It's fun watching a communal grow and amazing at how much faster they grow when kept in a communal vs alone. I have a communal of 8 and received them at 3rd instar. Amazing
Just wanted to say thanks for this channel. You have no idea how much you’ve helped me get over my fear of insects, in particular spiders. I’ve learned so much from you that I enjoy looking at spiders in the wild! I think the Dark Den is awesome!
Thank you for making such informative, and well put together videos. The fact that you actually show what your fans do for you speaks volumes on you as a person as well.Beautiful animal room setup!!!
The Nymphs need about a year to become adult after "hatching" and the males have a lifespan from half- to a 3/4 year while the females have about 1 year after they become adult. Some may live longer but many dont even reach that span. My very first died after the 3rd molt without reason. It's just nature, things happen. I'm glad you got some good "eggs" right there and that they are hatching :)
Sretan Bozic Petko !!! from your Canadian friends !!! thanx for curing me of arachnophobia . today my microscopic house spider ate/bundled up 3 springtails !!! he's so tiny I have to use a magnifying glass to see him. Cured. thank you.
I'm a snake collector but your videos give me a new respect for spiders. I had a pink toed tarantula I " inherited" from a late friend and she was a nice pet and got to have less fear of spiders but idk about owning another one I almost had a heart attack when she bit me. Until I found out it was really nothing of a bite
You and your balfouris basically convinced my buddy caleb and I to get a communal enclosure with 5 balfouris. Thanks dude 👍. Also your jungle nymphs are awesome, keep the vids coming man!
I have two balfouri's but they are slings. Almost juvi's. According to their legspan differences, i hope its male and female. But now i will be able to tell by their colors easily soon. Always learning something new from you. Thanks!
I do not keep any spiders or ts but found ur channel 6 months or so ago ever since I been hooked and watch every upload lol u seem such a nice genuine guy and ur vids are very interesting it’s nice to see so many subscribing one piece of advice ignore the idiots with negative comments etc no one is perfect and I can see u do ur best and care for all ur pets keep it up buddy
And most negative people don’t know there arse from there elbow and just jealous of ur success I have some questions to ask u il pm u on Facebook if I can hopefully u reply thanks bud
I think your English is very good, tho you may say the wrong words we can understand what your saying. I also find it funny you learned English from playing WoW my husband (Norwegian) also learned English from playing WoW.
For the Horde! Always enjoy your videos, beautiful creatures & big World of Warcraft gamer myself. Keep up the amazing work & Thank you for all your info & vids.
I can see both sides of the breeding 'problem'. B albops HF are Honduras but have been hybridised in the hobby for years as locality was not always recorded on batches coming into the UK etc, so in that respect pairing with the B albop NF is just continuing the Hobby Form line. HOWEVER, this sets back the future efforts of trying to create (re-create) two seperate lines of Honduras & Nicaragua types. Actively trying to identify each one the best we can and breed each line seperate seems the best option for future lines. Cross breeding seems a step backwards but the resulting offspring are a hybrid that already exists in the Hobby!!? Tough One!
Good shit man, happy early birthday 🎂🎉🍻, I can't wait until tomorrow I have 3 tarantulas coming into my reptile rescue. Gotta go pick them up from a town about 2 hours away. Getting one A metallica pink toe and Arizona blond and a sling Honduran curlly hair I've been supposed to have gotten them a few weeks ago but things happen but I still can't wait 🤪 🌋🙌
Don't worry about your English, it is just fine. There is nothing I do not understand while your talking. I'm French from Quebec and has been living in Nova-Scotia for fourth years and still make mistakes. Your doing just fine. Cheers
I really appreciate all of your efforts to give us English we can understand. I didn't know you put so much effort behind it because you speak it very well. I understand you better than I understand Tarantula Dan. I quit watching him because I can't understand anything he says, and I believe he is English! Right? Ironic, eh?
Your English is very good and I would say that the level that is taught to L2 (English as a second language) or EFL (English as a Foreign Language) is attempting to copy native speaker levels are quite difficult due to the linguistic development of English resulting in very specific grammar and syntax (word order and rules) that is difficult to master Love the videos 😁👍
Ooo M. Balfouri, I love it😍 it's so beautiful, someday I want to buy one, but not now because I'm a very beginner and I haven't bought my first tarantula yet.
Love Balfouri updates, I was nervous though that their lid was open and the nymphs might jump to their death, oh no! hahahaha Thanks for content Petko!
Man the "hobby form" is actually from Honduras and the fluffy one is from Nicaragua. They are from different localities and pairing them would contaminate their genome. Best to get an Albopilosum Honduras male and a Nicaragua female.
Lmfao, I just realized that you have an Instagram xD hahahahah! I Loooooooove you’re videos, They helped me turn my mother into a spider fanatic which is a Biiiiig deal. As a child we would go camping n’ if we ever ran into a spider at the cabin. I would have to take it outside or she would freak rite out & get my brother to “take care of it” lol. But thank you for the awesome videos! Keep it coming man!
That’s so sad that he died 💔but so great that you have his offspring now so cute to see the full circle of life with the species💗 also too funny to see him playing dead 🤣
Have you ever seen a Peruphasma schultei? I think those things are amazing. I'm a snake guy, I dont have any arthropods, but I've considered getting some of those.
Hey english is tough so hats off to you, just keep rolling with it, my dad learned english when he came to the U.S. and taught himself but he only got really good at it after having children (me and my sister) I guess children are good to learn from haha
i repeat the scene with the "death" jungle nymph baby too many times x'D "look at this... a death jungle nymph baby...completely dead,.. lifeless....OR IS IT!?!?!? DÜDÜDÜDÜ DÜDÜDÜ DÜDÜÜ DÜDÜDÜDÜ" xD
"Why you have to be mad, it's just a game..." I'm glad you like ice hockey :D Which team do you support? I'm sad what happened to Medvescak, but I hope they'll become strong and we can play against them again :) A fan from Hungary
Hahah, I do have Chameleons at home and when I started watching this video I start looking around my flat as I thought I had some crickets escapees🤣🤣🤣than realised it from your video...
Love seeing all the comments of people throwing fits like "DoNt BrEeD tHeM!!" And "HoW dArE yOu UsE TwEeZeRs!!" After they tried to do a quick google search and think they're now spider masters. Its even better seeing them be like "Im no longer watching! No longer a fan!" Like haha good. Bye bye kiddos. 🤭🖐️
Beginning of the video I thought you were having a midnight snack and raided the fridge ,,,, lol. Your animals eat well my friend .... thanks for you experience
No one can know for sure, but whey probably hybridized at some point. Anny could be also WC, I don't really know how old is she and what is her origin.
more and more spiders are having their genes sequenced to find out their actual evolutionary relationships and I think someone is doing Brachypelmas right now, they already found out that there are two separate groups that arent closely related at all. theres albopilosum and vagans and kahlenbergi in one group and all the ones w/ orange legs like boehmi and smithi and hamorii in the other group and Brachypelma should really be two genera. maybe they will look at hobby form albos and say what they really are. they could just be from a different region to the Nicaragua ones, like all the different kinds of orange biter come from different places. i love Brachypelmas Ive got 5 of them 😍
Awesome video, love the Balfouri, that is probably the top one for me righ th now. Which is all your fault, as you have dragged me back into arachnids. Currently we have an A. Seemani and an H. Gigas with reptiles and other critters.
I love it!! They grew up really fast and the blue coloring is gorgeous and it looks like your insect that looks like a prey mantis I forgot what it’s called the female is fat is she pregnant? Oh I took a picture of an insect on instagram it’s creepy looking it looks like a cricket and spider mixed can you check it out on Migdalia Lynch and tell me if you know what it is thank you have a nice weekend and see you Monday ❤️❤️👏👏
I haven't kept jungle nymphs but from my experience with similar species of stick insects and lead insects the larger species have females that live for around 18 to 24 months I'm not sure for jungle nymphs but I would assume a similar life span for them
your english is amazing, and i love your accent! not to offend but you sometimes sound like gru on despicable me, especially when you say poop!!!! i love it! new to videos and hooked! converted arachnaphobe, I don't think I'm ready to keep any spiders, but I'm totally hooked with the videos and the info you give! love all your other animals , thankyou thankyou thankyou! have a great Christmas with best wishes from a little island in the north of England xx
I'm still waiting for my jungle nymph adult molt :) anyways the male died about three months after adult, but he was weak...looking forward to next awesome videos! Greetings from Czech Republic
It's fun watching a communal grow and amazing at how much faster they grow when kept in a communal vs alone. I have a communal of 8 and received them at 3rd instar. Amazing

