I feel people overlook the comet a little since it shares stats to the Yoshi bike. Yeah it’s inward but I’m pretty used to inward only lines since I’ve been playing inward since MK8 wii u. Not to mention that skilled inward players scare me more than any other combo, Do not get behind them when they have items. Not yoshi/teddy buggy by any chance but another option for those who want a bigger challenge.
inward is actually decent, only if you can take advantage of how it plays though. players like saru rhys and ectross are some of the best in the world and main inward so it's definitely a disadvantage but still pretty good and usable, and as you said could be fun if you want a bigger challenge
Good video for explaining why these combos have their strengths and weaknesses. How about a video on how certain characters are used more than other characters in their respective weight classes. Whether that be by their multiple colors, how their rear view camera isn't blocked off by the character's key features (Iggy's hair for example) or any other advantages only they can have.
I think it's worth mentioning that Rosa/King Boo teddy is essentially equivalent to Luigi Inkstriker. Rosa teddy has +0.25 air speed (and invincibility) for -0.25 antigrav speed and a bigger hitbox. So it's essentially the same combo (tied for 4th imo). Similarly, Yoshi Inkstriker and Luigi/Mario teddy are equivalent for the same reason. except obviously luigi teddy doesn't have a bigger hitbox. therefore it's worth grouping Yoshi Ink as part of the #2 best combo imo.
King boo teddy should either be 4th, or tied for 4th. its basically luigi inksriker but with more traction, air speed, and invincibility. Most people see a bigger hitbox as a downside, but I personally like it since it makes it easier to get coins . Also, I personally find shortcats stat system on his graph is the most useful and easy to understand. (link to it in the description on his combo guide)
Thoughts on the Rosalina class? I've been using Rosalina Teddy for a long time now because she's my favorite character. It's kinda like the inkstriker in a way where you trade off some miniturbo for speed
I wish there were more wheels that had the same stats as rollers. Sure, having different colors is great and all, but I'd really like to not have to use these dinky ass wheels every time I wanna play meta lol

That is, if you don't stand out, people may wait longer to target you to avoid potentially hitting a teammate. I've never actually played this way, however, so I'm curious what your thoughts are on this. Personally I prefer Peachette to Yoshi, but despite their stats being the same, it could still put me at a disadvantage.
you definitely had to before the patch because you'd stick out like a sore thumb otherwise (waluigi lol) but more so nowadays people try and play different yoshi colours or different characters in that weight class to be able to differentiate themselves from enemy players

Yeah, what the other reply said. Worth noting that paper glider is the "meta" pick because it's the smallest, so you can see more of what's going on in front of you while gliding. Very minor thing, but when there's no disadvantage of picking the paper over the other 3 you may as well take that minor advantage.
also shoutout to the pipeframe and city tripper, both decent builds and good alternative options

comet to yoshi bike is same thing as cat cruiser to teddybuggy,. Larger hitbox but more invincibility, nonetheless still a great kart.

Inkstrikee does have less handling with the same mini turbo, so it feels kind of weird to play.

Bruh your hitbox is as unimportant as the invincibility stat. You can't just neglect an entire stat just to make the two options seem equal.
