Also theres going to be a lot of backtracking in this game so keep that in mind. Oh and lastly, when you get important items, make sure to examine them. Some items have secret compartments inside them that may hold something good.

That's a bad idea. You can easily get past them by just walking and as for mr x in the same room, I walk as far as I can and use flashbangs to my advantage

Here are some gameplay tips if you want to read them: 1. There are three herbs in this game (Green, Red, Blue). It is most common to combine a red and green herb since it maxes out your health. You can combine multiple green herbs, but it's honestly a waste as they aren't as effective. Red and blue can give you extra defense for a short time, while green and blue heals little and cures poison. Combining one of each maxes out your health and gives increased defense for a time. Blue can also be taken by itself to cure poison. 2. You never want to discard ammo or health items. You'll almost always need them to survive. If you find yourself full, check the bottom right of the item's picture for a red checkmark. If it has one, that means it's of no longer use and can be discarded. If not, then check if items you have can be combined. Any items you pick up can be combined straight away with an item in your inventory without it having to be in the first. 3. Always check items you pick up other than herbs and ammunition. It's a staple of older Resident Evil games that by checking items you pick up, you find out more information about them, as well as possibly find hidden interactive things about them. 4. The map is your friend. Black areas mean you haven't visited that area yet. Blue areas mean you been through and have found all possible items in that area. Red means you've been rough the area but there are still items to pick up. Some areas between rooms are color coded to the 4 main keys that you get (Spade, Diamond, Club, Heart). Checking a key in the inventory will tell you what it is. Also if you don't pick up an item, the map will show you the location of that item until you pick it up. 5. To save ammunition, shoot zombies in one of the legs until it's severed. They'll be crippled on the floor crawling and move much slower, allowing you to run past. Unless you get a critical hit on a headshot, this takes less ammo than killing the zombie. If it's an area you frequently travel though, you'll probably want to kill all the ones in the area. Try to kill Lickers as well when you meet them. There will come a time in the game they'll start to be a liability to survival. If you want to get by them, you have to walk EXTREMELY SLOW or else they will hear you and attack. 6. The guns you out away still have ammunition in them. You should use them early on to clear out zombies then put them away when you don't want them. Claire and Leon's default weapons get upgrades throughout the game, making them better near the end than the samurai edges. Chris's samurai edge I believe does more damage but Jill's is more accurate. That I'm not 100% sure on though. 7. The game isn't totally linear in the sense that there will be places you won't be able to visit until a later part of the game. If you come across a puzzle and don't have what the puzzle is looking for, chances are you will come across it later so don't fret too much about it. You also can open some of the lockers in the weapons locker room without the two blank keys for 2 and 3. So you could open 101, 104, etc. 8. Your supply box can be organized by type to make things easier to find later in the game. Keep this in mind so you don't miss anything important by accident and waste time. It's a good idea to organize your box every once in a while to clear out items with checkmarks and to look for important items for puzzles. Also, it doesn't hurt to try and combine important items together. Sometimes it will be exactly what you need to do. And again, can't stress this enough but check items that you get! 9.Leon's and Claire's stories differ from each other and also differ depending on the order you play them. You may have found find terms online like Leon A and so forth. It refers to the order you play the campaigns. The way you're playing the game right now would be canon in the Resident Evil storyline (Claire A, Leon B). That means you play through Claire's campaign first, then play Leon's campaign immediately after for the rest of the story. The other way (Leon A, Claire B) is also a lot of fun and should be played through as well maybe in your free time. 10. The most important thing of all is to have fun! If anything I said and suggested would take away from your fun, please don't listen to me! Anyway, great to see you playing this game and looking forward to seeing more of this game!
Mo Nasser Maybe not, but I think there are slight story differences. Hopefully they improve upon this game for the next RE game! I still think they did a really good job on this remake overall.
edit: you can get all the things in the locker that does not require a 2 or 3 button. also you have 1 spare key that can be placed in the spot of either 2 or 3. so yea there are several lockers in that room where you got the grenade launcher, that you can open. also its really not recommended to discard consumables like ammo and health. theres almost never a situation where thats necessary. you can combine 3 green herbs together or just run to the item box. the map is designed so that all the time there are detours to get to a save room to store some of your shit. for example you could have gone back upstairs to the hallway where the helicopter is to get to an item box. you are going to end up royally screwing your self by doing that too much. ive watched others play this game and they got to a point where they had next to nothing because they did not handle their resources well. these are just tips by the way, not telling you to play a certain way, just giving some warning so you dont have a hard time. Marz you dont have to worry too much about leaving behind puzzles or things. this isn't a linear on rails kinda game where you just keep moving forward to new areas and cant go back. pretty much you can explore and tackle things at your own leisure. you'll encounter alot of puzzles/items that require keys you wont find until an hour or more later into the game. for example that jack in the library, the item needed to use that you wont get until probably 1-2 hours later in the game depending on how good and fast you are. and it isn't a "sidequest", thats just the level/progression design of old school survival horror games. resident evil 7 was kinda sorta like that but a heavily simplified version. there are things that you can accidentally skip definitely, but in general there are alot of mandatory things that are shown to the player early on but you wont be able to do anything until further down the line aka alot of backtracking. you're gna have to learn this map pretty well to succeed.
In the Library if she moved all those shelves to the right,she wouldve found Ammo but I guess its not a big deal,but Im surprised that she didnt figure out the locker Room by just entering the number for the specific locker and also placing the missing key to access even more lockers for items
She is playing this game blind so let her figure it out on her own. I think most people that make videos on this game cheat by searching how to beat it before they make their videos.

