- We all know pizza isn't very good for your health, but sometimes it can be downright deadly... the following 3 stories from reddit users prove that both delivery drivers and customers are at risk of meeting a pizza-based demise. Warning: some of these are deeply disturbing!

Hearing these stories makes me realize how many similar realistic situations like these happen and how few people know the worker rights. Such information is free and readily available. Remember viewers, you have the right to refuse apparent unsafe work.
"Menial" jobs like delivery persons/customer service reps seem to have no respect from the general population. People just are disrespectful and sometimes damn right horrid.

I mean, true, but 90% of these stories are clearly made up.
As someone who worked as a delivery driver, the first story makes me laugh. After that second altercation, I’d literally just refuse to deliver to that address. I’d tell the other driver to take it, or I’d tell my manager about the dude and if they said I was lying I’d go over their head and report them to corporate.
Eat the pizza and never drive to the house.
Tell the manager, "Nnnoooo, I handed him the pizza, but he said he didn't have any money, and then he just took the food away from me! I don't want to deliver there anymore; he's a conjob...!"
The first story pissed me off cus the psycho felt so fucking intitled to that girls attention, body or even life. Makes my skin crawl.
The boss pissed me off, sending her out at night when it clearly frightened her. At least he mated up and admitted he'd fucked up - probably scared she'd sue his ass for an unsafe working environment.

The delivery guy gets to your porch and flashes a smile. You see the grease running down his forearm and dripping from his fingertips...
"Hello sir, is this your pizza sir?" he says. You, standing there in disbelief, slowly nod your head and say "Yeah". He says "Oh okay sir, that'll be $18.99 sir". You pull out your wallet and realize you have no cash on you so you decide to use debit...
"Ahh, you are going to use debit sir? Okay sir, let me get my machine sir" he replies. You watch as he puts the pizza down on your table and spends 30 seconds rearranging the pieces. He grabs the debit machine from around his waist and says "Okay sir, that'll be $18.99 sir, plus $4.50 for the debit machine sir".
First story reminds me of this woman I picked up when I was a taxi driver a few years ago. Worked from 6pm to about 3am, the busy shift for us because the city buses quit running at 6pm, the drivers are all union and the cost effectiveness just wasn't there to run them all the time. So our company would always get a bunch of calls from people needing rides home, or out to run errands and what not. I picked up this lady who chatted the whole drive, saying how cute I was and asking about me. It's a very customer oriented job so I couldn't just tell her to shut up, so I did my best to be friendly. She exited the cab, gave a wave and was off on her way. The guy who was ride sharing with her, as they came from the same place and were going to the same area, commented that the woman really wanted me. I turned and said it was awkward and weird, we shared a laugh about it and I dropped him off after he covered his share of the fare.
The woman called the company a lot after that night. Requesting me to be her driver. With how busy we were most of the time the dispatcher would just say she was out of luck because I had other rides on the other side of town, or wasn't working that night. Which gave her my schedule so she only started calling nights I worked. Every time she'd luck out and get me as a driver she'd just make the whole trip awkward, talking about how she wanted to travel around and how I could go with her and how cute and nice I was. It got to the point where all three dispatchers who worked shifts during the days I did noticed how obsessive she was about it. It seemed she'd call and waste time telling them all these things, about how nice I was and how she liked me and didn't want another driver. My usual dispatcher, Belle who worked most of the nights I worked, with James who worked my first night and Peter who was a day shift dispatcher who would leave just as I would come in to start, all told me on separate occasions that it was weirding them out. Peter made a joke out of it, James was pretty done with it and Belle asked if I wanted to just have those rides sent to other drivers. I told her I was done with the lady because it was super evident that she was obsessed.
She called all the time, scheduled her rides hours in advance and always talked about me. Trying to get my number from the dispatchers or find out anything else she could that I didn't tell her during the trips I drove her. Other drivers laughed about it, but I didn't find it funny. For a while I had to remind myself she didn't have a car and couldn't stalk me beyond her interactions with the company. Another male driver ended up with her where the process repeated and she'd call in asking for him, his number and all that. The dispatchers had enough at that point and we black listed her. Refusing all service to the creepy stalker lady.
Insane double standard. If a man was harassing a woman like that he'd already have a restraining order and the law on him. Disgusting how she got away with that behaviour for so long.

