those lacrosse-style goals in the beginning aren't common by any means, but they've seen a recent uptick in recent years. kids coming into the league trying all sorts of crazy stuff man
You gotta go to a hockey game no matter what team it is. The environment is awesome and energetic, easily the most entertaining sport. Im a huge hockey fan and roller hockey player. Gotta keep it up with the hockey stuff dude! 🔥❤️(note: those goals were they pick it up on their sticks are called Michigans because the first player to do it was on the Michigan college hockey team I believe, they don’t happen often, it’s kinda rare)
I second this. It doesn't even have to be NHL. There's a local minor league team in the city where I live and I go to a few of their games every season. Always a good time.
The lacrosse goal, the puck is held on the stick by physics of momentum, its rare to see those goals but they're happening more often. You can knock the puck down with your hands if not a goalie but must play it to yoursrlf and you're not supposed to actualy grab it. You might have to watch some scraps now....I'll subscribe if you watch "alex ovechkin Im a beast" lol
Another awesome reaction🏒🥅🏒 ☺❤ there are so many great moments in Hockey, like body checking, Penalty Shots, fights, it's endless. Looking forward to more 👍and thank you for doing them.
seeing any non hockey player react or non hockey fan react is amazing yo all give props when it due you kind of understand big moments its awesome to see keep it up
whoever touches the puck last on the scoring team if it bounces of an opposing team player its the player or if it bounces of a teammate in and in the goal its the player who it bounced off who gets the goal. and if a player hits a star player and its dirty there will infact be a fight.. its a point in hockey that you stand up for your teammates, everyone blocks shots. the puck can touch anywhere on the body but if there is a kicking motion in a goal its disallowed or if its swept in with your hand intentionally it wont count
3:12 These goals are called Michigan's (made famous by a player for the Michigan Wolverines) and are mostly performed by the young players that come up to the NHL. It's not something you will see too often, but it's not a rarity.
If you're looking for just pure goal scoring you have to check out Alex Ovechkin highlights as well. He currently has 861 career goals and is well on pace to break the all-time NHL goals record of 894 which is currently held by the great Wayne Gretzky. This record was for a long long time thought to be unbeatable, yet he is likely about to do it this season. Only one of his goals was featured in this video but he has some absolutely unbelieveable goals throughout his career.
Gotta react to nhl together we stand. One of the best hockey videos out there. When the owners of the teams wanted more of the money being made by the teams. Or watch the beauty of hockey 👍
The McDavid goal (where he waited at the blue line and went through four players) is one of the most astonishing goals I've ever seen. As for the lacrosse-style goals, the first guy to do it in a big game was at the University of Michigan in the '90s. It used to be very uncommon but it's become more common. It's still considered pretty skillful to do it in an NHL game.
You can pretty much fight anytime you want in the NHL. If a guy embarrasses you and scores you let him have his little celebration and ask him to toss down later.
10:00 Yes, but only if the guy you're trying to fight agrees to it, it's one of the unwritten rules of the sport. Now, you don't exactly have to follow that rule and attack them anyway, but then you get called a coward.
Really glad that you heard the comments out and picked a better video. I will say tho ap highlights videos aren’t great this video wasn’t bad but there’s still better goals
Fun game but the atmosphere is terrible. I left MSG at the first interval, NYR vs JYD, a supposed local rivalry, it was tragic to witness. When NYR scored, the crowd remained mostly silent... until they played their song 😂 They made more noise for the tshirt toss then anything during play but made noise on demand when a sign told them to.... and everything begun with the national anthem 😂 There were a few fights on the rink but it was kinda orchestrated. I'll stick to watching highlights on TV
21:44 You can knock the puck down to yourself out of the air. You are not allowed to hit it towards another player unless it happens in your defensive zone.
10:08 definitely not directly after the goal is scored. Fights only really break out DURING play, and sometimes immediately after the play if a hit is seen is unnecessary or overly dirty. Fighting after player after they score is extremely cowardly because someone who just scored has their guard lowered, celebrating their point
The puck flipped from behind the goal, off the back of the goalkeeper is not technically an own goal, but as the announced said... it's a very dirty goal. In football it's an own goal it the player "puts" the ball into the net versus being used. Example: on a corner, if the defender has his back to the kick and it deflects off his back and in, although he looks like an absolute dullard, he didn't put it in himself. On the other hand, a sweeper decides to be a showboat and clear a danger ball all the way onto the concourse but instead puts the ball into his own net, that is an own goal and probably someone that should hope he doesn't have to go to Columbia any time soon
Consider picking a team to root for. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta and I cheer for the Edmonton Oilers (the team where Gretzky started his career). Maybe see what team is closest to where you live to consider and if you don't like any of them, maybe consider becoming an Oilers fan 😀
@USA CULTURE SHOCK i play and watch alot of hockey and ik what ur asking but nah u js gotta cross them up too cant put,em up even though u wanna js cross them up too and celly infront of them, what i like to do is taunt them after u score and celebrate infront of them
Not like soccer hockey does not count "own goals" more often than not some players have that.skill to do bank shots off.goalies or.d men. Goal geta credited to last offensive player to touch puck
You should check out the NHL goal horns 2025 edition find how every NHL team gets their name PS the Arizona Coyotes don't exist anymore is there now the Utah Hockey club
As a Canadian, this makes me happy 🙌
What city me Calgary Alberta