More tips you've read a hundred times by now: Save as often as possible and in different save slots just in case a save gets corrupted or you want to go back at some point. When you run out of save slots, start at the top and over write. ;) Examine everything you find, top to bottom, side to side, front and back. Because secrets. ;) Combine everything. Herbs, gun parts, items, even things you can't combine, try to combine them. Then, combine them again. It saves space. ;) Always carry keys with you until they're used up. Keys are also bolt cutters, cranks, valves, etc. Saves having to backtrack. ;)
Some useful tips from a fellow RE2 gamer: - Don't waste bullets killing every zombie you see unless you think the decrease in ammo will be worth it or you need to solve a puzzle or scavenge for items in a room full of zombies. It is almost always better to run around or use a bullet or two to stun them. - Even when you do "kill" an enemy, make sure not to step on them as they may still be alive. If you do manage to kill one but suspect they'll get up, run past them and conserve the ammo, unless you think it is an area you'll need to be heading back to or solving a puzzle in. - Always ALWAYS read the tutorials and notes that you find as you obtain them, especially the ones with green text. They often contain valuable information that the devs thought was important for the player to know, and not just for lore. - Knives are degenerative and have a certain threshold of usage that they can withstand before they break and are no longer usable. Once used to defend against an enemy, they can only be retrieved after the enemy is disposed of. - Don't waste the window borders. You only get so much of them, so use them in areas you find yourself going back to often that are high traffic. - Probably a good idea to have only one weapon that takes a certain type of ammo equipped at one time, rather than multiple. This will prevent wasting ammo by having spare clips in the guns you don't use. Both pre-order models are the same as the starter gun, just with a higher clip capacity. However, as you progress, you will be able to find upgrades that will make the starter weapon much better than the other pre-order ones. - Heal only when you have reached the red or danger level for your health bar. It will save your healing items for when you absolutely need them, as they can be scarce, plus it saves more. - If you ever get lost, examine items you have collected. Some of them might hold secrets to progressing through the game or getting to getting to certain items. - Lastly, be smart about your inventory management and take only what you think you'll need. For me, I often take a weapon, extra ammo if I have any, a sub-weapon, and at least one healing item or more if I anticipate a boss, plus whatever item I will need for puzzle solving. - The map will show items you have seen but have not piked up yet. An area will be red if you have not yet picked up all the items in the area, and blue if it has been fully explored. - Saves. Only overwrite a save slot if the two points are close together and little to no action has occurred. Otherwise, it is smart to always make new ones in games like these. If nobody already mentioned it the demo ended when you spoke to Marvin and he showed you that Leon had survived, a few tips/mentions you couldnt delete the objects because you were in the storage crate menu all you can do there is move stuff around and combine, you need to have the item in your inventory to have the option to delete it, a nice tip to save on ammo is to cripple zombies in rooms you know you can run around them, just shoot their legs until they drop, and the map is your best friend in this game it tells you where items are that you've seen but not picked up and if the room is red then there are still items in that room, otherwise you're doing a fine job.
Love seeing your blind reactions to stuff. Two things I would note are, kill stuff if you’re gonna be in that area often, otherwise running away is fine. And examining items you pick up usually give additional clues what it’s for

