Tonda Novák that is a really great idea!! Sometimes the change is so gradual you don’t notice it looking at it, but having photos to compare can really show all the work they do & how much they grow/change!!

Jim Dingemanse that is really inconvenient for him to do lol but the time lapse itself was a good idea, Id want to see that too but only if it didn't require leaving the camera on for a week or longer at his expense. At best I could see him showing us their progress in separate videos

Hey man, this will be random but I feel important. I've always been into animal keeping, & always got bored with the typical ones, & had always loves all these critters, but stereotypically never got to because of my location & the common factor of others being afraid or whatnot! But after things unfolded into our current circumstances I randomly crossed your channel 1st, & it wasn't just the animals that caught my attention, it was your enclosures, your information, & all around just fun to watch where I only had mantis I found randomly. Fast forward a few months & I have 4 T's (sling-juevinile-sub adult) 6 true spiders, mantis, & a juvenile emporer scorpion looking forward to my 1st expo! I have had many hobbies, & very broad spectrum of study, but this is truly on a different level for me with the hobby as a whole & I honestly can't thank you enough, & all the others I watch & talk to started from you, & my 1st online order came from your recommendations & got a beyond tiny giant brazilian white knee with I know you have as well. I asked about my harder to find pink toes & you made a video with the Avucularia's, & mentioned mantids & you did a video with them too! Lol I remember thinking right off "oh yeah, I've always wanted my own tarantula, but why would people get more then 1-2 let alone so many? That's pretty cool" .....lol now I'm well aware of the answer to that! Unique exotic pets that aren't common like other pets, but we get to create their display enviroment, & have living breathing collectors items that give back what you put in. I just wanted to relay the impact you & your videos of your collection had with me, & I saw last night that if you could have a difference like that with people getting T's, and/or getting over fearing them you liked to hear about it, so I decided to type this out for you! I've spent the last year in he'll with most of my hobbies being dumped on by shitty selfish people who treat people like crap & abuse them for sport too afraid to answer for their own actions, & I've seen a lot from you frowning on negative people (like the animal shelter scan lol) & again in so many ways thank you! I know now without a doubt I will never not be in to this almost like I was searching for it without knowing what I was looking for! Lol anyway end rant of randomness! But 1 question, given the nature of the enclosures I've built, the ideas I have for the hobby & towards others in the field combined with my drive to collect & scientific know how I was wondering how you got into having your own channel? Did you intend to try to get to where you are? Or was it more just randomly throwing up a video & rolling with the positive responses?

I really love the coloration of these guys. As soon as you captured the first one, I said to myself that those are lovely looking spiders. However, I wondered why they appealed to me so much when there are some other really unique and colorful spiders. Then my dog came over to me and I think I figured out why I immediately took to the coloration of the M. balfouri...they have very similar colors to my dogs, fawn with black mask Great Danes.

I love your vids even though I've had really traumatic experiences with spiders of multiple species. I was bitting by a brown recluse on the back of the neck back when I was in 8th grade. Wierd thing is I didnt feel it bite but there was no doubt it was from a brown recluse. My stepdad at the time got the sac out when he got home by popping it out like it was a pimple. I was lucky we got the sac and toxins out cause all I have left from it is a defined scar probably just from the pinching of the area haha. Not sure if you have one of those spiders but Id like to see some coverage of one. Even when i see a random wolf spider in my house back then Id just freeze out of fear. I love how they look and I just am not sure why I have that reaction to em. Thanks for these great videos as they help me calm down and appreciate their beauty.

Ive disliked spiders for a while, fine when I was a kid I would look for any play with spiders in the garden etc, as I've grown I became really twitchy when I see one, since watching you I realise of course mine is a natural reaction to something that moves in the manner a spider does, ok the fangs are an issue, but watching you seeing the beauty in them has help me to relax a little, if I do get twitchy or jumpy that's ok, you've done same its natural. So thanks I've now got a house spider I'd of "removed" but Boris is cool. Xx
