For anyone that doesn't like the roller tires, go with with the Standard, Blue Standard tires, Leaf Tires, Button tires, or GLA tires, you'll sacrifice a bit of mini turbo, but you'll have more Invinciblity frames after getting hit.
Late, but good stuff. I mainly use Ludwig. Always felt people oversold the heavys. They might do good on time trials, but in a online game with not perfect conditions? Acceleration matters. Added to maxing coins can make you outsped the fastest karts, it's a moot point. There's also tracks where getting a good glide can make or break you. They're are situations where I'd prefer high top speed, but I think the use is somewhat exaggerated even today. Morton? No problem. When Iggy pulls on up? I'm worried.
Heavies are a bit underrated, they're not quite as good unfortunately, but they're still solid and viable. I use DK a lot online, and I have good success!
alright I need the best build, which one is the best, I’m in a Mario kart tourney with little to no experience. What’s the best build and what are some good tips to go the fastest?
Overall, the Teddy Buggy and Mr.Scooty are the best vehicles, try them both out and see which one you like the most! For tires, go with the Roller and the glider, pick the Paper! For character, any of the midweight ones like Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Peachette or Birdo! The most important part is to make sure you always have 10 coins, and take tight corners. Also, always look back to see what's coming!
Finally I found a viable combo for Toad
Me too 😂

Lmao this is so cool my go to kart combo is dry bones, Mr. Scooty, azure rollers, and cloud glider. You got it spot on!

a very underrated video. ive been using this video for days now 😂
I appreciate it! 😁
Inkling boy is my favorite character in Mario kart 8 deluxe.
Lol... I just REALLY like King Boo so that is what I play. Nice to know I found the same optimal combo on my own. =)
Yeah playing the same character and the same combo for years makes it boring I just like playing something new.
Same, I always play different setups! The meta isn't that important, so I love experimenting with different builds!
Exactly... imagine having fun in a game. =)
thank you so much I'm going soooooooo fast!
