You could say his half of Rampage's became his own when the half that Rampage still had was destroyed when Rampage was killed by Depth Charge, but maybe that is too far-fetched, I'm just basing that on that one scene with Dinobot 2 right when Rampage gets killed

In other words the link between the 2 is severed/cut off. And whether or nor the events of Dark Glass occurred or not would be a factor in establishing an identity of sorts for the clone. He would have his own growth separate from the original. While trying to reconcile his memories implanted in to him ON TOP of being freed from Megatron's control. I overall would have found that to be very interesting to see. Considering also the original Dinobot would as you said want to remain dead and stay that way.
The toyline suggested that Inferno and Quickstrike are in Beast machines. Inferno was turned into Scavenger and is the only Vehicon who kept his original persona. And Quickstrike came back as a Maximal, somehow, a wolf, somehow, and is now a solitary sniper who is cordial with Blackarachnia again, somehow.
The beast machines finale, specifically the final scene would basically include Tigatron either jumping for joy, or giving like a little sigh of satisfaction of sorts.
A nice plot beat for Airrazor in BM would be her semi familial connection to Rhinox. He put such risk to save her life, she could've perhaps swayed his views while he was Tankor to remember what he once truly valued.
I wasn't expecting you to talk about the possibility of Transmutate being brought back in BM, I could see them trying to get both sides to work together and suggesting making Cybertron technorganic, instead of either all organic, or all mechanical, I think that's what Transmutate would try to do to seek peace and balance
I'd Assign Quickstrike to Spy Streak. The asymmetrical claw/missile launcher just feels right. Scorponok would be right at home in Scavenger. Tarantulas in Mirage Rampage in Blastcharge.
I think bringing back depth charge without rampage would be best, his character arc would have been to find a reason to keep living, bring the two back just for them to fight again...
Actually, I think that if you DID resurrect Dinobot in Beast Machines, the best way to do it…would be for Megatron to be the one who pulled his spark out of the afterlife and forced him to puppet a new lifeless Vehicon body. That sounds pretty in character for Beast Megs in all honesty, after all; since when has he EVER cared about honor? If he found a way to resurrect someone who he considered a worthwhile asset, he’d do it in a heartbeat, regardless of whether the unlucky spark liked it or not. Need any more proof? Go ask Silverbolt, Waspinator, Rhinox (twice), the entire population of Cybertron and all the Dinobot clones he made during the Beast Wars. And if he got reformatted by Primal later on, he’d probably want revenge for being forcibly pulled out of the Allspark. Which come to think of it, would not only have him take over Silverbolt’s role in the show but would also make him the Beast Machines equivalent to Depth Charge, except he’s far more comfortable working alongside the Maximals from time to time (A doubly hilarious idea considering the fact that D.C. was basically the Wolverine of Beast Wars and Scott McNeil actually played Logan in X-Men Evolution). Heck, imagine Dinobot pulling an Edmond Dantes and dismantling the Vehicon Empire so badly, that Megs starts having nightmares. Also, I’d reformat him into a Dilophosaurs. Because the idea and image of a warrior poet spitting literal venom at his opponents both fits his character and sounds like a whole lot of fun! As for how his story would end, I’d imagine that he’d probably sneak his way into the final fight between Primal and Optimal Megs, stab Megs in the spark chamber and follow Primal into the planet’s core. Ether that or have him act as a Prowl or Kup role for Cheetor a bit before the finale and lead up to him making Chopper Face co-leader of Cybertron with him. There’s other stuff I’d like to go into too, but that’s all I’ve got for now!
Or have it be that Starscream and Terrorsaur's sparks became 1 kinda like Tigerhaw, but have him be his own independent person like Treize in Gundam Wing
The whole thing with Dinobot would work perfectly if it's Megatron reviving him. What better way to get revenge and punish Dinobot than to revive him and force him to serve Megatron as a Vehicon, only for the Maximals to eventually save him like they did Silverbolt?
Who would’ve thought, that if transmutation had been brought back in beast machines, the beast wars and beast machines versions of silver bolt wouldn’t have been so different.
A thought on Dinobot's return. What if its temporary by his own choosing? Dinobot declining this second chance as he is at peace but returns temporarily to turn the tides for the Maxamals. The team is unaware either for most of the show or until the very end where Dinobot simply fades away after maybe passing on some wisdom or hashing out somethings with the other Maxamals.
Here's an idea for Airazor and Tigatron, what if their new bodies had the ability to merge, like a combiner? Since they were turned into a fuzor on Earth their sparks have an affinity for each other even when separated, and their new bodies can combine into a more powerful form. Like, if they merge in beast mode they can become something like a Griffin, and if they merge in robot mode they'd have physical strength to rival huge bruisers like Tankor or Strika.
I feel like most of the Predacons in this video that were defeated in beast wars, that would theoretically be brought back for beast machines, wind up as free agents for some reason.