The demo ended after returning to the main hall when Marvin radioed telling you to come back. I've already seen some people add some but here are some helpful tips: •The map is your best friend in the game; it's color coded to let you know if there's any items still needing to be picked up. Blue for completed, red for still having items. •NEVER discard items unless they have the little check mark. The time it takes to run back to drop off items at the box is nothing if you desperately need a healing item(since they're limited) and you discarded one to make space. Goes for ammo, gun powder, and secondary weapons as well. Which leads into my next point... •Always travel light. Leave only a couple weapons, ammo and secondary weapons on you - and a key if necessary. Maybe a single health item... but some players don't even take that while exploring. Because if you're exploring new, unexplored rooms, you're bound to find more ammo or healing items. •Be sure to combine herbs. *2 green = medium recovery, 3 green is full recovery, 1 green + 1 red is full recovery, 1 green + 1 blue + 1 red is full recovery/poison resistance/defense boost* •Thoroughly examine items in your inventory. Flipping, rotating in all directions, like with the scepter you got from the statue. It reveals buttons and switches or shows that you can open certain items. It also usually gives items a name rather than something generic like "electronic device" that can be helpful hints as to where it's used. •Finally... inventory management!
the weapon room where you got the shot gun,there alot of items that you need.there in the other lockers. you use that keyboard/numberboard thing to unlock the other lockers.there are 2 missing white buttons.you already found one. you put the missing button in storage chest. you can still unlock some of the lockers with out the buttons. there are bullets/ammo, gun parts and innovatory packs in the lockers. To unlock the locker go to the keyboard/numberboard push numbers of the lockers,if you push 106, 106 will unlock. the innovatory packs give you more space,to carry more items.
Hi Marz, a few things to consider: -You can combine red and green herbs for full heal -Examine ALL items you pick up. Details hint at what to do with them. -You can discard red checked items OUTSIDE of the storage menu. I love your RE content, keep it coming!
This is so fun 👏 When you waited by the bookcase for the c4 to detonate by sheer luck, preventing it from falling and then it fell after you moved - I thought you'd put it back immediately. You were this close to a really pro move 🤏 I didn't learn that until 3rd playthrough.
One tip is to examine items when you pick them up. Especially when they just have a generic name initially. Not only will it sometimes tell you the actual name of the object, but other times it'll reveal items or clues for you. Like if you examined that "Electronic Gadget" it would've revealed that it was a detonator with a missing battery. And the reason you sometimes can't discard items in your inventory is because your inventory is being opened through a safe. Instead you need to manually open your inventory and then it'll allow you to discard whichever item you wanted to.
Few tips! Don't kill all the zombies, you can run out of ammo and be unable to finish the game. You can shoot them in the head to stun them and keep moving. You can also shoot their legs off to make them slower too, although normally one headshot can stagger them while their legs can take a few more bullets before they break. Some people say to kill the lickers, I think they are pretty easy to evade. They do pose a problem when zombies and lickers are in the same room. You can't discard items while using a storage box. Don't waste green herbs mixing them together, is way better to mix red and green herbs, they give you full health. There's another herb that can be mixed with the R + G herb mixture but, I won't spoil what it does. Try to keep just one healing item in your inventory, almost always there's a storage box nearby in case you need to heal more. You can't make fire rounds, only find them and you can't find acid rounds, only make them. Grenades and Flash Grenades are good to kill/stun groups of zombies but, I prefer to use them to get out of a zombie's hold. You can walk normally around a licker but not run. That's it for now!

always check your map. rooms where you have discovered everything will turn blue. it also shows you all the items you ran past and didn't pick up. and some items you need to examine otherwise you can't use them.
I would recommend choosing 2 weapons and sticking to only those 2. This way you get more ammo concentration. Your hand gun is a good one and then either the grenade launcher or the SMG you get later on. I would say hand gun and SMG offers the higher amount of ammo savings because you can combine gunpowder + gunpowder to make regular ammo, and high grade gunpowder + high grade gun powder. This way you are not spreading the gunpowder out between 3 weapons and you can also store ammo pickups for the 3rd weapon.
Scared marz is the best marz!! We love you ♥️ Edit: Marz for the love of God make sure you read and examine every note and item and check every room throughly. The map shows you items that still need to be collected in each room and the room will turn blue once you've completed searching. Also make sure you open every door you find and check the rooms for doors you can go through. It'll save you a lot of backtracking. Also only keep 1 health on you if you really think you need it. It just takes up unnecessary space because you can easily run around zombies. Which brings me to another point. Quit killing every zombie!! It's a huge waste of ammo. Just knock em down or run by them. You're gonna be struggling way more than you need to trying to find ammo. Last point. Use the spare key in the weapons room. You can still open up a few of the lockers with 1 key and a few others that aren't missing keys at all. Good luck 👍