"Let me show you (increases volume)" *ZIRP...ZIRP...ZIRP* :D
Wolle0rism I never even got to hear the tarantula:(
I think that female is mad because you called her fat.
5:40 Petko got a haircut in a snap of his fingers, wow

With the blessings of OBT sling speed
BestOfBethesda what do you expect Petko is magic
His name is Petko? lol I guess that's kind of appropriate 😊

7:20 - 8:08 she sounds like a typewriter

I'm ashamed at how long it took me to realise the cricket sounds were coming from the video.
I Love balfouris...
Your my favorite and that's coming from Glasgow in UK x
Dark den needs a room specifically for fan mail
i'm new to your channel about 2 months and love your videos.
Love the attitude on that Jungle nymph.
Changed from a tarantula hater to a tarantula admirer. Thank you🔥
The bug attacking you made me die laughing!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
As someone who is a native English speaker your English is just fine
I think your English is very good, tho you may say the wrong words we can understand what your saying. I also find it funny you learned English from playing WoW my husband (Norwegian) also learned English from playing WoW.
Awwww the baby jungle nymph is sooo cute!
For the Horde! Always enjoy your videos, beautiful creatures & big World of Warcraft gamer myself. Keep up the amazing work & Thank you for all your info & vids.
A perfect video to brighten up my day 😍
When the time comes, do get some unrelated pairs to keep your bloodline strong, Im so glad you got some babies. ^^ Makes it worth it.

Watching you dealing with the jungle nymph’s attitude reminds me so much of when I handle my Macleay’s Spectre girls, absolute drama queens! 😅
I really appreciate all of your efforts to give us English we can understand. I didn't know you put so much effort behind it because you speak it very well. about the different types of Brachypelma albopilosum Ive read that people think the hobby form is actually a hybrid of albopilosum and vagans