For Rampage, I can easily see him becoming a vehicon but, once given his old personality back, he'd go absolutely ballistic and perhaps even join the maximals, which could lead to some very interesting developments for Depth Charge

Scorponok: would ideally end up as the poor spark used to power Vehicon Scavenger Terrorsaur: gets reformatted into a BW toy colors recolor of Skydive; becomes the Vegeta of the Maximals (an angsty jerk who loosens up as time goes on) Airazor/Tigatron/Tigerhawk: hear me out. Airazor and Tigatron come back… and so does Tigerhawk, stripped of his ethereal powers and unsure of his identity; this results in Airazor and Tigatron helping their “son” find himself (something I know Tigatron would be game for) Dinobot: No. Just no. But if he must come back, have him lead a new band of Dinobots (which wouldn’t have been hard, just bring in T-Wrecks from the toyline and throw in “Maximal” Terrorsaur) Tarantulas: tricks Nightscream into letting him get reformatted (taking advantage of the batbot’s naïveté) and then tries to turn Cybertron technoorganic… in the most extreme way possible, allowing Primal to see his folly earlier Rampage: becomes a hostile third party to both sides; ends up with a mangled crab mode and a Tank Drone tank mode Depth Charge: hates Primal for letting Megatron escape and annihilate Cybertron’s population; becomes a non-Vehicon antagonist Inferno: reformatted into either toy colors Tankor or Blastcharge; loyal to his Queen until the end Quickstrike: reformatted into just a snake (recolor of Night Viper; based on Silverbolt being just a bird instead of a Fuzor); terrified of the Vehicons and sides with the Maximals out of fear
Something TJ Omega could've mentioned would be what the revived character bodies would look like. What kind of tank would Rampage turn into for example? A new design or based off an existing mold is what I'm getting at. That could be a nice Part 2 video.
The idea running through my head is a season 1 Primal specifically bringing back Rampage to use as a weapon. An unstoppable berserker to throw at the Vehicons to dwindle thsir numbers. But that raises a question, does Rampage actually feed on fear? Would he "starve" because drones dont feel? Or would Megatron himself becomes the greatest feast as the unstoppable crab monster stalks his world?
I feel like Ravage would absolutely agree to a tech-organic Cybertron. But if he was reformatted would he be a Cheetor repaint but a black panther instead.
This highly imaginative in-depth sharing definitely adds interesting layers to the 'what if' element of BM as it should have been! PS. The mixed bag of toys we got in the past had generated a lot of possibilities on their own, truth be told (for instance the on-screen departures and Silverbolt's seemingly intended 'Griffin Mode'. Just imagine if fan envisioning like this one became the basis of an entire new toy line in the future! 😊
If Dinobot were to be brought back in beast machines, think about how the dread wing and sky quake relationship would have basically mirrored Dinobot’s return. Minus the whole dark Energon zombie thing from prime.
Now that you say this concept I totally would have loved to have seen all this. Having Terrorsaur switch sides out of survival and Ravage due to BW Megatron's insanity switch as well while Silverbolt and Rhinox are brought to Megatron's side could be pretty interesting in of itself. Inferno struggling with his loyalties due to fixed logic would be a great storyline. One detail which could be interesting to cover is Dinobot II. Like, would his half of the spark come back to Rampage/ Or rather his spark being used to bring Rampage back since Rampage's spark was extinguished. Would be crazy if all of these guys came back in a story like a comic or something, perhaps due to some Transwarp and Spark intermingling shenanigans, maybe due to Starscream's Spark screwing things up.
Love triangle Transmutate? Nah. Transmutate being an adoptive daughter for Bolt & Nia? That’s more interesting/wholesome and a surefire way to get Bolt back out of his “Dark Knight” funk
Ravage was actually resurrected by magmatron in idws earlier beast wars comics and worked with the maximals to stop the new heralds of unicron Also for dinobot,if he had to be brought back, would have a simlar personality to BM silverbolt but modified so he would be proud but still tramatised by his death as you would expect from anyone.He might also be ashamed and feel his honour has been tarnished. Maybe rattrap would help him through it ?
There is an interesting subplot they could have explored. What if there was a realm in between life and rejoining the Matrix for those sparks? Imagine Primal being able to commune with some of those characters during Beast Machines.
I'm having a hard time picturing Depth Charge being around mostly because of his altmode. On Earth it worked because there was enough water for him to swim in, and he had a flight mode so his altmode wasn't useless when not near water. Presumably a reformatted Depth Charge wouldn't have the flight in beast mode, and there wasn't really enough water around for a techno-organic Manta Ray to be feasible. He'd probably have to get a new animal to be practical, but if he isn't aquatic anymore his name no longer makes sense. I have no idea what new animal he could become that would fit the character.
Hey dont forget for a short while tigatron and airrazor were idols/role models to cheetor alongside primal, so if Tigatron goes the zealot deep end airrazor and cheetor would be trying to bring them both out of it, Tigatron almost a big brother to cheetor as well
I just realized that beast machines gave me the Transformers character that I’ve been looking for. Even if it’s a reformatted character from beast wars. That’s old rat trap. I will say this. it’s only the robot mode that’s on wheels, and not the alternate mode that I was exactly looking for, because it is just a reformatted rat trap by the Oracle super computer, but oh well. I’ll take it, for now.
What if Depth Charge came back and Rampage was now part of his psyche, ala Arkham Knight's Joker, and he's constantly tormenting him, trying to get him to become the same monster he was?
I could see the Tripredacus Council giving Ravage a device which put on a drone he isolated and it forces the drone to robot mode and then the head changes as Tarantulas takes full control over as his head replaces the drone head.
I have a whole thing for Dinobot 2 if in Beast Machines. It is years old and I don't wanna repeat too much, but I wish this video touched on it. That being Dinobot 2 sorta paved the way for the Vehicons. The way he was under Megatron's control, but then rebelled right at the brink of victory was what pushed Megatron to go for all drones be the slave hive mind. And Dinobot 2 himself being a hollow entity, would have the new purpose to liberate Cybertron from the treatment and how he was born and all. That is my simplified pitch compared to 2018 when it was more stretched out.