U can combine 3 green herbs to make a full heal, shouldn't have discard that green herb lol, but its best to combine green and red, and then later on red + green _+ blue for full heal + bonus defense
*Keep multiple save files.* If you get stuck in a situation without enough ammo you could be properly screwed. This is RE, conserve ammo, manage your inventory and keep multiple saves. The Licker that dropped down was already triggered to see you and attack no matter what. The others wandering about you can walk by them with no trouble, if you don't get too close. Another great video, love how many subs you've got now 👍🏼 you deserve more.

a little tip for the map - if the map is blue that's mean you already there and there is nothing important item anymore - if the map black you are not yet to access the room/place - if the map red you already access but they're still an item that not yet you grab or puzzle that you didn't complete and one more thing, conserve your ammo, if that room has more than two zombies, just kill one or two or if you had a hard time to shoot their head( make the head explodes), shoot them on the leg it is much easier, make sure the leg is cut off that will make the zombie crawling and you have more space to run/evade. the way you play made me tense, but in a positive way so keep it up, some tips: acid round kills licker in 1 shot but after you shoot make sure you have to get away cause the licker will go crazy before it dies. flame round +1 handgun bullet kills lickers too. in this video idk why 1 flame round could kill it, maybe it's because of the difficulty level difference
I don't remember how they are called but there's 3 options to adjust the brightness settings... leave the first one like it is in the middle, the second brightness option turn it a bit to the left, the third brightness option turn it a bit to the right. I was very satisfied with how the brightness in the game overall turned out to be. (hopefully this is helpful to you as well)
Realizing that you have never been exposed to the original 1998 RE2 makes your playthrough is so much fun to watch =D I also just started playing this game last night, and as one of the many old timey gamers that enjoyed the original, this is probably the best remake ever made (imo).
Claire is 19 years old during this game. Leon is 21. Sadly Claire doesn’t get a Shotgun, each character gets different weapons. That’s part of the fun though! I can get all 3 medallions in 18 mins. ;) My PS4 gets extremely loud for this game as well, I have to turn my TV volume up to 60 to drown it out. Lool That Licker in the C4 room always knows you’re there, can’t sneak past that one. :P
Walking back and forth to pick up items is what you do in these games, don't stress about it, just take your time. Resources don't grow on trees, discarding them isn't really a good idea. You should combine Green+Red to get a full heal out of both, otherwise it's kind of a waste. Knifing zombies on the ground once they are down to make sure they are permanently dead is a good way to conserve both ammo and knife durability as it takes significantly less damage compared to stabbing it in a zombie to escape. You should inspect items you don't know the use for, the game might give you a hint and you might find a secret use for them. You should probably use at least two alternating save spots in case you put yourself in a situation you can't get out off, like running out of ammo and health before a boss. There's clue to solving the locks in the environment, you should look around, you passed one and you passed the save in the office too.
She should also go to the locker room,place the missing key and enter locker number to get items or accessories and one of the things is a hip pouch to help her carry more items or weapons
The end of the DEMO is when Marvin calls you to show Leon at the gate atleast that is where mine ended i still have 5 minutes more .. As always amazing video and you are so adorable when you are scared ..
Lmao, the moment you didn't check whether a zombie is really dead or not by using knife or bullet , I knew you'd get jumped later on lolz. The funniest part is you keep doing that again and again which is hilarious lolz. (like it happened a couple times -> still never check whether a zombie after they fall down)
Marz I just want to say your doing great and being very brave! I hope you play the second run with Leon because I cant wait until you know the game more and just run around solving all the puzzles and killing everything. Friendly tip red/green plant = full health and red/green/blue cure poison full health and gives defense boost(good for boss fights). Green/green is not as helpful. Sometimes its just best to run and save ammo if you can.
You probably already know it but just in case: if you look at the map you'll notice that the rooms you've been in are either red or blue, red means that you missed some items in them. Blue means that you cleared them. Also, when it comes to herb mixing: don't mix the same colours with each other. The best herb is Red+Green+Blue all in one. Edit: Oh, and please examine your items. Sometimes there's more to them than meets the eye at first glance.
Marzbars after shooting a zombie to the floor you can slash it till its dead instead of shooting it when it gets back up. It saved me about 4 to 5 bullets every time ;) Hope this helps
Tips: conserve ammunition and health girl. examine every items you don't know whats its purpose for in your inventory, examining items will reveal info about items and such. when a room is red it means there's still items there you can pick up or you need to do something in that room to obtain items, if you can't pick an item. clicking on it and leaving it there will make it show up on the map so u won;t forget about it.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news. All the stuff you dropped could have been prevented. You have the keypad button to access some of the lockers where you used the key card to get the grenade launcher. And I think one of the lockers you can access with it has an item pouch for 2 extra items. You stashed the button prior to going back in there after you found the key card. But that's what's great about this game. Most peopel will have a slightly different experience due to choices they make. :)
You actually need both spare keys to get the pouch. The 2nd one is in the linen room, diamond key. She wouldn't have been able to get it. She could however gotten a pouch from the west office safe, but she went to the waiting room instead.
This game has a lot of back and forth. Also keep your eyes on the map, the place in red colour means you still have something to do or some item to pick. Sorry for my bad english.
Dont feel rushed to get through this game you could end up missing things. Take your time and really get into it like Resi 7. Sometimes there will be times where you will panic and run only to forget to go back to where you were and miss items. The binaural sounds are amazing and are designed to completely freak you out. Its not really necessary or worthwhile to kill any of the lickers in the police station. You can just sneak past them. Just board windows where they appear to prevent zombies attracting their attention and you can just live and let live with the lickers.

