    This is an introduction video to CNC laser engraving/cutting machines. Made the Best was nice enough to send us the new Ortur Laser Master 2 S2 along with some accessories. They also sent us a rotary roller, air assist pump, and a honeycomb laser bed. There will be affiliate links below for everything in the video.
    This is a great route to take to get started in the CNC market. This machine can do more than I can imagine. This video will cover the LightBurn software and testing the laser out. Feel free to leave any feedback or questions in the comments.

    E sure to wipe down the aluminum after the job with some acetone or a magic easer. Makes the engraving pop more

    that lightburn program, you showed the Trace image feature. is that something you can do within lightburn and then export that as a DWG to open in Fusion 360 so you dont have to manually trace images for your Plasma Table?

      Do you have all the software and connections in place? Or do you still have to set up everything? If it makes you feel any better i was terrible with computers until i got into this. I would recommend getting the machine set up and software connected first. You can follow the video tutorials on langmuirs site. Just do a little each night because it can be a little overwhelming. Then download fusion 360 and start getting familiar with the cad tools. Just email me as you have more questions and ill do my best to answer them. Thanks for watching!

    When I see people who don't use or even understand metric around machinery, I praise god they don't kill themself doing something stupid. On the topic - this laser is a toy for children, can not use for anything more or less serious aside from cutting Christmas ornaments for yourself. I personally would not take it for free, as it would take up the space lol. I have a 900x600mm 100W CO2 laser and even that machine is somewhat slow for me.

    • @SpicerDesignsLLC
      @SpicerDesignsLLC  11 місяців тому +5

      Well apparently you understand jokes even though your the smartest person alive. I do understand the metric system. And for people starting out its a great machine. I highly doubt that a 100 watt co2 machine was your first laser that your learned on. This might be the most ignorant comment I’ve received. This video is clearly for beginners. Sorry you struggled to realize that.
