Thanks so much for the great video. I watched a lot of videos trying to use this tool and your explanation is the very best in pulling the pulley off and putting it on. Your method was right on. The “Vise Grip” method saved me so much head ache. Good job on explaining everything in depth. Oh ya thats cool how the wife helped.. ha ha
I have the same pulley puller tool. I fought it for and hour trying to get the pulley on the new pump. I grabbed the vice grips after watching this video and on in 5 minutes. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this since I’m trying to replace the power steering pump on my 86 Chevy k10 but the instructions on the box are always too vague and other tutorial videos or bs. This was perfect thank you!
Just did mine today (9/22/19). Your video helped tremendously except for the vise grip part. All you have to do is use a socket and turn it in the loosening direction while turning the monkey wrench in the tightening direction. Had it back on in under 5 minutes without any issues. This cheap kit worked very well. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing ...watching your video save me a lot of money...I like your way more easy for me to follow step by step and no confusions on the pulley kit. Love the vice grip technic...once again thank you so much and God bless you !
I'm sorry it took me so long to get back with you I hope that you enjoyed the video I'm glad that it helped you please look at some of my other videos I have one that I just made about tearing a steering column completely down in a Chevy truck
I'm sorry it took me so long to get back with y'all but I'm glad that the video helped you and sometimes I want to pick up a hammer and slam the crap out of it too so please watch my other videos I've got I've got some very useful videos that I've made
Vice grips! That was a million dollar tip. I, like you, noticed that the threads on the smaller screw was unthreading while I was turning the big nut, and so I was getting nowhere. Thanks for the video!
Dude. Thanks for the video...... but get a new video person. Your wife is soooooo annoying. You are trying to show how to do things and she is shoving her hands in the way and interrupting your work. Dump her like you are in high school.

Thanks for the vice-grip idea. This might be just what I needed. After 5 hours of trying to brute force it
The wedding ring is the highlight of the video. Lucky to have a third and fourth hand

When you put pully on . Do not turn the threaded bolt . Just hold I'd it and turn the nut and it won't back off..
Works for me anyways
I have done this a couple of times and I always have a hard time putting the pulley back on since some has no holes to hold it still. Great video.