Unless you get a critical hit on a headshot, this takes less ammo than killing the zombie. If it's an area you frequently travel though, you'll probably want to kill all the ones in the area. Try to kill Lickers as well when you meet them. There will come a time in the game they'll start to be a liability to survival. If you want to get by them, you have to walk EXTREMELY SLOW or else they will hear you and attack.
6. The guns you out away still have ammunition in them. You should use them early on to clear out zombies then put them away when you don't want them. Claire and Leon's default weapons get upgrades throughout the game, making them better near the end than the samurai edges. Chris's samurai edge I believe does more damage but Jill's is more accurate. That I'm not 100% sure on though.
7. The game isn't totally linear in the sense that there will be places you won't be able to visit until a later part of the game. If you come across a puzzle and don't have what the puzzle is looking for, chances are you will come across it later so don't fret too much about it. You also can open some of the lockers in the weapons locker room without the two blank keys for 2 and 3. So you could open 101, 104, etc.
8. Your supply box can be organized by type to make things easier to find later in the game. Keep this in mind so you don't miss anything important by accident and waste time. It's a good idea to organize your box every once in a while to clear out items with checkmarks and to look for important items for puzzles. Also, it doesn't hurt to try and combine important items together. Sometimes it will be exactly what you need to do. And again, can't stress this enough but check items that you get!
9.Leon's and Claire's stories differ from each other and also differ depending on the order you play them. You may have found find terms online like Leon A and so forth. It refers to the order you play the campaigns. The way you're playing the game right now would be canon in the Resident Evil storyline (Claire A, Leon B). That means you play through Claire's campaign first, then play Leon's campaign immediately after for the rest of the story. The other way (Leon A, Claire B) is also a lot of fun and should be played through as well maybe in your free time.
10. The most important thing of all is to have fun! If anything I said and suggested would take away from your fun, please don't listen to me!