I did something a little different and looked to the toyline for ideas of the characters who would most likely be brought back and how. For the Maximals I think Terrorsaur is the most likely to actually be brought back because Skydive exists with the same beast mode. Not only is it the same beast mode but he has some similar design ques to the Transmetal Terrorsaur in robot mode. This makes me think he was actually intended to be the same character. How exactly he'd be brought back I don't know but I assume he'd join the Maximals simply because of having a Technorganic body and not wanting to have his spark ripped out by Megatron. He might not be totally "good" exactly and I could see him still having some Predacon traits at first but it'd be in his own best interest to team with the Maximals and this could lead to some potential character growth over time where he eventually decides Terrorsaur doesn't really suit him anymore and changes his name to Skydive. The next most likely to join the Maximals is Quickstrike and there's a couple ways they could go about this. There is literally a Beast Machines Quickstrike who transforms into a wolf. I don't know why he's a wolf but he is. Reading the toy bio I don't think he's intended to be the same character and is just a name dump but that could always be changed for the show. The other option to keep some semblance of his original beast mode is Night Viper, that way he still at least has his cobra alt mode even if he's no longer a Fuzor. Considering he originally was a Meximal protoform anyway I don't think it'd be too hard to explain why he'd join them though with either beast mode idea I think he'd have to first be brought back as a Vehicon and rescan a new beast mode on Cybertron the way Silverbolt did. Then we have Depth Charge who could be brought back as Hammerstrike. It's not really the same as his original beast mode however Hammerstrike does resemble the Transtech design for Depth Charge which make me think they were already going in that direction. Again I honestly think he'd be brought back as a Vehicon first and rescan a new beast mode on Cybertron to explain the new beast mode. A couple honorable mentions that COULD happen but aren't likely, in order from most likely to least likely. Ravage would could just be Nightshash Cheetor. There seems to be a theme that every Cheetor has a black repaint at some point so I wouldn't put it past them to reuse that design as Ravage. Maybe without the cheetah spots so it looks more like Ravage and less like Cheetor with his colors reversed. Next is Tigatron who could also be a Cheetor repaint. It's worth noting that the Nightslash mold isn't as lanky as his character model so could theoretically work as a tiger. They could also alter the animation model for the show and make it shorter and bulkier to work for a tiger the same way their season 1 designs were done. Then there's Airazor who they could actually made from Silverbolt though changing his proportions a bit to make the model look more feminine. Inferno would could be retooled from the Buzzsaw mold to make that wasp into an ant. And finally Tarantulus who they'd have to figure out how to bulk up from Blackarachnia to make it a more masculine design. I doubt they'd do all these repaints/remolds of existing characters. Especially Tarantulus cause even if he was some how brought back I can't imagine him joining the Maximals. Of all the Predacons I have the hardest time picturing him swapping sides. For the Vehicons I'm going to work my way backwards using the potential Vehicons and which sparks could potentially be them. Mirage: Tigertron, because nothing else really fits. Inferno partly because nothing else really fits and because I think it'd be funny to see him go from one G1 Autobot name to another. Ravage because notching else really fits. Scavenger: Dinobot, mostly because the Dawn of Future's past Dinobot has the same vehicle mode. Scorponok because I think the vehicle mode has a similar profile to his original beast mode. Quickstrike for the same reason as Scorponok. SpyStreak: Airazor so she remains a flyer. Depth Charge because the mold could potentially be retooled into a submarine. Transmutate because I wanted to keep her asymmetrical design and this is the only Vehicon that lets me do that. Terrorsaur just to keep him a flyer. Blastcharge: Deptch Charge because the robot mode has a similar profile. Tarantulus going from a beast with multiple legs to a vehicle with multiple wheels. Rampage because he was kind of a tank already. While the Vehicon personalities tend to be complete opposites from the original I guess I'll go over them really quick anyway. Dinobot I think would just be TM2 Dinobot all over again which wouldn't be very interesting. There's honestly no reason to bring him back at all since we've already seen this happen once before. I put him up there as a possibility but honestly I don't think he should ever come back because there's nothing else you can do with him that hasn't been done before. Tigatron and Airazor were both more in tune with nature so making them Vehicons with the totally opposite personalities would frankly make them the perfect soldiers for Megatron. I did separate them again rather than keeping the fused spark of Tigerhawk cause nothing in Beast Machines really fits both characters at the same time. Depth Charge considering his original personality was hyper focused on one goal and didn't work well as part of a team I think his Vehicon personality wouldn't be able to focus at all. He would be more of a team player but would constantly forget what he was suppose to be doing. Or maybe he'd be really good at multitasking making it really easy for him to command the drones but it'd be difficult for him to focus on a single task. Transmutate, because her original personality talked so slowly and hardly at all her Vehicon personality might be a fast talker who never shuts up. Scorponok because he was naturally loyal to Megatron in the first place I don't think he'd change at all, he'd actually just be Scorponok, he might change his name because he no longer has that Beast mode but he'd be exactly like he was in Beast Wars. No need to alter his personality when he's naturally loyal from the start. Terrorsaur, since his original personality was basically Starscream I kind of imagine his Vehicon personality would basically be the same Energon Starscream. Tarantulus, similar to how Rhinox was made into an idiot, Tarantulus being the other scientist character would likely also be effected in the same way. Also I kind of imagine he'd sound depressed to counter act the original cackling so much. Inferno, also being loyal to Megatron however because he's loyal for a different reason and Megatron was always super annoyed with being called "my queen" all the time, I don't think he'd keep that personality. He'd still be fiercely loyal but not psychotic, he could actually be reasoned with by the Maximals. I think he'd be far less chaotic and more of a calm and calculating villain. Quickstrike... um... honestly making him the opposite of what he was would turn him into a pacifist. Maybe he'd end up helping or replacing the Diagnostic drone rather than fighting Maximals. Rampage also feels like he'd turn into a pacifist if his personality was reversed wanting to heal rather than cause harm. I kind of doubt they'd bring Rampage back at all honestly because he doesn't work as a Maximal or a Vehicon. Quickstrike at least has potential to be a Vehicon medic and then potential switch sides joining the Maximals but Rampage would just fill the same role while also being super depressed because he cackled a lot while hurting people so Vehicon Rampage would be a healer and be sad about it. Ravage I don't think actually works as a Vehicon because I don't think his original personality would stay loyal to Megatron and changing his personality would just make him incompetent. If he did keep his original personality something interesting they could potentially do with him is having him act loyal to Megatron while actually being a double agent working with the Maximals.
