Claustrophobia is actually a fear of feeling "trapped, " where escape may be difficult, or not be possible. It's not only of being trapped in small or confined spaces. Feeling "trapped," may include having your wrists bound, or being trapped in a "large" room where the door is locked from the outside. Also, large buildings, travelling by train, plane, ship, boat etc. In some people, agoraphobia and claustrophobia tend to overlap, meaning that these people suffer from both agoraphobia and claustrophobia, where panic/anxiety attacks are the main symptom of both of these conditions.
What if that place brings back abusive memories? (Brings back many triggers, as in the scene where Jenny goes to her childhood residence? Sorry, I know it is a movie reference and not wanting to trivialize the situations but I thought it was relatable to get the question/post/point across.
