thank you sir for taking time to comment on our topic, well on the 20hr nothing is done on the guages or cp5 but on the 50hr and on yes, you have to reset the GPS and the CP5 unit so it can follow through the rest of the hour services. I will be posting a video on the 100hr soon not there yet lol, on the 50hr you will only replace the 2 blue yamaha fuel water separators and then reset the CP5 and the GPS on engine info section. hit the bell icon so when i post the video you will be notified, thank you much sir.
Curious, I've watched several of these videos, and none recommend pulling dipstick out, and removing oil filler cap to promote free flow of oil drainage. Is this not a good idea? I just bought a boat with this motor, and plan on doing my own 20 hour service. Thanks for your great footage.
Great observation sir and valid...but with yamaha engines you do not have to perform that, they have a crank case ventilation system that allows crank pssr relief.
Highly recommend you run those beautiful engines in a tub.

Matthew those lights activate when the joystick is in use....just like reverse lights but for the joystick

You did not reset the service clock .
ON THE NEW ENGINES IT JUST GOES TO THE NEXT LEVEL WICH IS 100HRS.
