Wow, 5 years ago this was posted and I’m the first one to give some respect… thank you brother I truly appreciate you.
ua-cam.com/video/RXKoVXcPnlE/v-deo.html Another tutorial on using fencing pliers
Nice an simple thanks bud
Thanks for the vice-grip idea. This might be just what I needed. After 5 hours of trying to brute force it
Easy enough, THANK YOU for your video, hopefully my fencing project goes just as smoothly as yours... 👍
Thank you, Raymond.
Now to figure it out for a 2001 dodge durango
Thanks buddy! I use every once in a while and use your video for a refresh. 🤘
I watched your video, tho I've done this before. Then it took 4 hours. The china kit didn't actually fit. Wrong bolts, etc. Then I had to take it all back out 3 times to adjust the angle of the long rod, at the gear. Now it works. Thanks...
You just solved a mystery! Thanks for saving my sanity....or, what's left of it!
Thank you
Thank you I was getting scared that I would have to take it to the shop to get it put back on 😮💨
Thank You from California
Brilliant way to by pass 87b on the relay
I would check you state laws it what defines a legal fence before taking this advice.
Such beta mentality. Lol. Nobody is checking barbed wire fences. I've run ranches my entire life, and I've never even heard anyone suggest this, let alone anyone being checked, and definitely no one has ever been cited.
Lol. Nobody cares about that. I've been running ranches my entire life and that's never been an issue. I have wagyu cattle ranches and miles of fence. Do you "cHeCk sTaTe LaWs" before you get dressed in the morning?
That vice grip trick is legit! Exactly what I needed
Getting it past the pipe is the #1 thing most videos skirt past... the most difficult part. And, the locking band on the pipe can be a pain to get off as well. My 2009 is rust on wheels.
Where did u get the part off with the bolts
This is my comment.
Man, i did it and now half my dash doesn't work, i lost my temp gage, most of my Christmas tree went away, wipers stoped working and hvac stoped working
super explicado
Since you are going from a component system to a coaxial you need to wire the tweeter in as well since otherwisevyour just getting midrange
Are you sure it's not the same signal with a passive crossover on the tweeter? I'm about to replace mine with some components. Should I wire both the tweeter and speaker signals to the crossover?
@@CaptSlowMTB on the late 1990s to early 2000s GM trucks (refering to the suburban and silverado) the speaker harnesses are the same. All you have to do is connect one harness to a crossover and run new wires out of the crossover to the new woofer and tweeter. I hope this helps.
Thanks
Great video in great detail. Thank you very much. Installing new CT Sound Meso 2 way components and sound dampening.
My interior courtesy lights are not functioning when the doors open...the fuses are fine and they come on when i turn the dimmer wheel so l was thinking that maybe the over ride button switch is faulty....would this be the reason they are not working?
I think this will help me thank you
Thank you! Decided to try this on my 2004 Chevy Blazer, highs, lows, and fog lights all on now. Used the driver side headlight ground to my fender bolt.
C Glad to hear it helped you have more videos on Chevy's if you needed help
Thank you so much for the details. Diy Rules!! Please answer this. So the first position symbol is head or drl? Not even sure if my 97 sierra has drl. Is the second position park lights?
Is it the same thing as a c1500 as it is for a blazer
I find it easier with it still mounted.
Great video if you already know what to do. Otherwise, that is two minutes I will not get back.
If you twist the clip around there that tight you will damage your main wire and it will break in time the clip does not need to be that tight ever
Good video.
Life saver! Good videos. Thank you so much, Sir!
That spacing doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't you space another inch so your pliers can go around without hitting. If you start coming up from bottom the top string will be closer but not much and you still have most of the spin around free. Just my 2 cents
Great video. Don't know why these are so difficult to access... I also saw a video that showed a way that worked well for me. It is cutting out the panel right where the motor is...Some may not want to do this, I understand, but it gave me direct access to the motor. Changing it and accessing it is really easy now. You can either put duct tape over the access hole or rivet tabs on the removed portion of the panel and screw it back into place to cover it up. It is no different than many of the speaker cutouts that you see on these. It just gives you very easy access to the motor. The video shows the dimensions that you mark and cut. It is essentially a 5"x12" rectangle that is 5" from the inner edge and 3.5" from the bottom. Cutting wheel in a drill and there it is! It worked great for me.
Thanks for the info on the little disc. Mine fell out when I took the switch apart and I didn’t know where it went. The dome override button would not lock in afterwards. Now I know what to do. Thanks!

If you see three or more hands in a demonstration find another video
nice video ! still helped me till this day 🙏 had to do a pump
My puller from Harbour freight wont grab on to my pulley. its keeps stripping it. great video though thank you
Nice to see a professional at work, she was great. And you did ok
What’s the light that doesn’t turn on for? Those never turn on and idk how to get them to turn on.
Daytime running lights. They turn on during the day when you have your headlights off and you put the truck in drive.
Pull DRL Fuse And Use Small Jump Wire In Top and Bottom Left Slots ( Make Sure You Have New Bulbs And Sockets Though)
Thanks this helped, got some led headlights a while back and wanted to do this mod, originally i was just going to ground the low beam to the body but im gonna do this relay instead
Why does GM make you remove the entire door panel and not just the speaker cover?
Definitely should have been a way to take the cover off only this is too much because that’s the only reason why we are taken these panels off anyway everything else works forever
I just have to figure this video out after many attempts, I didn't found you on time
I tried it on my 02 Tahoe but in the passenger side and it blew out the fuse
I used a painless kit with relay and fuse. Some just ground and go but I feel safer with a relay and fuse in this system.
You're the man! 🤙👍 Thank you sir
That set of klein's have a model number on them? I can seem to find them anywhere...
The Dewalt, Irwin, Channellock, etc come to a point at the top instead of flat with those 2 grooves. They do the same, but Tectonic, Ace, and Crescent are all flat with the 2 grooves (like the ones in the video).