5:28 this Crosby goal is so understated in the video itself. He literally backhand one-handed while protecting the puck. Un-fucking-real

you can't close your hand on the puck as that is a 2 minute penalty & you can not direct the puck into the net with your hand
Your wrong

Hockey is an amazing game
Very exciting when your at the game 🥰
Gretzky's saucer passes are unmatched. The NHL has a good product.
Just marketed horribly
@@smnbrgssThat’s the reason it’s so much smaller than the other 3 leagues. It’s absolutely tragic too because hockey is fucking awesome
Gotta check out a hockey goalie save compilation sometime.
Hockey is such a great sport
8:43 a goal is a goal. The last person on the offensive team that touches the puck gets credit for the goal.
You need to see the NHL DANGLES video basically what being “crossed up” is in basketball

Watch Nathan MacKinnon to see a bulldozer disguised as an elite hockey player
McDavid is pretty awesome! Pavel Datsyuk's highlights will blow your mind! (just pronounce it Dat-sook) lol
Crosby's goal at 5:23 is a 1 handed back hand the strength and precision it takes to make that shot is crazy
I would check out Pavel Datsyuk. You won't be disappointed.

It is so freaking hard to shoot the puck as a goalie like Sirously
Gotta watch best NHL shoutout goals of all time

should watch all time goalie saves

1:40 the lacrosse move used to be the hardest move but now I feel like everyone and their grandmother can do it
Check out Det vs Col rivalry if you want to see some crazy fighting. There are others, but that was freakin' nuts.
Make the biggest hit now!
tbh there are a lot of nicer goals than some of the ones in this video, also I feel like they put way too many goofy ass blooper goals

The Michigan
Is a garbage "goal". Nothing nice or fancy about it

Swayman was Ullmark’s goalie partner so he tried (but failed ) to make his own goalie goal
Check out the fights too.👍👍

Watch game 7 of San Jose Sharks vs Vegas Golden Knights. Make sure you watch the whole game highlights not just power play highlights.
So for hockey if there’s an own goal the goal goes to the last person to touch the puck on the scoring team
I love your sneaker wall
Its not an own goal if it touches the goalie coming from the opposing player. Only if their own skater somehow puts it in their own goal.
you have to check out Rick Nash deking out 2 defenders goal, probably one of the best you will see tbh
2:45 Benson goal. That's dirty for a first ever goal. I'd be interested to know if there's a better first ever goal.
Jordan Eberle and Mario Lemieux had really nice first goals. I'm sure there are more; those just pop into memory.
Best Sport 🔥🔥
You should try reacting to NHL goal horns
You from New England/New York? I ain’t seen OG Tims in a minute lol. Depending, in areas as a kid, Tims were treated just as important as J’s.
