Received a bottle of Redbreast 12 as a retirement gift, never really was a big fan of whiskey prior to this, and I really wasn't expecting much but when I sniffed it and swirled it and tasted it, wow what an amazing mouthful of tastes and sensations..been so long since anything quite like this so when I finish this bottle I will try the 15 year old, 21 year if I can ever find it.. this is something special folks!
I founded Redbreast 12 first underwhelming. Returned 6 months later to the bottle and this time i realize what all the hype was about. So its same as with wines: it needs to breath and be opened for a while before tasting its real notes. Smooth & complex, is all i can say about the redbreast 12. It has to be the most exciting whiskey i ever tasted!!
You must be swimming in dough man... but i know the feeling: during last month i must have spend atleast 300€ for different spirits. Propably close to 450. But Redbreast 21 is alone over 200€...
@@joonaslehtonen7965 I bought the 21y for only 160 euro. But I just bought a special dreamcast edition for 520 euro. ...By the way, I'm just a simple operator working in a factory. :-)
The Redbreast 12 cast strength is a "God" Whiskey, If they go well from here heaven knows what magical drams they will produce. The blossoming future of Irish whiskey is in good hands.
I had a bottle of this once. I still feel a sense of loss now that it is all gone. I even kept the empty bottle as a reminder of the best Irish whiskey I can remember consuming. It's hard to find here. Regards, Aussie whiskey drinker.
The best places in the world to buy Redbreast 12 are the airports at Shannon, Cork and Dublin where it currently costs E40. I'm buying a bottle next week. Yum !
What a load of talky bollock, apart from Priests Tipple having questionable coonotations, I still have no idea what this whiskey tastes like...red glow is it?

Absolutely
Just picked this one up at Dublin Airport 11/8/24,50€ ,Heading to Copenhagen Where I live (From Tramore)For a mate’s birthday,Hope he likes it.
The 12 Year Cask Strength is a truly world-class pour.
Bourbon & Rye is my sipper, and always will be, but bang for the buck, Redbreast 12 is about as good as it gets for Whiskey's across the pond.
