I like the idea of Waspinator having an indestructible spark. It’s pretty much the only explanation for how he survives so many obviously lethal attacks.
I think Inferno could claim an honorary durability stat (certainly not an 11 though) as he shrugged off being vaporized once. I theorize he only died because Megatron was firing at him at that moment, and therefore assumed he was under orders from the queen of the colony to cease living. 😎

You know, I actually never realized how lucky Waspinator must be, considering that he flew through space for a couple million years (or a billion, depending on personal preference) and not ONCE did he get blown up by a Decepticon who thought he was an ordinary alien, not to mention that he did it with bug wings rather than thrusters.
Yeah, how Bug Wings work in Space is a mystery.
@@PerspectiveEnd thinking about it, if predacons are the decendants of the deceptacons in G1 they may have some level of the deceptacon flying ability that lets even the non-flying combatants take to the skies.

Indeed he was, and he wasn't exactly out of Range of the Nemesis's weapons when that Accidentally killed Inferno and Quickstrike.
If inferno didn’t have his mind messed up by being an ant the planet would’ve been scorched, it does make me wonder what he was like before the show
Yeah, if he wasn't brain damaged he'd probably be even more dangerous... Or maybe less. Maybe he wouldn't take orders well.

I like how... fair(?) the beast wars power levels feel. There's definetly a lot of characters way stronger than others but you can match up two people and most of the time I could see the fight going either way. Great video perspectiveend!

Others have already mentioned Megatrons hip cannons, i just remembered that Terrorsaur has an Eye laser attack just like Dinobot and Waspinator.
i think that eye weapon really makes terrorsaurs arsenal kinda OP. You see him use it a few times including when he and waspinator were melting a hole underground

Seriously though, that notwithstanding, it's interesting under analysis that Waspinator isn't actually that bad in combat, he's just very unlucky.
I mean yeah, there's nothing he's really doing wrong, it's just he's the first to get splatted every time.
Waspinator always seems to beat Silverbolt in air to air combat, whenever they battle in the air it seems Silverbolt is the who crashes.
Scorponok is a weird one because of how inconsistent he was during the show, but despite this, I think his ratings of strength and tactics could be raised a point since he has been shown to aim at rocks behind people like Terrorsaur. He does this in Gorilla Warfare, where he shoots behind Dinobot so that the rocks crush him to distract Optimus. Scorponok also has utilized his tail in a fight, this is shown in Dark Designs, in the same episode he got into a fight with Dinobot and was also able to keep Dinobot on the ground for a while.
I always took that as him just kind of spraying and praying.
I don't remember him using his tail then?
@@PerspectiveEnd In that episode he swung his body so that his tail would whip around and hit Dinobot which is what knocks Dinobot down and allowed Scorponok to jump and headbutt him. Rewatching it Scorponok does seem to just enter a blind rage but he did seem to keep Dinobot on his back for a while.
If i'm not mistaken, the missiles megatron uses come from those blasters on his thighs. You can see them on the sides of his thighs, imbedded in his beast mode kibble

Yes, they did. I was watching an episode today where he fires a missile and it came from his tail/pincer. God, that just looks awful and makes no sense.
If I remember correctly, Waspinator used the same wormhole to get back to Cybertron as the others but not on a ship. It was still funny.

It's tough being Waspinator, just like it's hard to be the best.
Gotta say, I do think the listing are perfect. Beast Wars knew you can't have that 'cool, best fight who never dies', everyone has a flaw that another member can make up for. I feel like more series could take a note from that.

One of the few things I liked about kingdom was blackaracknia using her webbing as a 3d printer.
If the spiders could not betray each other, they'd be unstoppable.
Yeah, if they could just stop being so treacherous, they'd have a lot more of a chance to win.
Interesting thing about Trantulas. While in the show he was one of the lesser fighters when it came to melee, for his original toy Hasbro intended to make him a ninja.
Kinda interesting then that in the show the other spider character end up with more ninja like properties. Though I'm not complaining as Tarantulas ended up becoming when of the best evil scientist characters in all of Transformers.

Waspinator flew to Cybertron through space with his wings. Well, that is one of the greatest Transformers facts that most people don't know.
Honestly, Waspinator probably IS immortal, it's just that Hasbro doesn't want to admit it

Waspinator does get special points though.
Durability:
1st-Waspinator (unkillable, not even Beast Machines could kill him)
2nd-Rampage (needs pure energon to put him down)
3rd-Inferno (after being VAPORIZED still came out okay, only when a battleship ass blasted him he finally stayed dead)
4th-Tarantulas (only because he needs his minibots to drag his pieces back together time and time again or upload his mind from Black Tarantulas' body)
It takes too Ghosts and a lot of C4 to kill Tarantulas.

Waspinator is the only predacon to stay alive from the first beast wars episode to the final beast machines episode. He has been through some shit
I think Inferno would get a pretty good Durability score since he got blown up a few times and survived
I mean Tarantulas took a Nuke to the face, detonated by a pair of bombs that were on him, which wound up Killing Ravage.
A lot of them got blown up ALOT.