edit: you can get all the things in the locker that does not require a 2 or 3 button. also you have 1 spare key that can be placed in the spot of either 2 or 3. so yea there are several lockers in that room where you got the grenade launcher, that you can open.
also its really not recommended to discard consumables like ammo and health. theres almost never a situation where thats necessary. you can combine 3 green herbs together or just run to the item box. the map is designed so that all the time there are detours to get to a save room to store some of your shit. for example you could have gone back upstairs to the hallway where the helicopter is to get to an item box. you are going to end up royally screwing your self by doing that too much. ive watched others play this game and they got to a point where they had next to nothing because they did not handle their resources well. these are just tips by the way, not telling you to play a certain way, just giving some warning so you dont have a hard time.
Marz you dont have to worry too much about leaving behind puzzles or things. this isn't a linear on rails kinda game where you just keep moving forward to new areas and cant go back. pretty much you can explore and tackle things at your own leisure. you'll encounter alot of puzzles/items that require keys you wont find until an hour or more later into the game. for example that jack in the library, the item needed to use that you wont get until probably 1-2 hours later in the game depending on how good and fast you are. and it isn't a "sidequest", thats just the level/progression design of old school survival horror games. resident evil 7 was kinda sorta like that but a heavily simplified version. there are things that you can accidentally skip definitely, but in general there are alot of mandatory things that are shown to the player early on but you wont be able to do anything until further down the line aka alot of backtracking. you're gna have to learn this map pretty well to succeed.
In the Library if she moved all those shelves to the right,she wouldve found Ammo but I guess its not a big deal,but Im surprised that she didnt figure out the locker Room by just entering the number for the specific locker and also placing the missing key to access even more lockers for items
She is playing this game blind so let her figure it out on her own. I think most people that make videos on this game cheat by searching how to beat it before they make their videos.

More tips you've read a hundred times by now:
Save as often as possible and in different save slots just in case a save gets corrupted or you want to go back at some point. When you run out of save slots, start at the top and over write. ;)
Examine everything you find, top to bottom, side to side, front and back. Because secrets. ;)
Combine everything. Herbs, gun parts, items, even things you can't combine, try to combine them. Then, combine them again. It saves space. ;)
Always carry keys with you until they're used up. Keys are also bolt cutters, cranks, valves, etc. Saves having to backtrack. ;)
You should always examine the items you pick up they can be converted into different items
Some useful tips from a fellow RE2 gamer:
- Don't waste bullets killing every zombie you see unless you think the decrease in ammo will be worth it or you need to solve a puzzle or scavenge for items in a room full of zombies. It is almost always better to run around or use a bullet or two to stun them.
- Even when you do "kill" an enemy, make sure not to step on them as they may still be alive. If you do manage to kill one but suspect they'll get up, run past them and conserve the ammo, unless you think it is an area you'll need to be heading back to or solving a puzzle in.
- Always ALWAYS read the tutorials and notes that you find as you obtain them, especially the ones with green text. They often contain valuable information that the devs thought was important for the player to know, and not just for lore.
- Knives are degenerative and have a certain threshold of usage that they can withstand before they break and are no longer usable. Once used to defend against an enemy, they can only be retrieved after the enemy is disposed of.
- Don't waste the window borders. You only get so much of them, so use them in areas you find yourself going back to often that are high traffic.
- Probably a good idea to have only one weapon that takes a certain type of ammo equipped at one time, rather than multiple. This will prevent wasting ammo by having spare clips in the guns you don't use. Both pre-order models are the same as the starter gun, just with a higher clip capacity. However, as you progress, you will be able to find upgrades that will make the starter weapon much better than the other pre-order ones.
- Heal only when you have reached the red or danger level for your health bar. It will save your healing items for when you absolutely need them, as they can be scarce, plus it saves more.
- If you ever get lost, examine items you have collected. Some of them might hold secrets to progressing through the game or getting to getting to certain items.
- Lastly, be smart about your inventory management and take only what you think you'll need. For me, I often take a weapon, extra ammo if I have any, a sub-weapon, and at least one healing item or more if I anticipate a boss, plus whatever item I will need for puzzle solving.
- The map will show items you have seen but have not piked up yet. An area will be red if you have not yet picked up all the items in the area, and blue if it has been fully explored.
- Saves. Only overwrite a save slot if the two points are close together and little to no action has occurred. Otherwise, it is smart to always make new ones in games like these.

If nobody already mentioned it the demo ended when you spoke to Marvin and he showed you that Leon had survived, a few tips/mentions you couldnt delete the objects because you were in the storage crate menu all you can do there is move stuff around and combine, you need to have the item in your inventory to have the option to delete it, a nice tip to save on ammo is to cripple zombies in rooms you know you can run around them, just shoot their legs until they drop, and the map is your best friend in this game it tells you where items are that you've seen but not picked up and if the room is red then there are still items in that room, otherwise you're doing a fine job.

