Items currently in the game that should be removed from all future installments: Blooper and Coin (as an item). While the Coin does guarantee a first place defensive item, it's overall better off just bein on the track. As for the Blooper, it only exists to ruin the glorious footage and be a minor inconvenience at best. Items from previous installments that should NEVER return in ANY future installments: Mega Mushroom, POW Block, and Thunder Cloud from Wii. I hate all of these items with a passion. The Mega Mushroom and POW Block are just a worse Star and a worse Lightning respectively, the Mega Mushroom is pointless unless you're near a group of racers, the POW Block shows up far too frequently and is my arch nemesis, and the Thunder Cloud is both the worst Mario Kart item ever and one of Nintendo's worst ideas ever.

Of the three items mentioned, the only one I could see return is the Fake Item Box. This is because I would rework the item so that it's no longer a placeable item. Also, aside from being a worse Banana, my main problem with the item is that nobody falls for it due to it being blatantly obvious. First, I would make the Fake Item Box look almost exactly like a real Item Box with the upside down question mark being the only difference. From a distance, it will have a regular question mark, only on approaching will the question mark rotate to turn upside down. Second, I would make it so that the Fake Item Box infects a real Item Box in an item set and prevents players from getting another Fake Item Box until the current one disappears. I don't want any of the Wii exclusive items to return. They are my least favorite items in the series. The Mega Mushroom is a worse Star, the POW Block is a worse Lightning, and the Thunder Cloud is the worst item ever.

Liam needs to do a 2v2 with hydriex or a 3v3 with jpg and hydriex that would be awesome

Agree with the fire flower and the boomerang. I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve lost a race due to these items. Boo is a nice item, though (but I would like to see it work similarly to MKDS where you don’t lose speed offroad). Blooper sucks, but we all know that

If it takes longer to throw the fireballs, it'll be even more annoying when trying to chain it while bagging

also the blooper, it literally sucks in every aspect, it doesnt even do anything to pros and messes up casuals and the guy that pulls it get's nothing

the fire flower in mario kart 7 made it so if you spam it the first fireballs dissapear so i guess that's what you want

I would also give a mention to the Piranha Plant. This item is annoying for the player pulling it and the players around. Annoying for the player pulling it because: - It can't be chained - It's very unreliable - It can screw up your lines - There are better items for the speed boost (even just the single mushroom) Annoying for the players around because: - You get no warning unlike the Red Shell, Blue Shell, Star and Bullet Bill - It's very unpredictable due to lag This item just feels clunky and unfair in every way. I would very much prefer Mega Mushroom replacing both Piranha Plant and Boo.

Would rather there be a pow than a ghost

I put "in order" and it lead me to a menu for me to pick the track i want to play, so what's the difference between that and just choosing "choose"

Boo can be really annoying when the guy in front of you has a bill and you pull a coin from your ghost

my problem with the boo is that it adds completely uncontrollable randomness. if you pull the boo, there’s nothing you can do to get a better item, you just have to pray you get lucky. if somebody steals your item, you can’t do anything to protect against it.
