That being said, however, the rhythm game bit was worth everything.
All in all, the raw power of the meta back then was open to a lot of counterplay. Decent mobility and/or range, along with a decent ping, could fairly easily win the 1v1 against the standard meta build. The bite attack, while deadly, had pretty slow startup and endlag. Something the deinochirus excells in beating with it's long range, non-committal hitboxes.

"All in all, A great run" Dude, I would have been so salty for losing like that. I probably would have gone and ranted about how bleed damage is practically garanteed and very OP, you are way more patient that I am.
Yeah, bleed damage was a serious issue back in the Mesozoic and earlier patches unless you had the HP to tank it and good luck with your coagulation ability procs, but it's not as big of a deal now that the community's gotten better at social high-int play where you usually have a friend around to help staunch your wounds and lick them clean (or better, a human support class willing to lend a hand). I agree that it's still somewhat unbalanced (especially because bleed tends to lead to the often-debilitating infection debuff) and it's kind of shitty that the devs put the onus for adapting to it on the playerbase, but there are some decent workarounds available. Honestly I think it might be a rather pernicious bug rather than an intentional feature.
Besides, dinosaurs were pretty well built to handle bleed damage as long as the initial damage wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, he got crit two times on the neck, and a bleed status in this part of the body leads to a "Game Over" for any build I'm afraid
Gibb Charron I like using specialized equipment that keeps support classes like doctors from being able to heal and he stab wounds I make just a slight alteration to the size and/or shape of a knife is enough to make a wound untreatable just make it like a pyramid
A lot of players like finishing the side quests before finishing the main quest. Also getting a reliable source of in game currency is crucial and often leads to a stats buff to your offspring.
On my human account, I haven't even considered main quest. There are so many side quests I want to do, that get penalties during the escort part or are flat out impossible to do simultaneously.
I finished the main quest at level 21, I may not have a huge reliable in game income but my stamina stats are still high and continue to rise therefor adding a more enjoyable time with off spring and specking into bonding and social buffs

Funny part :). But I can't help but wonder how scientists could determine whether a species performed mating dances. They happen with some current species so I guess you could only infer prehistoric species would do it if they closely relate to an animal from today?
I was one of those tarvosaurus players. Jumping off that cliff was such a extreme option, that I assumed you tripped and fell. I really thought you were dead there!
And here we have the human player. Even though it has maxed out its intelligence, it still is having the morbidly fucking obese debuff. Wow, what a looser.
Imagine playing "Outside" with your Controller and then suddenly for the final Quest of the Game you just plug in that dance pad and start Breakdancing the shit out of the Game.
Furries when role playing: *wags tail, pounces and nuzzles* UwU TierZoo role playing: I see you've wasted your leftover evolution points on cosmetics. With a large evolution point pool you would make a viable mating partner.
They were old enough to survive, so it was a good run. Even if they could get the trauma debuff (this is special to primates, corvids, and bovids so they can't), they would just be better at defending themselves, as they would get the alert buff.
Ypsi the Flintsider you can get rid of the obesity debuff with the “working out” exploit where you waste your stamina so your character has to use its fat reserves to get energy back but idk about the depression and anxiety debuffs you should probably try to find some tutorials on those.
I really like this way of teaching people about dinosaurs, it might be much more effective towards kids than a regular documentary when it's in the style of a video game
6:04-6:45 This is why Tier Zoo is amazing He is so good at explaining complex concepts using terminology from the game “Outside”, that he was able to explain the theory of natural selection; not only in under a minute, but in a way that most people familiar with video games (which is a lot of people) can understand You are an amazing speaker and you are teaching zoology to millions very well
Tierzoo: "If we actually all grouped up [...] you can never count on your teammates" Me, a competitive online game player: I know the struggle, brother

Look at mister "I'm so special because I don't follow the meta" over here.
All in all, the raw power of the meta back then was open to a lot of counterplay. Decent mobility and/or range, along with a decent ping, could fairly easily win the 1v1 against the standard meta build. The bite attack, while deadly, had pretty slow startup and endlag. Dude, I would have been so salty for losing like that.