Love seeing your blind reactions to stuff. Two things I would note are, kill stuff if you’re gonna be in that area often, otherwise running away is fine. And examining items you pick up usually give additional clues what it’s for

I've already seen some people add some but here are some helpful tips:
•The map is your best friend in the game; it's color coded to let you know if there's any items still needing to be picked up. Blue for completed, red for still having items.
•NEVER discard items unless they have the little check mark. The time it takes to run back to drop off items at the box is nothing if you desperately need a healing item(since they're limited) and you discarded one to make space. Goes for ammo, gun powder, and secondary weapons as well. Which leads into my next point...
•Always travel light. Leave only a couple weapons, ammo and secondary weapons on you - and a key if necessary. Maybe a single health item... but some players don't even take that while exploring. Because if you're exploring new, unexplored rooms, you're bound to find more ammo or healing items.
•Be sure to combine herbs. *2 green = medium recovery, 3 green is full recovery, 1 green + 1 red is full recovery, 1 green + 1 blue + 1 red is full recovery/poison resistance/defense boost*
•Thoroughly examine items in your inventory. Flipping, rotating in all directions, like with the scepter you got from the statue. It reveals buttons and switches or shows that you can open certain items. It also usually gives items a name rather than something generic like "electronic device" that can be helpful hints as to where it's used.
•Finally... inventory management!
You can't discard items when you are in the item box...has to be from your regular inventory

the weapon room where you got the shot gun,there alot of items that you need.there in the other lockers. you use that keyboard/numberboard thing to unlock the other lockers.there are 2 missing white buttons.you already found one. you put the missing button in storage chest. you can still unlock some of the lockers with out the buttons. there are bullets/ammo, gun parts and innovatory packs in the lockers. To unlock the locker go to the keyboard/numberboard push numbers of the lockers,if you push 106, 106 will unlock. the innovatory packs give you more space,to carry more items.
Hi Marz, a few things to consider:
-You can combine red and green herbs for full heal
-Examine ALL items you pick up. Details hint at what to do with them.
-You can discard red checked items OUTSIDE of the storage menu.

This is so fun 👏 When you waited by the bookcase for the c4 to detonate by sheer luck, preventing it from falling and then it fell after you moved - I thought you'd put it back immediately. You were this close to a really pro move 🤏 I didn't learn that until 3rd playthrough.

One tip is to examine items when you pick them up. Especially when they just have a generic name initially. Not only will it sometimes tell you the actual name of the object, but other times it'll reveal items or clues for you. Like if you examined that "Electronic Gadget" it would've revealed that it was a detonator with a missing battery.
And the reason you sometimes can't discard items in your inventory is because your inventory is being opened through a safe. Instead you need to manually open your inventory and then it'll allow you to discard whichever item you wanted to.
Few tips!
Don't kill all the zombies, you can run out of ammo and be unable to finish the game. You can shoot them in the head to stun them and keep moving. You can also shoot their legs off to make them slower too, although normally one headshot can stagger them while their legs can take a few more bullets before they break.
Some people say to kill the lickers, I think they are pretty easy to evade. They do pose a problem when zombies and lickers are in the same room.
You can't discard items while using a storage box.
Don't waste green herbs mixing them together, is way better to mix red and green herbs, they give you full health. There's another herb that can be mixed with the R + G herb mixture but, I won't spoil what it does.
Try to keep just one healing item in your inventory, almost always there's a storage box nearby in case you need to heal more.
You can't make fire rounds, only find them and you can't find acid rounds, only make them.
Grenades and Flash Grenades are good to kill/stun groups of zombies but, I prefer to use them to get out of a zombie's hold.
You can walk normally around a licker but not run.

You can check the map. If the places are still red, there are items that can be picked up and if they are blue there is nothing.

I would recommend choosing 2 weapons and sticking to only those 2. This way you get more ammo concentration.
Your hand gun is a good one and then either the grenade launcher or the SMG you get later on.
I would say hand gun and SMG offers the higher amount of ammo savings because you can combine gunpowder + gunpowder to make regular ammo, and high grade gunpowder + high grade gun powder.
This way you are not spreading the gunpowder out between 3 weapons and you can also store ammo pickups for the 3rd weapon.

