- A collection of most of the best critical animations from the GBA series of Fire Emblem games (FE6, 7 and 8).
Note: A few codes were used to make getting the animations easier.
(Archsage critical is missing)
I love lookin back at the GBA Fire Emblem games, the sprites are just so colorful and I love the way they move! Good times.
Rath: Are you ready, my friend?
Horse: LET'S FUCKING DO THIIIIIIIIIS!!!!
Holy hell this is an old video. So cool to see this still up.
WHAT THE ----- NINIAN??
GBA FE Animation > FEH Animation
To think gba fe is a decade older...
genealogy of the holy war animations.
Damn they really should make feh animations better
lol insane FE kicks ARSS
I cant believe the actual Ali-A loved FE
oh hey its ali-a
Ali-A fe7 ironman let's play when?
Ali-A fe7 ironman let's play when?
Ali-A fe7 ironman let's play when?
Poor Joshua. Looks like his luck finally ran out
Holy fuck. Someone liked this after 5 years.
supersnorlax1 lol
supersnorlax1 don't have luck with getting likes huh?
man, I always love watching Hector's armads critical. So awesome. The king was pretty awesome too.
Criticals in the Fire Emblem's are the most bitching, they're so beautiful and well done. I love watching these.
you have to get them to level 10 (at least) some change automaticaly, but most you have to use a certain item, (knights crest, fell contract, etc) there are many items each for one or two people, and in some games (path of radience) you automaticaly change at lvl 21 (becomes lvl 1)
Thanks for the upload. ^_^
i liked ninian for her ice blue hair red eyes and dancing skills... but now she can do darkness...even better
Daang this older than some kids in high school
Damn this video is older than my lil bro
That would be Fire Emblem 6: The Sealed Sword or Sword of Seals, depending on your interpretation. For future reference, it's also known as "the one with Roy in it".
‘The Binding Blade’
What I have learned from this video: SPINNING MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!!!!
The youtube algorithm has blessed me with an oldie but goodie.
Damn, these moves are brutal
I was "lucky" enough to see the Demon King's crit.
It was worth losing Myrrh for the pretty lights show.
This was one of the first youtube videos i ever watched. Man was it cool!
if you have emulators, i would strongly recommend starting with Fire Emblem 7 (just Fire Emblem in the US). it was the first Fire Emblem released outside of Japan and it contains a story backed tutorial component of the game. very strong cast of characters and engaging gameplay. The story is very memorable too. It will be a great gateway into the rest of the fire emblems. Enjoy!
I LOVE this game! I cant wait for Shadow Dragon to come out for DS :)
Me too oh wait what year did this comment come out? 13 years ago?
this comment just made me age 20 years
14 Years ago... Damn, it is true that the best videos are atleast 7+ years old
I wish i could land a critical hit and give this vid 3 likes in 1.
You have to finish the Ruins dungeon three times after beating the game once. There are several bosses and other NPCs that you can unlock from playing through the tower and ruins after beating the game in this way.
btw tanx 4 uploadin the vid....brought bk memories ov gettin no sleep lol
nice job i love the parts with roy.. he is my second favorite next to ephraim :D
Good vid. Countless times I've watched in horror as one of these has been used on a best character of mine xD
i never had this for GBA but gotten it on my old comp. the 1st one.... but i hit F1 and it brought me to a way too earlier stage. but now imma get it again. thanks dude
Wow... I didn't even know critical rates could go beyond 100%. Excellent video.
They did not screw up. They wrote that the Archsage critical is missing from the video.
Awesome man. I love Fire Emblem, it's the best strategy RPG that I've ever played. My favorite series is probably Rekka No Ken or the one featuring Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector.
@ANDRESTAMP1 Yes, because the calculations for landing critical hits in FE7 allow for 100%+ chances, but really only for Swordmasters. You'd need to have the ideal factors to make it happen, so it's not a common thing to see.
In fire emblem 8 you can get a mystery card that at the end of the game can be used to get upgrades like an energy ring or speedwing. They cost a lot so save up and for lyon you have to beat the ruins before the last chapter 10 times.
Lyn with Sol Katti is my favorite.
She's more like ATATATATATATATATATATA!!!
omfg ty, Roy and Eliwood were confusing me on how much alike they look 0_o
fire emblem is an excellent series. and that was fun too watch. i love all my fellow emblem-ers
At 2:50, i like how the Berzerker just.... stands there while the Bishop does this insane light ritual to kill him.
That's Right! I though no-one saw that.
When Athos make his Critical Hit, Rise his Staff, the Satff shines, then the attack.
@dragonblaster Roy is Eliwoods son, he makes an appearance at the end of FE7 (the one with Eliwood and the first one in America) with another character from his game (FE6, the one in Japan), and they call him Roy.
Man I love the assassins one hit ko move. also the king's and swordmaster's
Very nice, I loved that last part.
@NickyNick227 She's one of Grado's generals in Sacred Stones, and the boss of Chapter 13 (Ephraim mode). She becomes playable if, in Creature Campaign, you clear the Tower of Valni 3 times.
I wish I had read the description to see that there was no archsage. Also, Raven's hero outfit rocks!
He is prince zephiel, the kid that appeared on the fire emblem of lyn, hector and eliwood.
