    Do you think this laser could engrave on dried flax material? Or would it catch fire?

    I also noticed that with the air assist that there was next to no smoke. When without it, there was all kinds of smoke

    Is the long focus (LF) a better laser than the short focus (SF)?

      Our suggestion is to cut layer by layer for better results.Cutting multiple layers together will easily catch fire.

    • @DIYTECHBROS
      @DIYTECHBROS  2 роки тому

      Hi! Thats no problem! But, it will cut multiple layers. Use air assist to avoid fire!

    Hi. I ordered this -- ARTUR Laser Master 2 Pro S2 . Can you help me which programs I need and where to download ? to work with the tank and make drawings to burn .. can I link to the programs please .

      Lightburn is by far the best software! It has a free trial period as well. LaserGRBL is a totally free option, but has no design possibilities.

      @@DIYTECHBROS I'm new to this business. . Artur Laser Master 2 Pro S2 . LU2-10 I have a question for you in the LaserGRBL program, when I aim a laser for example on a ballpoint pen, when I want to write a word, before that I turn on the laser to see its position and its directions as it wakes up to write . But after that , I still have a thin strip where the laser light sight passed . I looked at 3% of the laser in the settings, set it to 1%, there is still a strip.. What else can be configured and how ? so that the strip does not remain on the object, the top layer of paint burns a little.. If there are lessons or videos how to solve this problem!

    A votre avis, combien de mm maximum de médium peut on couper avec une Ortur ?

    • @DIYTECHBROS
      @DIYTECHBROS  2 роки тому +1

      Hi! When cutting thicker materials both the kerf and number of passes (time to cut) increases a lot. 5 mm is no problem, but 10 mm on a regular basis might be a bit much.

    Will this cut clear acrylic

    • @DIYTECHBROS
      @DIYTECHBROS  2 роки тому

      Hi Malcolm! No, it will not… no diode lasers can not cut any clear materials as it light will just pass through. This is a matter of light waves. But, a CO2 can!
