do we need a license for normal painting?
You can pan without permits pretty much anywhere in BC that isn't Park, Native land, private property or under a mineral or placer claim.
@@meMiner thank you for responding. How can find the not claimed location?
@@pramodpokharel3311 In BC, the Maps are provided online by the MTO:
www.mtonline.gov.bc.ca/mtov/home.do
Remember: you need to look at both Mineral and Placer maps
@@meMiner Thank you, Really appreciated these informations
Is it expensive ?
Lol. I just got to your keys part
I wonder how many people get a claim, just so they have an excuse to get a key, so they can go 4-wheeling?
How do you get a free miner's certificate?
That could be a whole other video. Best bet is go to the the BC MTO site and look it up. I have had my FMC for a long time and the process may have changed. You can do some of it online but there final step requires you to go to one of the BC service outlets in person. At least, that was the way to do it when I got mine.
Awesome!
how long do you have access to a claim for $107?
1 year. Then you have to pay or submit a work report (or it forfeits).
@@meMiner how can 20 hectares be so cheap... guessing non virgin plots?
@@brownbeard4088 It is the cost per hectare province wide, that flows to the provincial government. They actually want prospecting and mining to occur (within the rules).
@@meMiner what forms of prospecting is allowed... dredging?
Cool
Just imagine having claims on 10 differnt roads thats 5k just for keys
People in BC must be very polite. In Ontario, a gate would be treated like a deep mud hole and there would be a "go around" right next to it.
FUN!
And good luck
If your a locksmith do you still need a key from the forestry company?
🤣🤔
You do if they find you. Or worse, if you are on the roads when the logging trucks think nobody is supposed to be around. Some of the rules changed this year and I am not sure anybody can get a key now. Maybe that has changed.
If you need help with keys 🔑 . It’s my day to day.. it like mining ⛏ only you have to be more insane 😊
Not gonna lie looks like about ten people could crash that website major Netscape vibes
Good on ya! Heavy Pans!
Meminersville
LOL
internet mining lol what happened to the ol' pound a stake in the ground and call it mine ?
I did that years ago. This method sure is easier. Last time I had to physically stake a claim, I had an encounter with a grizzly when alone on the side of a mountain.
@@meMiner yeah I know I don't wanna end up a pile of bear shit lol
ah yes, like the ones with the little bear bells that people wear? On that outing, I left the rifle back in camp and only had a half axe with me to blaze the trees. The bear was really interested in the blazes. Probably something about bears marking trees with scratches to show other bears how big they are.
Thats why I left the Island
I hear ya.
too bad there is no gold left
Lots of gold in micro locations. Just have to find those small spots that were overlooked, difficult to access or have been replenished.
How long do you get to keep the claim for
There is an annual assessment