I gotta disagree about Dinobot. I could see him coming back of his own volition just to help his friends because it's the honorable thing to do. He is a warrior, and there's a new war to be joined with friends he knows. He would find it dishonorable to *not* help Primal and the other Maximals. And he is very spiritual so he would quickly adapt to his new transorganic body, possibly better than Primal did.
I always thought it would have been cooler if Thrust had been Dinobot instead of Waspinator. It would have still been a cool twist if BA had been expecting Silverbolt and got Dionobot instead. But much less silly than Waspy.
From my watch of it late last year, Armada gets good around episode 30. That show really needed an extra year in the oven early on with how the first half is so aimless.
Ah, no love for Tigerhawk or Dinobot II? I think you're right with how Tigatron would fit into the narrative, that'd be cool to see. And Depth Charge having to figure out living beyond revenge could've also been a fascinating arc. I could see a chilling moment where Megatron has used Scorpnok for a bunch of bio weapons, then when he doesn't need him anymore has to destroy him because of his organic xenophobia. And Scorponok being completely blindsided by it all.
Tigerhawk is a fusion with Airrazor. And Tigatron was the one in charge. And Dinobot II is essentially the originals reincarnation once Rampage died. So in time he would likely be the same character only bonier.
I could maybe see Terrorsaur as a Vehicon deciding Megatron is too powerful to go after but constantly jockeying for supremacy among the other generals
What if Tiverton and airazor's sparks did not want to separate and remained as tiger hawk? How would they fit into beast machines? As far as inferno goes, I don't think he would be insane if given a new protocol and brought back by maximal because remember he was captured by the predators and his circuits rewritten and I think his chamber was slightly damaged so that's what gave him his personality. My biggest issue with beast machines, besides the story was the way they changed the animation and look of the characters. I thought the redesigns were ugly for the maximals
Funnily enough, the Beast Machines toyline included both a Maximal named Quickstrike (an intelligent but antisocial wolf and stealth operative) and a Maximal with a cobra altmode named Night Viper (a super-speedy stealth expert who could absorb and redirect energy attacks).
What if both sides did what Megatron did to create the vehicon grenals, and they brought back everyone and they could be redesigned to be the transtech designs
Honestly I think Rampage would join the Maximals. You could say the All Spark healed his spark and made him sane. He is gifted to Primal to give them a lot of fire power.
So does your thoughts on Dinobot extend to Dinobot 2? I feel the clone himself if he came back would have a chance to grow and all past what he was in BW.
What if Starscream's mutant spark had followed them back? He comes back for a second attack but sees the Autobot shuttle leaving for the future (the Maximals' present) and tags along.
I'd argue that Depth Charge would be more interesting without Rampage. What does a revenge obsessed being do when that revenge is fulfilled? Does he become suicidal? Does he find a new obsession? Does he find a reason to live?
I doubt you could actually introduced some thing like “Dinobot 3“ into beast machines, and not have the exact same disgraceful/dishonorable feeling that the character would have throughout beast machines. Now, if he joined his original name sakes, that would really be interesting.
The nagging thought in my mind has long been "what if Dinobot 2 survived"? Yes there was a flash of og Dinobot near the end of him, but DB2 was enough of his own being that a fresh take could still have happened w/out spitting on Og Dinobot's legacy.
Or he could've taken his place in Beast Machines. He already knows Megatron has no honor... and would gladly join a fight against him with the Neo Maximals.

I seriously hated beast machines so much I try to forget it’s existence. Hasbro took everything that made Beast Wars the epic show it was, and butchered it with BM. I like to pretend BM never happened and it was just a bad dream Rattrap had on the way back to cybertron. But man what I would give for a real Beast Wars season 4 right after Nemesis part 2.
Not particularly related to this video, but I don't understand the hate towards Beast Machines. I get the designs are not very pleasing, but as far as the storyline goes, it's wonderful in many of the ways that BW became as it got deeper into itself. I think it's brilliant and is another example of the BW world being the best storytelling we have had jn Transformers.

Well, that was interesting. PD: i know you hate beast machines, but i think is not a bad show. Is an enjoyable show but with so many problems as you said.