I worked as pizza delivery driver years back. Got an order out way out on the sticks, 15 miles. Guy said he knew he was out of our range but would give a $20 cash tip, so I jumped at it. I drive all the way out there and it takes about 30 mi. I get to the house and its a farmhouse with farmland all around it and the house is at least 1/4 from the road but acres of land around it. At this point, nothing is off or seems weird, when I get to the house I step out of my car and something hits like a ton of bricks. It is dead silent, and I mean DEAD, nothing, not even a flea fart. As I hunt in the woods with my father, there is never this level Dead Silence happens naturally. This makes all my hair on my body stand on end, sends a shiver up my spine and I get this overwhelming feeling that someone or something is watching me.
I walk up to the door an knock, the guy opens a few seconds and looks at me and can see I'm uncomfortable. At this point my sense are talking in my ear "something is wrong!" but this feeling isn't coming from the guy, it's coming from behind me. He looks me as asks me "you ok..." as I'm about to respond to him his face changes to a look of pure terror!!!! As he reaches to the left in the doorway, he says in a tone ill never forget, not yelling, just a flat "GET DOWN!!!!!" I go limp and fall to my left still with the pizza in my hands. He pulls out an Ar-15, aims it behind where I was standing and starts firing round after round!!!! I hear a guttural roar behind me. I roll over and there is a black bear lumbering over to us about 30 or 40 ft away. The guy says in that tone "GET INSIDE" I crawl inside and he slams the door shut.
the black bear is still roaring that guttural sound, its clear Steve (the guy I was delivering the pizza to) hit it a few times. He says "The phone is on the wall, hold 1 and tell them Jango came back!" I got to the phone and hit one a ring or two a guy says "Hey Steve hows it going, Pizza get there yet?" in a cheery voice I say "this is the delivery driver, Steve said to say Jango came back" he responded with "Hang on man, were on are our way" I go back to the front door Steve says the bare was off to the right and we could hear it groning still. About 10 min later 4 trucks come flying up the driveway. Steve pulled out a big spotlight uses it to get their attention and then aim it at the bear. the trucks rolled up to it and we could see it was on the ground an not going anywhere. one guy pulls out a shotgun and yells "Heads up" and fires. and hit it in the head and dropped it.

I was once a closing driver for Dominos. There definitely is a huge risk involved when delivering at night. Especially around midnight at some house out in the middle of nowhere.

Here's one for you guys from my old days of delivering pizzas. I was working for a local pizza start-up in my crime-ridden small Saskatchewan town. The owners were all employees of a large chain that used to be there. The truth was less that they figured out a winning pizza recipe and more that they learned the perfect forgery of this other companies pizza as a final way to flip them off for closing down.
I was fat and unemployed so I'd play wii, get a call, drop it off, play wii, etc. 3 in the afternoon I get a call to deliver to this local bar. This place was hot and happening-----in the 50's, now it was desperation, welfare city. It has had a steady amount of murders committed in the bar, the hotel above and in the vacinity beteeen the eighties and now. But I'm from the city, as odd as it to say I was used to the crime by this point and grabbed the pie and headed over. All and all from the time I put my remote/numchuck down and the time I arrived at the bar I was taking it to, was 7 minutes. So imagine my surprise when I walk into this bar and start calling out for pizza, and some rough bearded, partially aboriginal guy starts cussing about it being late. I politely apologized on behalf of the company and assured him the pizza is here now. Well the guy doesn't take it well. He pulls out a horse-cock sized serraded hunting knife and before I can do anything he holds it to my throat. This shorter white guy comes over and stands as backup so if I retaliate I won't make it more than an inch. The guy with the knife is cussing up a storm, every swear word in the book saying "I WAITED 35 MINUTES FOR THE PIE, I AM NOT PAYING! WHAT'S MORE VALUABLE? YOUR LIFE OR THE PIZZA I ORDERED?" I've never been afraid of death, to me it just meant relief that I wouldn't have to keep struggling to survive, and having faced a lot of situations like this before I just calmly looked him in the eye and said "No money, no pie. You don't pay I walk." Don't ask me how I planned to walk with a knife to my throat and a guy ready to pounce but that's what I said. After a five minutes the guy was perfusely sweating. He handed the knife over to the shorter guy who held it at my nose because he couldn't reach my throat, as the main guy searched his velcro wallet. He threw his wallet at a slots machine and said "I aint got 32$ for the *explotitive* pie! *exploitive* what can we do?" Me, still saying "no money, no pie" was no help to them, but i was standing firm. Finally the shorter guy said "We've already threatened him, better dispose of him," "ok, ok, let's do it." the main guy said, shaking to get up the courage to do it. Finally the bartender who had been observing from a far, just resting on his arm---actually more like sleeping on it throws up his hand "I don't want a death in here, we just redid the place, jesus guys," he sighs and opens the register handing me a 50. I give the bartender the pizza and the bartender says "free pizza to everyone in the bar!" and I walk out the side door, reeling from what just happened.

There's a reason girls weren't allowed to deliver pizzas where I worked, these sorts of odd characters would still pull into the shop itself from time to time and invite us to come with us or ask for a girl specifically to come and deliver. They were always refused.

This guy is just staring at me with the reciept in his hand. I grab it and sign. Hand it back to him and all the while, he is just staring. Blank face. No expression. No words. .
I ask for my pizza and he isn't moving. He is looking at me hard like he is really thinking about moving. So I just reach out and grab my pizza. Say thank you. Dude still just looking at me in the eyes.
I shut the door and lock it. If he would have made any false moves. He would have a bullet in him because he probably didn't think I was carrying. But I was. Still scary though. No one wants to have to protect themselves like that. Pizza should be a happy experience lol

when someone is on hood of your car you need to do a reverse J turn fast and hard. so they fly off the hood. if someone is at your car door or window turn the steering wheel all the in the direction away from the side they are standing on and reverse hard. this will possibly run them over with the front wheels.
Lazy's vid thumbnails usually send trickles of tiny icy shivers through me , but in a good way. However this one just made me wish I checked my notifications earlier so I could have ordered a chicken deep pan pizza to enjoy whilst listening to this so that my night could be pretty much complete :).
