saying that hip hop has no future in the next couple years is a weird take with rappers like travis and carti always being ableto deliever something new and fresh but after those 2-3 artists is indeed no future
I can agree to an extent, but both travis & carti fall into that experimental lane that isnt fully accepted as the next generation of Hip-hop. The music is good to me at times, but even within hip-hop its divided on whether that sound is good or not. The take is in comparison to the dominance of previous generations/Rappers
@@VladStopTalking literally everyone does tf? On both there wikipedia pages the first genre listed is hip-hop and all their albums are labelled as hip-hop on all streaming platforms 😭
You’re thinking from inside the mind of a HipHop head. Majority of consumers of HipHop also listen to other genres which are HipHops competitors. Casual HipHop listeners are losing interest that’s the real reason. A lot of the FANS are hitting their late 20s, 30s and 40s becoming parents they don’t wanna be in a car with their daughters listening to Sexxy Red or Durk. Clean HipHop only makes up 10% of the genre. The 90% promotes drug use, drug selling, gang violence, sexual immorality, profanity, etc. The biggest demographic that buys HipHop are white teens and I think they are losing interest in HipHop or their parents are banning them from listening to it. Because it has become more and more socially unacceptable to listen to HipHop. I can’t play a HipHop song with family in the car back in the day even some of the GANGSTER rap was less explicit than what we hear today.