A Beast Machines Transmutate that serves as both or either a non-binary or neurodiverse character would have been interesting. Nightshade was the first explicitly NB cybertronian in cartoon media but having a character that uses "it/its" pronouns and doesn't consider itself to be any gender could be a neat little exploration of what it means to be cybertronian. If one wants Transmutate to be a female character, having her act as a daughter figure to Silverbolt and Blackarachnia would be at least something we haven't seen before.

That sounds pretty in character for Beast Megs in all honesty, after all; since when has he EVER cared about honor? If he found a way to resurrect someone who he considered a worthwhile asset, he’d do it in a heartbeat, regardless of whether the unlucky spark liked it or not.
Need any more proof? Go ask Silverbolt, Waspinator, Rhinox (twice), the entire population of Cybertron and all the Dinobot clones he made during the Beast Wars.
And if he got reformatted by Primal later on, he’d probably want revenge for being forcibly pulled out of the Allspark. Which come to think of it, would not only have him take over Silverbolt’s role in the show but would also make him the Beast Machines equivalent to Depth Charge, except he’s far more comfortable working alongside the Maximals from time to time (A doubly hilarious idea considering the fact that D.C. was basically the Wolverine of Beast Wars and Scott McNeil actually played Logan in X-Men Evolution).
Heck, imagine Dinobot pulling an Edmond Dantes and dismantling the Vehicon Empire so badly, that Megs starts having nightmares.
Also, I’d reformat him into a Dilophosaurs. Because the idea and image of a warrior poet spitting literal venom at his opponents both fits his character and sounds like a whole lot of fun!
As for how his story would end, I’d imagine that he’d probably sneak his way into the final fight between Primal and Optimal Megs, stab Megs in the spark chamber and follow Primal into the planet’s core. Ether that or have him act as a Prowl or Kup role for Cheetor a bit before the finale and lead up to him making Chopper Face co-leader of Cybertron with him.
There’s other stuff I’d like to go into too, but that’s all I’ve got for now!
For Terrorsaur, I would basically have him be possessed by the mutant spark of old screamer for the whole entire show.
I could see terrorsaur being a prototype for Armada Starscream maybe?
Or have it be that Starscream and Terrorsaur's sparks became 1 kinda like Tigerhaw, but have him be his own independent person like Treize in Gundam Wing
The whole thing with Dinobot would work perfectly if it's Megatron reviving him. What better way to get revenge and punish Dinobot than to revive him and force him to serve Megatron as a Vehicon, only for the Maximals to eventually save him like they did Silverbolt?
Who would’ve thought, that if transmutation had been brought back in beast machines, the beast wars and beast machines versions of silver bolt wouldn’t have been so different.
A thought on Dinobot's return. What if its temporary by his own choosing? Dinobot declining this second chance as he is at peace but returns temporarily to turn the tides for the Maxamals. The team is unaware either for most of the show or until the very end where Dinobot simply fades away after maybe passing on some wisdom or hashing out somethings with the other Maxamals.
Here's an idea for Airazor and Tigatron, what if their new bodies had the ability to merge, like a combiner? Since they were turned into a fuzor on Earth their sparks have an affinity for each other even when separated, and their new bodies can combine into a more powerful form. Like, if they merge in beast mode they can become something like a Griffin, and if they merge in robot mode they'd have physical strength to rival huge bruisers like Tankor or Strika.
I feel like most of the Predacons in this video that were defeated in beast wars, that would theoretically be brought back for beast machines, wind up as free agents for some reason.
For Rampage, I can easily see him becoming a vehicon but, once given his old personality back, he'd go absolutely ballistic and perhaps even join the maximals, which could lead to some very interesting developments for Depth Charge
I’d bring in Airazor, Tigatron, Inferno, maybe Terrorsaur, maybe even Dinobot, and I guess Transmutate as well!!
(And probably even both Depthcharge and his nemesis, Protoform X aka Rampage too lol)
Scorponok: would ideally end up as the poor spark used to power Vehicon Scavenger
Terrorsaur: gets reformatted into a BW toy colors recolor of Skydive; becomes the Vegeta of the Maximals (an angsty jerk who loosens up as time goes on)
Airazor/Tigatron/Tigerhawk: hear me out. Airazor and Tigatron come back… and so does Tigerhawk, stripped of his ethereal powers and unsure of his identity; this results in Airazor and Tigatron helping their “son” find himself (something I know Tigatron would be game for)
Dinobot: No. Just no. But if he must come back, have him lead a new band of Dinobots (which wouldn’t have been hard, just bring in T-Wrecks from the toyline and throw in “Maximal” Terrorsaur)
Tarantulas: tricks Nightscream into letting him get reformatted (taking advantage of the batbot’s naïveté) and then tries to turn Cybertron technoorganic… in the most extreme way possible, allowing Primal to see his folly earlier
Rampage: becomes a hostile third party to both sides; ends up with a mangled crab mode and a Tank Drone tank mode
Depth Charge: hates Primal for letting Megatron escape and annihilate Cybertron’s population; becomes a non-Vehicon antagonist
Inferno: reformatted into either toy colors Tankor or Blastcharge; loyal to his Queen until the end
Quickstrike: reformatted into just a snake (recolor of Night Viper; based on Silverbolt being just a bird instead of a Fuzor); terrified of the Vehicons and sides with the Maximals out of fear

Something TJ Omega could've mentioned would be what the revived character bodies would look like. What kind of tank would Rampage turn into for example? A new design or based off an existing mold is what I'm getting at. That could be a nice Part 2 video.
