Friend Tom that good memories bring me to my mind, to my 12 years as a child my grandfather took me camping and with all his patience and tranquility he taught me to cook in the camping. Nice heat control with the Solo stove. It is tricky for me to regulate the flame on those. Great example of how to do that with proper fuel feeding, and a great outdoors recipe to share. Thanks for posting!

When I lived in the UK,,we called the mushrooms {Oyster mushrooms} As you know, they grow on rotting tree stumps and logs. There are many dog lovers out there..who would love to see Cornelius..running around and growing up.

Tom, your part of the world looks a lot like mine. From the grasses, firs, to the ferns and mushrooms. The forests of the Pacific Northwest are so similar. We do have a few dormant volcanos that get in the way of a good day hike here and there. But, the two places on the globe produce such common sights. I’m enjoying the moss, too!

Looks like part of the time it was windy while you were cooking. Wrap a strip of aluminum foil around the pot stand's air holes and it will help decrease those "dancing flames". Keep the wood feed slot opening 90degrees to the wind.

.....funny you use a lighter on your pipe , but flint and steel on the wood stove.....by the way, we have Tuborg in the states , or did when I was younger .

Here to offer help.....as I said before, SEARCH WORDS are a key to new traffic thus subs, likes, shares, etc. If you want more $$$$ bring more viewers in with words THEY search. For example on this video: Bushcraft Cooking Bacon in pan Survival Gear Outdoors Coffee Pipe and Whiskey. You say....WOW that's a lot of words....I know...I know, words bring traffic. Cute little words that are not relevant in searches bring nothing....just trying to be helpful, as you know.