I love the axe wielding animations the most.
lyn looks a ninja women!
They did make a Fire Emblem anime. It was canceled after two episodes. Nuff said.
(Though you can watch those two episodes on youtube).
@MrLotrfreak I don't remember anymore what he does before what you see Athos do, but there wasn't any critical animation in that part.
There are female shamans (Sophia and Niime) in FE6. It's one of them using the Apocalypse spell.
YESZ!!
thats why are different games, are fire emblem 6: seal of swords, fire emblem 7: blazing sword and fire emblem 8: sacred stones.

...This image can be found in the dictionary, under "complete overkill."
You can also get ocean seal in the desert level where you meet Hawkeye
i just noticed that Ike's Aether special move is based on the Hero's critical attack!
JayZfromBrooklyn, to answer your question, its not the required lvl, but the required SKILL lvl for a certain weapon, and in your case, the sword. I'm not sure what you skill lvl must be to use the killing edge, but if you use the sword enough it will eventually say Weapon level up and keep doing that until you are able to equip the killing edge. ur welcome!
Lol Ninian! what cheat codes did you use to get her to use gespenst?
You can get him if you finish the Lagdou Ruins three times but only after finishing the game.
damn Blade Lord had to be my favorite. Lyn and Guy were always my strongest everytime i played through the game
This owns shadow dragon, which only has some golden glow, and perhaps some dramatic swinging here and there.
Awesome! I didnt know they had one for the SNES!!
It's a hack in which you get Nergal's book.
Since his weapon is not a "normal" or "Obtainable" weapon, anyone can utilize it, and I believe you can use the mine trick to obtain it.
O SHT NINIAN. How did you do that?! D:
And Lyn has some pretty badass criticals. ^_~
@JayZfromBrooklyn Killing Edge is a Rank C Sword so he needs to promote to Nmd Trooper
1:14 Shadow clone jutsu
It is King Zephial from the sequal first FE released in America. The sequal wasn't released however....
Roy, Josh and Lyn have badass criticals.
thats because Ike is a hero class, in fe 9 it says lord, but its the same person in fe 10 and it says hero
The only time I ever had a critical with Sol Katti was against the dragon in the final chapter. It was a finishing blow since it was almost dead.
Pretty cool. Did you hack to get some of those FE:SS characters (Namely Lyon and Selena) or am I just painfully ignorant of that game's secrets?
that must of taken a long time to make cuz Ive never seen the bosses use critical hits before. I liked the hack with ninian at the end
the archsage athos bit wasnt a critical, that was a basic attack, his critical is he holds his staff high in the air and it shines, followed by the attack
go to options> emulation setup> nds cartridge backup media and put it at flash 512kb then reset
Great video, although youtube let it down. Framerate here needs to be higher to appreciate the attention to detail that was put into these animations.
Awesome. But, humm, were they all taken from the same version? Or all different ones?
sword of seals was the 6th, and it was onbly released in Japan. A rom is available on the Internet but don't ask me how to get it.
Lyon joins you after the main storyline. Clear the Lagdou Ruins 3 times to get Lyon.
King was the biggest human sprite I ever saw, which FE game was that from?
I've never seen the Demon King use Ravager or critical, that was awesome, thanks :D
There are 2 female Druids in FE6: Sealed Sword named Niime and Sophia
This is not what is look like in my GBA when they crit
dude, youtube is 4 your own stuff, not the hard work of a bunch of other people...........but still, that aside. I LOVE THIS MONTAGE! Go Fire Emblem!
What about the tent critical? XD
awesome. ill never forget the adrenaline these critical animations gave me while i was travelling through lycia.
Man, I loved those games...
man i forgot how awesome these games were
I love the Ravager move the Demon King uses. I wish he used it more.
@rollglide your right that is not athos critical. His critical is when he lifts up his staff it sparkles, and then he uses his magic. But overall it was a great video! Lol nils would have been a better ending XD
i love how every one was a kill shot. Ps you missed a few like the archers and assasins
Athos' Forblaze wasn't a critical. His critical is when he raises his staff in the air with one hand then casts the spell.
@Quebec753
Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi (Sword Of Seals), the sixth FE game. A sequel to FE: Blazing Sword (The one with Lyn, Eliwood and Hector [also known as FE 7 or just FE]).
Never saw a release outside Japan, but there is a damn good translation patch available.
@Jpcristel I forgot to add that I was talking about the Horseman's critical with a bow. I have yet to see it with a sword.
get an ocean seal, from either a secret shop, or find it in the sand on the level you meet hawkeye
So I was listening to "Lyn's Desire" music last night and I randomly almost started crying :O
The Archsage bit isn't a crit, just a normal attack. Good job though, choice of music was well suiting too
Yeah, I noticed that mistake as well. I added a note in the video's description.
Wywerns and pegasus rider and falcoknight are missing!
I don't know Ninian's dance holds such awesome power O_o!!
with the emulator i just meant the "virtual boy advance", software to play gba games (roms) on your computer. for the translation follow rexstatic1's comment, you should find anything via google.
I always restart the game after a kickass critical to watch it again, even if it's the enemy's one lol.
If i were a character in the Fire Emblem series, I'd be a Hero. You gotta love everything about them. Crits, normal attacks, after attacks (spinny loopdie- loop)
i miss this game so much.