The idea running through my head is a season 1 Primal specifically bringing back Rampage to use as a weapon. An unstoppable berserker to throw at the Vehicons to dwindle thsir numbers.
But that raises a question, does Rampage actually feed on fear? Would he "starve" because drones dont feel? Or would Megatron himself becomes the greatest feast as the unstoppable crab monster stalks his world?
I feel like Ravage would absolutely agree to a tech-organic Cybertron. But if he was reformatted would he be a Cheetor repaint but a black panther instead.
An interesting plot twist is if Rampage decided to throw in with the Maximals, forcing Depth Charge to jump ship.
This highly imaginative in-depth sharing definitely adds interesting layers to the 'what if' element of BM as it should have been!
PS. The mixed bag of toys we got in the past had generated a lot of possibilities on their own, truth be told (for instance the on-screen departures and Silverbolt's seemingly intended 'Griffin Mode'. Just imagine if fan envisioning like this one became the basis of an entire new toy line in the future! 😊
If Dinobot were to be brought back in beast machines, think about how the dread wing and sky quake relationship would have basically mirrored Dinobot’s return. Minus the whole dark Energon zombie thing from prime.
Now that you say this concept I totally would have loved to have seen all this. Having Terrorsaur switch sides out of survival and Ravage due to BW Megatron's insanity switch as well while Silverbolt and Rhinox are brought to Megatron's side could be pretty interesting in of itself.
Inferno struggling with his loyalties due to fixed logic would be a great storyline.
One detail which could be interesting to cover is Dinobot II. Like, would his half of the spark come back to Rampage/ Or rather his spark being used to bring Rampage back since Rampage's spark was extinguished.
Would be crazy if all of these guys came back in a story like a comic or something, perhaps due to some Transwarp and Spark intermingling shenanigans, maybe due to Starscream's Spark screwing things up.
Love triangle Transmutate? Nah. Transmutate being an adoptive daughter for Bolt & Nia? That’s more interesting/wholesome and a surefire way to get Bolt back out of his “Dark Knight” funk
Ravage was actually resurrected by magmatron in idws earlier beast wars comics and worked with the maximals to stop the new heralds of unicron
Also for dinobot,if he had to be brought back, would have a simlar personality to BM silverbolt but modified so he would be proud but still tramatised by his death as you would expect from anyone.He might also be ashamed and feel his honour has been tarnished. Maybe rattrap would help him through it ?
There is an interesting subplot they could have explored. What if there was a realm in between life and rejoining the Matrix for those sparks? Imagine Primal being able to commune with some of those characters during Beast Machines.
I'm having a hard time picturing Depth Charge being around mostly because of his altmode. On Earth it worked because there was enough water for him to swim in, and he had a flight mode so his altmode wasn't useless when not near water. Presumably a reformatted Depth Charge wouldn't have the flight in beast mode, and there wasn't really enough water around for a techno-organic Manta Ray to be feasible. He'd probably have to get a new animal to be practical, but if he isn't aquatic anymore his name no longer makes sense. I have no idea what new animal he could become that would fit the character.
Maybe they can do like Sky byte and just let him fly.
Hey dont forget for a short while tigatron and airrazor were idols/role models to cheetor alongside primal, so if Tigatron goes the zealot deep end airrazor and cheetor would be trying to bring them both out of it, Tigatron almost a big brother to cheetor as well
I just realized that beast machines gave me the Transformers character that I’ve been looking for. Even if it’s a reformatted character from beast wars. That’s old rat trap. I will say this. it’s only the robot mode that’s on wheels, and not the alternate mode that I was exactly looking for, because it is just a reformatted rat trap by the Oracle super computer, but oh well. I’ll take it, for now.
What if Depth Charge came back and Rampage was now part of his psyche, ala Arkham Knight's Joker, and he's constantly tormenting him, trying to get him to become the same monster he was?
I actually think that Megatron could genuinely happy to see Scorponok back, i would like to see the two again and their interactions.
I could see the Tripredacus Council giving Ravage a device which put on a drone he isolated and it forces the drone to robot mode and then the head changes as Tarantulas takes full control over as his head replaces the drone head.
I have a whole thing for Dinobot 2 if in Beast Machines. It is years old and I don't wanna repeat too much, but I wish this video touched on it.
That being Dinobot 2 sorta paved the way for the Vehicons. The way he was under Megatron's control, but then rebelled right at the brink of victory was what pushed Megatron to go for all drones be the slave hive mind.
And Dinobot 2 himself being a hollow entity, would have the new purpose to liberate Cybertron from the treatment and how he was born and all.
That is my simplified pitch compared to 2018 when it was more stretched out.
I feel like rampage would be the Beast machines equivalent to transformers prime Starscream from the second season of that show.
I did something a little different and looked to the toyline for ideas of the characters who would most likely be brought back and how.
For the Maximals I think Terrorsaur is the most likely to actually be brought back because Skydive exists with the same beast mode. Not only is it the same beast mode but he has some similar design ques to the Transmetal Terrorsaur in robot mode. This makes me think he was actually intended to be the same character. How exactly he'd be brought back I don't know but I assume he'd join the Maximals simply because of having a Technorganic body and not wanting to have his spark ripped out by Megatron. He might not be totally "good" exactly and I could see him still having some Predacon traits at first but it'd be in his own best interest to team with the Maximals and this could lead to some potential character growth over time where he eventually decides Terrorsaur doesn't really suit him anymore and changes his name to Skydive.