Great video, definitely do more, but I'd personally put Terrorsaur tactics at a 7 just because he doesn't show off many examples of quick thinking or advantageous positions. I'd also put Blackarachinia tactics at a 9 if not a 10. She's a god tier spy and she set out traps that always landed and worked and she liked to do them oftenly. She makes every advantage fliers have look like a joke.

If the durability thing applied to more characters, the transmetals would definitely rank higher, they are far more relisilient, however waspinator and rampage definitely would still be the highest ranking
What makes you say they are more Resilient? We never see them take damage to the same scale as characters before their upgrade?

As does Megatron, Beast Wars is not a Flawless show, and it played a little fast and loose with what was serious damage.
But as Waspinator usually remains conscious after destruction, I gotta give it to him.

Megatron had only two loyal troopers Scorponok and Inferno or three troopers if you include Rubbeer ducky yeeess. Beast Megatron said it best in the

If you do end up making a version of this with the transmetals, fuzors, and tm2s, you should increase the max level to 20. Transmetals are just better than normal beasts on average.
I don't agree. Transmetal 1s are not Stronger in comparison to regular Beast Formers, they have vehicle modes, but otherwise aren't more dangerous.
If waspinator wasn’t so unlucky, him and his damn pocket archvile would be like nemesis except somehow even more unkillable.

Who is more evil megatron or tarantulas. Both are insane, willing to manipulate and sacrifice hundreds to achieve there goals, and don’t seam to show any remorse or guilt for there actions.
If you take Beast Machines into account Megatron, if you take just Beast Wars into account, I'd say they are probably about equal, with maybe the Edge going to Tarantulas.
Megatron would torture his enemies for fun. Tarantulas would torture randos for fun.
For being the leader of the predacons, im surprised how low megs stats are in skill and weaponary
Why wouldn't Inferno get a durability stat? He doesn't get blown up as often as Waspinator but he's definitely a close second.
He does get injured alot but he doesn't tend to remain conscious, and he was killed by a big explosion.
@@PerspectiveEnd if there is anything that I feel needed fixing in this otherwise glorious Transformers series, it was the ridiculous inconsistencies in how damage is life threatening.
Inferno is definitely an example of this. Considering he was killed alongside Quickstrike by a blast from the Nemesis but survived the energon explosion that literally vaporized him and in fact was when Hasbro originally intended to kill him off... but like, if you decided he could survive that, then you gotta go all out when it's finally time to kill him...
Waspinator Would've shattered the timeline is he unveiled his True power , There's a good reason Unicron never made an attempt to eat earth During the beast wars

I have to disagree about Megatron's plasma beams being useless. In "Possession," he did cripple Dinobot, and in "Dark Designs," he crippled Rhinox to the point where Dinobot had to carry him out of the Pred base. It's possible that the damage it does depends on the energy he puts into it. Honestly, the power-scaling in Beast Wars is iffy-at best because it's mostly episodic and there's a lot of plot armor.

Hopefully this time I'm quick enough to have you see this before your video for the figure is all but posted, cause it's a neat little undocumented feature -- just got my LGC Bomb-burst, and due to the shape of his feet, if you have something narrow enough he can actually clamp on and hang upside down! Also, the backback will sit much flatter with the wings sattached if you keep the pick (axe?) thing in his hand.
Interesting. I will say that you definitely are fast enough since I don't even have the figure yet.
@@PerspectiveEnd Cool! I got him from BBTS, who are also the only place I've seen him in stock without being scalped for ~3x MSRP, even if it is just for five minutes or so at a time before going back to sold out. They must be going like gangbusters.
I'd probs give megs full points for strength just based on that time he pulled Rinox's arm off like a wing on a rotisserie chicken.

Interesting how most of the Maximals have better skill while most of the Predecons have the better arsenals and firepower.

I think scorponok should get a 9 or 10 in weaponry he has destroyed part of a mountain with his missile is the second episode of the show
That wasn't Scorponok, that was just about every Predacon firing at once. the Mountain was also rife with volatile Energon, so a luck shot likely detonated some of that.

As a kid I LOVED Inferno, he's such a Psychopath.
What if scorponok had a big brain??? How effective would he be in battle?, tbh if he did one of the annoying attacks he could do is make his missles tracking, and make them faster and shoot them rappidly from the far since well he was a techy type of guy even if he was dumb and adding great intellegence would make him very very dangerous good thing character development never went his way

Not Necessarily. Ant's have amazing strength for their scale, but that's partly because they are so small.

I wouldn't say the most powerful in the whole show, and I mean inferno Dropped Tarantulas like a bad habbit.
I'd say they are the most Versatile.
I don't know, I feel like Black Arachnia and Tarantulus's mini gun legs aren't all that powerful. They feel more like peashooters that stuns their enemies than do any heavy damage. Though I don't disagree that they both have a lot of weapons.
Oh yeah they don't hit very hard, but neither does Rhinox's mini guns. So they are about equally effective.