Edit: Marz for the love of God make sure you read and examine every note and item and check every room throughly. The map shows you items that still need to be collected in each room and the room will turn blue once you've completed searching. Also make sure you open every door you find and check the rooms for doors you can go through. It'll save you a lot of backtracking. Also only keep 1 health on you if you really think you need it. It just takes up unnecessary space because you can easily run around zombies. Which brings me to another point. Quit killing every zombie!! It's a huge waste of ammo. Just knock em down or run by them. You're gonna be struggling way more than you need to trying to find ammo. Last point. Use the spare key in the weapons room. You can still open up a few of the lockers with 1 key and a few others that aren't missing keys at all. Good luck 👍

a little tip for the map
- if the map is blue that's mean you already there and there is nothing important item anymore
- if the map black you are not yet to access the room/place
- if the map red you already access but they're still an item that not yet you grab or puzzle that you didn't complete
and one more thing, conserve your ammo, if that room has more than two zombies, just kill one or two or if you had a hard time to shoot their head( make the head explodes), shoot them on the leg it is much easier, make sure the leg is cut off that will make the zombie crawling and you have more space to run/evade. Have fun :)

the way you play made me tense, but in a positive way so keep it up, some tips: acid round kills licker in 1 shot but after you shoot make sure you have to get away cause the licker will go crazy before it dies. flame round +1 handgun bullet kills lickers too. in this video idk why 1 flame round could kill it, maybe it's because of the difficulty level difference

I don't remember how they are called but there's 3 options to adjust the brightness settings... leave the first one like it is in the middle, the second brightness option turn it a bit to the left, the third brightness option turn it a bit to the right. I was very satisfied with how the brightness in the game overall turned out to be. (hopefully this is helpful to you as well)

Walking back and forth to pick up items is what you do in these games, don't stress about it, just take your time. Resources don't grow on trees, discarding them isn't really a good idea. You should combine Green+Red to get a full heal out of both, otherwise it's kind of a waste. Knifing zombies on the ground once they are down to make sure they are permanently dead is a good way to conserve both ammo and knife durability as it takes significantly less damage compared to stabbing it in a zombie to escape. You should inspect items you don't know the use for, the game might give you a hint and you might find a secret use for them. You should probably use at least two alternating save spots in case you put yourself in a situation you can't get out off, like running out of ammo and health before a boss. There's clue to solving the locks in the environment, you should look around, you passed one and you passed the save in the office too.
She should also go to the locker room,place the missing key and enter locker number to get items or accessories and one of the things is a hip pouch to help her carry more items or weapons
The end of the DEMO is when Marvin calls you to show Leon at the gate atleast that is where mine ended i still have 5 minutes more .. As always amazing video and you are so adorable when you are scared ..

Marz I just want to say your doing great and being very brave! I hope you play the second run with Leon because I cant wait until you know the game more and just run around solving all the puzzles and killing everything. Friendly tip red/green plant = full health and red/green/blue cure poison full health and gives defense boost(good for boss fights). Green/green is not as helpful. Sometimes its just best to run and save ammo if you can.
You probably already know it but just in case: if you look at the map you'll notice that the rooms you've been in are either red or blue, red means that you missed some items in them. Blue means that you cleared them. Also, when it comes to herb mixing: don't mix the same colours with each other. The best herb is Red+Green+Blue all in one.
Edit: Oh, and please examine your items. Sometimes there's more to them than meets the eye at first glance.
Marzbars after shooting a zombie to the floor you can slash it till its dead instead of shooting it when it gets back up. It saved me about 4 to 5 bullets every time ;) Hope this helps
Tips: conserve ammunition and health girl. examine every items you don't know whats its purpose for in your inventory, examining items will reveal info about items and such. when a room is red it means there's still items there you can pick up or you need to do something in that room to obtain items, if you can't pick an item. clicking on it and leaving it there will make it show up on the map so u won;t forget about it.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. All the stuff you dropped could have been prevented. You have the keypad button to access some of the lockers where you used the key card to get the grenade launcher. And I think one of the lockers you can access with it has an item pouch for 2 extra items. You stashed the button prior to going back in there after you found the key card. But that's what's great about this game. Most peopel will have a slightly different experience due to choices they make. :)
You actually need both spare keys to get the pouch. The 2nd one is in the linen room, diamond key. She wouldn't have been able to get it. She could however gotten a pouch from the west office safe, but she went to the waiting room instead.

Dont feel rushed to get through this game you could end up missing things. Take your time and really get into it like Resi 7. Sometimes there will be times where you will panic and run only to forget to go back to where you were and miss items. The binaural sounds are amazing and are designed to completely freak you out. Its not really necessary or worthwhile to kill any of the lickers in the police station. You can just sneak past them. Just board windows where they appear to prevent zombies attracting their attention and you can just live and let live with the lickers.
