Mahomes isn't there yet but at 4 (with the 3-peat, otherwise 5) the ring's part of the argument is over. Ring count has always been and will always be a team stat. The difference in the Mahomes-Brady thing is stats. And at this point in their careers Mahomes claims all of the stat lines in his column while matching Brady in team and individual accolades.

My dad was a huge Montana fan and watched Tom Brady surpass the goat with his own eyes. Watched Brady's whole career. Now I see Brady as the goat but I'm watching pattys whole career and feel like him and Andy Reid are about to become the goats. I just don't see any other competition in the NFL for them.

Last year was the down year. The receivers were dropping passes, kelce was up and down, etc. now they got some more talent at wr to lean into pat being pat. I will never take the field until the field beats them.

Here is the thing, mahomes and chiefs went against teams loading up to stop chiefs. And we broke them. All the afc west teams got so many pass rushers.. got young players on offense.. west was loaded.. we went thru it.. bills went all in to stop us.. we shut them down.. it’s all about coaching…. Having Reid.. mastermind on offense.. then we picked up spags.. the defense is way better.. we talk 3-7th rounders and undrafted guys and turn them into good serviceable guys. 😊

Don't worry the Chiefs if nothing arises then they will take a small slight and make a mountain out of it and use it to fuel them to victory. It worked for Jordan it can work for Mahomes. We've seen Petty Pat come out a few times - like when he counted to 10 playing the bears for the first time or when he blew out a team lead by a guy who had been ranked as a better player than him and Mahomes counted to where he'd been ranked.
In the past it was dangerous for reid to let off the gas, they even lost games because of it, but with this new defense, he can get away with it more...

It doesnt make sense to answer that question right now. there are so many month ahead. every snap some pass rusher could mess up mahomes achilles, or ankle or whatever. every snap kelce could break an arm or whatever. so is so much time and so many chances for injuries and mistakes etc. once the play offs start we can look at what teams are in the game and what players are at their disposal

Then every off-season they can sprinkle in 3 to 5 free agents and the team builds around their talent. Teams, like any good business, take time to develop.