If there are two subordinates megatron actually cares for (at least for villain standards) who would they be. I’m thinking dinobot and inferno. Since he did seam to care when he got hurt during the fight in aftermath, and he keeps trying to clone dinobot showing that he likely missed having him on his team (though didn’t care for his honer)

Well Beast Wars Megatron is like 1/3rd Grimlocks height at the very biggest. So Grimlock. If we are talking who is smarter. Probably Megatron.
Your wrong about Infernos strength. He throws hands with Rhinox, fights Dinobot, fights Black Arachnia and does well in every fight. He even says that "I doesnt need a weapon to fight you" to either Dinonot and puts him on his back.
I don't remember Him ever fist fighting Dinobot.

I wonder why they made inferno a flier, maybe because he is male and he’s an ant, and male ants have wings, even though his beast mode doesn’t which means his beast mode is female, he’s bi gendered

Waspinator is not actually immortal, megatron has a ton of blank protoforms on board, but they only work with waspinators spark, whenever I get blasted to peices my spark transformers to them

@@PerspectiveEnd they only work for waspinators spark, as for why he survived getting blowed up after the dark syde was destroyed, one blank protoform survived, and that’s how I survived megatron firing at the early humans, I was stilling walking back there at the time

I wouldn't say the are all necessarily evil.
I mean Blackarachnia turns good, Quickstrike isn't even a Predacon, Inferno is just loyal beyond belief, and Waspinator isn't really evil so much as just on their side.

terrorsaur did use his big blaster thingy again, just in that one episode where they hunt the maximals in beast mode, i think 8 is basically perfect for scopInok, but he also used in the finale of s1 one toxic sting, and the backflip was in the predacon rhinox episode, where he suddenly became a brute and attacked terrorsaur head on, (my headcannon is he did that to look good in front of megatron), blackarachnia I always saw her as the weakest predacon, after all she has the petite girl bodytype, but in what she lacks in raw strenght makes it up in martial arts i'd say, extremely agile and very kick-ery, basically 4 or 3 on strengh imo, finally posession defines extremely well waspinator's skill, his body is capable of much higher skill but bc his user is waspinator is very low, so i dont think its bad luck, its more like he has very low reaction time for a flying bug
You know what that is correct, while in Waspinator's body, Starscream was able to out maneuver the maximals effectively.
i agree with everything in the list as you explain your reasoning for it well but my only problem is that all of waspinator's stats isn't 11. The universe has to keep nerfing him from time to time so that it can avoid getting annihilated by a stray blast from the bug himself
But they can't actually Nerf his Immortality because that's actually a 12, and there is only so much they can do to bring it to an 11.
How if fire a good weapon if characters can survive lava and faking through the atmosphere im thinking of headcanoning or maybe making it a thing for my series, but I’m thinking of giving them all heat sheilds which only work when entering or exiting an atmosphere

I wantwd to tell you about this for a while it is the interesting story of universe 2003 red alert - i mean bw inferno though the red alert part will make sense so this inferno comes from an alternate reality where his spark survived the beast wars but was found by unicron and unicron gave him the body of a random dead red alert from another universe and inferno was not happy it shot water instead of fire but when freed by optimus primal ( in your canon this could be any alternate primal you want but cannonically it is the og one after bm) the leader of the children of primus after being saved this inferno devoted his life to his new queen and fought unicron with another inferno but this one is a vehicon general so to summerize universe inferno:
- he is another bw inferno from another reality
- His body is just a dead red alert that is bassically rid2001 prowl but with red alert's colours
- he now devoted his life to his new queen optimus primal
( i understand if you dont like this or you are confused but trust me this was the most simplest way to explain it)

If im correct scorponok also had a laser tail, and i found the clip where tigertron froze scorponok, and when you gonna cover season 2, are you gonna cover ravage and transmutated ?

As for Scorponok I don't think that's correct, he did attack with the tail a few times, but I don't believe it had a laser.
Hey perspective quick question what do u do when you can’t find a figure? I can’t seem to find my terrosaur and I looked everywhere
I tend to have 3 places where I keep all my figures, so if I don't tend to have that problem, now accessories, that does throw me for a loop, and I don't have a good answer.

You should do these for other series of TF
The problem with other TF Series, is that the 1 there are WAY more characters, and 2 the power levels are WAY more drastically different. Like how do I compare Optimus's Strength to say Omega Supreme. Compared to him, everyone else is like a 1 in strength, and then you got Unicron.

A G1 version of this could be interesting. Example: Jetfire is a scientist with a cargo carrier jet alt mode, so high tactics. He has a huge double barrel, plus an arm blade and rockets, so high to mid weaponry. Based off of the move he did in G1 with the minicons, around middling skill. Strength is probably his worst though, since he is grounded multiple times.
It could be interesting but it would also be very had to do, because fights were typically less clearly defined. Like what side was winning or loosing and why was difficult to Gauge.
