I will continue to re watch this- I constantly need this reminder. Sometimes I just speak without thinking and then immediately have tons of anxiety, and I realize I just want the enjoyment of getting to chat or being involved. Being quiet can definitely save you from saying things that are just empty words (that do not glorify God in any way)

@erin9137 I 100% understand your struggle! I used to be a chronic over-sharer as well and would feel exactly the same after! Anxiety and feeling really unsure about what I said and now where I stand with this person, etc. If you don’t think before-you’ll overthink after!

@@MadalineMikayla Thank you for this video and mentioning that you have failed in this area in the past. It's an encouragement to me to recognize that oversharing and learning to be more discrete are things that can be worked on and improve upon. I used to think being private was a negative thing (as in it hindered relationships or made you seem less real to people- if that makes sense) but that really isn't the case, and God has been convicting me about my mouth lately. God bless you and I hope you continue uploading for women on your channel :)

Thank you, Maddy, you have no idea how much this pertains to me, personally, I need prayer for this deeply and continually. It is rare for me to come across encouraging content by other serious christian women online. Bless your walk today and the coming days.

Excellent video. Think of what you share with others, kind of like the rules that the medical profession lives by. It's on a need to know basis. If it's not something that pertains to them, and or not a totally essential need for them to know, then leave them out of it all together. And let's not forget; one cannot use the same mouth to Praise GOD, that's used to curse others.

You have good content that is based on your walk with God. I don't think you are a new believer. Your content is deeper - not what I've come to expect.
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to investigate a matter. (Proverbs 25:2 )
I have to ponder this. Your explanation sounds great. I want to think about this more.
This reminds me, how He hid from OT prophets that He would indwell believers; that His spirit would come and reside in his people, like when His presence was in the tabernacle.
