This dude is a fountain of knowledge!
This is some amazing information! Thanks so much for the vid. I will be calling Capt Beatson hopefully this year.
I’ve fished the outer banks since the late 60’s. This information is excellent! Great production!
this is god tier content, THANK YOU.
This is GOLD. Thanks, Captain!

So knowable. Super! Thanks
Awesome video! Would love to hear his thoughts on reel, rod, and line setups too.
Love this thank you
I love those lunker city jig heads!
Great show.
1st Keep up the great videos man!
Dang! I suck at fishing!😂 I hope this information provided in this video helps me next time I go! 😁 Thanks
Man oh man. I always find myself switching jig head weights not knowing what to go with. Nice little crash course there
Amazing how this is all identical to Texas flats fishing.
Wow this dude is knowledgeable
Man I bought the gulp shrimp but looks like everyone recommends the swimming mullet, back to the tackle shop. Learning a lot from these videos! Thanks!
I tell you what, I have used all kinds of baits and trout can be a little more particular than drum, but the 4-in white swimming mullet has snagged more fish for me than anything hands down. The four or five inch emerald shiner smelt gulp that comes in the red packaging with the brown disgusting juice is also pretty money. The one thing I will say is that I have tried various colors and the white or the white and gray combo just seems to have a tougher material. Colors like the chartreuse just seem to get tore up or disintegrate much quicker.
Personally, I like the Gulp Shrimp under a popping cork and the Gulp Swimming Mullet for jigging.
I would love to go fishing with you guys. If I ever can get a day off
thank you
Just found your channel. Great content. What kind/size of line in general do you use for fishing 1/4 oz jigs? Thanks
I want to get out and try some surf fishing or inshore kayak fishing, is there any spots you recommend right now, am in Virginia and am thinking about trying out Virginia beach this weekend
Hi. Nice video. I am only starting fishing and I have a question for anyone who sees it first. I noticed some soft baits come in some sort of greasy juice and others don’t. Is it ok to deposit at least those who don’t in a tackle box instead ? How about the other ones? Does it affect them if you take them out of the original bag?
Slam Shady color kills !!
Creole croaker my favorite color
A.M. fishing lures are the best
If only uk tackle shops were even half that size