The next most likely to join the Maximals is Quickstrike and there's a couple ways they could go about this. There is literally a Beast Machines Quickstrike who transforms into a wolf. I don't know why he's a wolf but he is. Reading the toy bio I don't think he's intended to be the same character and is just a name dump but that could always be changed for the show. The other option to keep some semblance of his original beast mode is Night Viper, that way he still at least has his cobra alt mode even if he's no longer a Fuzor. Considering he originally was a Meximal protoform anyway I don't think it'd be too hard to explain why he'd join them though with either beast mode idea I think he'd have to first be brought back as a Vehicon and rescan a new beast mode on Cybertron the way Silverbolt did.
Then we have Depth Charge who could be brought back as Hammerstrike. It's not really the same as his original beast mode however Hammerstrike does resemble the Transtech design for Depth Charge which make me think they were already going in that direction. Again I honestly think he'd be brought back as a Vehicon first and rescan a new beast mode on Cybertron to explain the new beast mode.
A couple honorable mentions that COULD happen but aren't likely, in order from most likely to least likely.
Ravage would could just be Nightshash Cheetor. There seems to be a theme that every Cheetor has a black repaint at some point so I wouldn't put it past them to reuse that design as Ravage. Maybe without the cheetah spots so it looks more like Ravage and less like Cheetor with his colors reversed.
Next is Tigatron who could also be a Cheetor repaint. It's worth noting that the Nightslash mold isn't as lanky as his character model so could theoretically work as a tiger. They could also alter the animation model for the show and make it shorter and bulkier to work for a tiger the same way their season 1 designs were done.
Then there's Airazor who they could actually made from Silverbolt though changing his proportions a bit to make the model look more feminine.
Inferno would could be retooled from the Buzzsaw mold to make that wasp into an ant.
And finally Tarantulus who they'd have to figure out how to bulk up from Blackarachnia to make it a more masculine design. I doubt they'd do all these repaints/remolds of existing characters. Especially Tarantulus cause even if he was some how brought back I can't imagine him joining the Maximals. Of all the Predacons I have the hardest time picturing him swapping sides.
For the Vehicons I'm going to work my way backwards using the potential Vehicons and which sparks could potentially be them.
Mirage: Tigertron, because nothing else really fits. Inferno partly because nothing else really fits and because I think it'd be funny to see him go from one G1 Autobot name to another. Ravage because notching else really fits.
Scavenger: Dinobot, mostly because the Dawn of Future's past Dinobot has the same vehicle mode. Scorponok because I think the vehicle mode has a similar profile to his original beast mode. Quickstrike for the same reason as Scorponok.
SpyStreak: Airazor so she remains a flyer. Depth Charge because the mold could potentially be retooled into a submarine. Transmutate because I wanted to keep her asymmetrical design and this is the only Vehicon that lets me do that. Terrorsaur just to keep him a flyer.
Blastcharge: Deptch Charge because the robot mode has a similar profile. Tarantulus going from a beast with multiple legs to a vehicle with multiple wheels. Rampage because he was kind of a tank already.
While the Vehicon personalities tend to be complete opposites from the original I guess I'll go over them really quick anyway.
Dinobot I think would just be TM2 Dinobot all over again which wouldn't be very interesting. There's honestly no reason to bring him back at all since we've already seen this happen once before. I put him up there as a possibility but honestly I don't think he should ever come back because there's nothing else you can do with him that hasn't been done before.
Tigatron and Airazor were both more in tune with nature so making them Vehicons with the totally opposite personalities would frankly make them the perfect soldiers for Megatron. I did separate them again rather than keeping the fused spark of Tigerhawk cause nothing in Beast Machines really fits both characters at the same time.
Depth Charge considering his original personality was hyper focused on one goal and didn't work well as part of a team I think his Vehicon personality wouldn't be able to focus at all. He would be more of a team player but would constantly forget what he was suppose to be doing. Or maybe he'd be really good at multitasking making it really easy for him to command the drones but it'd be difficult for him to focus on a single task.
Transmutate, because her original personality talked so slowly and hardly at all her Vehicon personality might be a fast talker who never shuts up.
Scorponok because he was naturally loyal to Megatron in the first place I don't think he'd change at all, he'd actually just be Scorponok, he might change his name because he no longer has that Beast mode but he'd be exactly like he was in Beast Wars. No need to alter his personality when he's naturally loyal from the start.
Terrorsaur, since his original personality was basically Starscream I kind of imagine his Vehicon personality would basically be the same Energon Starscream.
Tarantulus, similar to how Rhinox was made into an idiot, Tarantulus being the other scientist character would likely also be effected in the same way. Also I kind of imagine he'd sound depressed to counter act the original cackling so much.
Inferno, also being loyal to Megatron however because he's loyal for a different reason and Megatron was always super annoyed with being called "my queen" all the time, I don't think he'd keep that personality. He'd still be fiercely loyal but not psychotic, he could actually be reasoned with by the Maximals. I think he'd be far less chaotic and more of a calm and calculating villain.
Quickstrike... um... honestly making him the opposite of what he was would turn him into a pacifist. Maybe he'd end up helping or replacing the Diagnostic drone rather than fighting Maximals.
