I don't know about remaking the videos, they are a lovely watch, look like they have a lot of effort put into them, and if anything such a quick addendum serves to display your meticulousness. Cheers!

    Permanent Alliances, eh?
Heh. I just thought back to the Drakken's ability to force treaties back in Endless Legend, and I just realized that would make "Force Alliance" have some pretty horrifying implications....

Useful patch. I did feel like everyone (including me) was getting economy victories far too quickly. There should be repercussions to leaving an alliance, as others have suggested. But AI players should also be more inclined to do the same if it serves their interests. In a multiplayer game, alliances are typically unions of convenience that don't necessarily survive an individual player's self-interest. If anything, ES2's diplomacy and victory systems mean the game is ready to have teams set at the game's start.

Question In each of the wonder victory condition sections, there are 4 rectangular boxes that are sometimes shaded and sometimes not. What are these boxes suppose to represent?

I don't suppose you know if dust inflation contributes to the economic victory threshold increasing? You can see dust inflation on the economy screen I believe and it slowly makes dust valued less over the course of the game. So buyouts cost more, and marketplace prices increase with relation to dust inflation, but I'm not sure if it is true for the victory condition.

If you want to keep alliances from being exploited just make it really costly to leave an alliance. Give it a large influence cost then give a huge negative hit to relationship with the other factions in the alliance.

waervyn, is there a maximum amount of factions that are allowed to be in your alliance? I played a game where there were 3 of us in an alliance (including me) and another faction kept 'dropping hints' that he wanted to join the alliance. But i couldn't invite him...

Does this still apply when empires get eliminated? The cap for alliances doesn't go down when empires start getting destroyed?

As far as I know it doesn't go down indeed!
