If you're just starting out, I recommend getting the lower end MelodySusie brand e-file. It's only $60 and sometimes on sale for $45. The one that goes to 30,000 RPM is just fine, you do not need one with 35,000 RPM. She is trying to sell the $390 one because she has an affiliate link. You do not need to invest in expensive ones when you're just starting out, I promise you.
My clumsy self dropped the handpiece with a bit in it of my old drill when cleaning my nail desk. The bit broke at the post and post itself leaving a piece stuck in the handpiece😅 I ordered that melody susie one now. I'm excited to use it once it arrives.
I've done a lot of damage to my nails, thinking i know what i was doing. What's helped me the most is angle, angle, angle!!!!! I was holding it wrong all along!!! Also, speed. I was scared, so i kept it low when removing, or trying to, product!! I also stopped using builder gel, or anything else really, that's clear, as i have an incredibly hard time differentiating between what's product and my natural nails!!
I love your videos, they're so helpful! I am wondering if there is a little bit cheaper but still good and reliable e-file you have used? alomst $200 drill is not in the budget for me.
What speed setting do you use when using the cuticle bit vs the 240 grit bit? I’ve definitely over filed before so I’m wondering what speed is gentle but still effective.
Hi I tried using my E-file for the first time and I noticed the bit can be inserted all the way in. Should I for example stop it before the base of the mandrel touches the “pen” and lock it? Also my sanding band is really hard to remove from the mandrel, and when I pull it, it pulls the bit out of the pen 😢, what should I do thank you
She said the cheapest was $50-$70 😭 I bought mine for $39 and thought it was high because there are efiles that are $15😅😂 and the one I bought actually was 40,000 RPMs
@@dasiablount6004 Yeah sometimes it makes me wonder if people say outrageous pricing on these drills to discourage people from doing their nails themselves lol. Or maybe they just don't price shop...idk. But affordable good-quality drills are available in mass numbers, so I really don't understand the reasoning of throwing large numbers out lol. 🤭
@@dasiablount6004 Ohhhh I see why lol, she has a link for people to go and buy it, so she actually would probably get a commission off of someone purchasing a more expensive drill. Also, I noticed in the video the screen of the drill still has the screen protective sticker on it, so it's probably just a model for the video.