Rampage also feels like he'd turn into a pacifist if his personality was reversed wanting to heal rather than cause harm. I kind of doubt they'd bring Rampage back at all honestly because he doesn't work as a Maximal or a Vehicon. Quickstrike at least has potential to be a Vehicon medic and then potential switch sides joining the Maximals but Rampage would just fill the same role while also being super depressed because he cackled a lot while hurting people so Vehicon Rampage would be a healer and be sad about it.
Ravage I don't think actually works as a Vehicon because I don't think his original personality would stay loyal to Megatron and changing his personality would just make him incompetent. If he did keep his original personality something interesting they could potentially do with him is having him act loyal to Megatron while actually being a double agent working with the Maximals.
recently just finished rewatching the series, and it was way shorter then i thought it was, and i cant help but think of what i would do to the story
I gotta disagree about Dinobot. I could see him coming back of his own volition just to help his friends because it's the honorable thing to do. He is a warrior, and there's a new war to be joined with friends he knows. He would find it dishonorable to *not* help Primal and the other Maximals. And he is very spiritual so he would quickly adapt to his new transorganic body, possibly better than Primal did.
I still wish Terosaur came back as a transmetal.
I can see the original Dinobot being not the best call to bring back, but what about the Transmetal 2 clone of him?
I always thought it would have been cooler if Thrust had been Dinobot instead of Waspinator. It would have still been a cool twist if BA had been expecting Silverbolt and got Dionobot instead. But much less silly than Waspy.
I just got through Beast Wars, and Beast Machines and RID 01. But I can’t sit through Armada does it get better I am 20 episodes in.
From my watch of it late last year, Armada gets good around episode 30. That show really needed an extra year in the oven early on with how the first half is so aimless.

I think you're right with how Tigatron would fit into the narrative, that'd be cool to see. And Depth Charge having to figure out living beyond revenge could've also been a fascinating arc.
I could see a chilling moment where Megatron has used Scorpnok for a bunch of bio weapons, then when he doesn't need him anymore has to destroy him because of his organic xenophobia. And Scorponok being completely blindsided by it all.
Tigerhawk is a fusion with Airrazor. And Tigatron was the one in charge. And Dinobot II is essentially the originals reincarnation once Rampage died. So in time he would likely be the same character only bonier.
I could maybe see Terrorsaur as a Vehicon deciding Megatron is too powerful to go after but constantly jockeying for supremacy among the other generals
What if Tiverton and airazor's sparks did not want to separate and remained as tiger hawk? How would they fit into beast machines?
As far as inferno goes, I don't think he would be insane if given a new protocol and brought back by maximal because remember he was captured by the predators and his circuits rewritten and I think his chamber was slightly damaged so that's what gave him his personality.
My biggest issue with beast machines, besides the story was the way they changed the animation and look of the characters. I thought the redesigns were ugly for the maximals

Funnily enough, the Beast Machines toyline included both a Maximal named Quickstrike (an intelligent but antisocial wolf and stealth operative) and a Maximal with a cobra altmode named Night Viper (a super-speedy stealth expert who could absorb and redirect energy attacks).

Honestly I think Rampage would join the Maximals. You could say the All Spark healed his spark and made him sane. He is gifted to Primal to give them a lot of fire power.

I feel the clone himself if he came back would have a chance to grow and all past what he was in BW.
What if Starscream's mutant spark had followed them back? He comes back for a second attack but sees the Autobot shuttle leaving for the future (the Maximals' present) and tags along.
What about Dinobot 2? Do you think he would go the same way as Dinobot?
I'd argue that Depth Charge would be more interesting without Rampage. What does a revenge obsessed being do when that revenge is fulfilled? Does he become suicidal? Does he find a new obsession? Does he find a reason to live?
I doubt you could actually introduced some thing like “Dinobot 3“ into beast machines, and not have the exact same disgraceful/dishonorable feeling that the character would have throughout beast machines. Now, if he joined his original name sakes, that would really be interesting.
The nagging thought in my mind has long been "what if Dinobot 2 survived"? Yes there was a flash of og Dinobot near the end of him, but DB2 was enough of his own being that a fresh take could still have happened w/out spitting on Og Dinobot's legacy.
Or he could've taken his place in Beast Machines. He already knows Megatron has no honor... and would gladly join a fight against him with the Neo Maximals.

I think Terrorsaur would fit in with a similar arc to Starscream's in the Unicron trilogy.
I seriously hated beast machines so much I try to forget it’s existence. Hasbro took everything that made Beast Wars the epic show it was, and butchered it with BM. I like to pretend BM never happened and it was just a bad dream Rattrap had on the way back to cybertron. But man what I would give for a real Beast Wars season 4 right after Nemesis part 2.
Not particularly related to this video, but I don't understand the hate towards Beast Machines. I get the designs are not very pleasing, but as far as the storyline goes, it's wonderful in many of the ways that BW became as it got deeper into itself. I think it's brilliant and is another example of the BW world being the best storytelling we have had jn Transformers.

A Beast Machines Transmutate that serves as both or either a non-binary or neurodiverse character would have been interesting. Nightshade was the first explicitly NB cybertronian in cartoon media but having a character that uses "it/its" pronouns and doesn't consider itself to be any gender could be a neat little exploration of what it means to be cybertronian.
If one wants Transmutate to be a female character, having her act as a daughter figure to Silverbolt and Blackarachnia would be at least something we haven't seen before.
To be honest if everyone was added to beast machines it make it way better and I can give reason way but it's long
