I’m about to do mine tomorrow morning. 2010 escape 4cyl. I already replaced every sensor and most of the EVAP under the hood. The pump is all I’m thinking is left to take a look at. My vehicle runs fine but it stalls on occasion when I ride at low idle speeds or at stop signs. Also I didn’t get any pressure of gas when I changes my fuel pressure sensor which was interesting 💡
@@89G well after sleeping, i woke up realizing my problem was simply the valve cover gasket. Your video gave me the discernment and motivation to do what I had been avoiding for months. The sensor between the 2nd and 3rd spark plug coil on top was almost soaked in oil. I cleaned that connector with Q tips and air till it was clean. I also added some electrical grease to the connectors. Put the new gasket on and cleaned the valve cover as well. Because of this oil on the connector, my vehicle will stall and shut off especially at stop signs or stop and go traffic. I literally changed so many other sensors that were not needed. But I’m good now thanks for all the help of your video. My 2010 escape runs like new 👍🏽. (In Reference to Youre valve cover gasket video on your channel)
@@FitnessPlanB that is fantastic news! Great detective work finding the solution to your problem. I'm glad it was found! Thank you for sharing that feedback on your results.
Great repair! I was so jealous when you didn’t have to bring down the darn tank to get to the pump 😂!!! The Fox and everything I own needs that. Another thing to that could be causing the fuel pressure loss is leaking injectors, that happened to me already 🤦♂️
Great job on this. It seems every time I have a car issue that’s a major, The gas tank is full. Luckily that has a hatch for access. First time I seen an access hatch I think was a Toyota Camry. Sorry delayed comment. I watched this Monday and forgot. 🤦🏻♂️
I really appreciate your support BSS! Delayed comment is just fine with me. This definitely makes it easier to replace a pump... doesn't matter how full it is!
I am about to start the fuel pump replacement on '13 Escape. I watched a few times. My only clarification is you go to the driver door. Driver seat is the seat that has the access panel? Thanx in advance.
Great video! I am going to replace my fuel pump, where did you purchase the pump? There seems to be a lot of options in the internet with a wide array of prices.
The best you guys can before replace your fuel pump is wash right there to have clean with water. not the way his doing, I'm wash with water mine now look clean like new fuel tank

What is the pressure that you are seeing?

Awesome video! The access hatch really makes things handy. I'm surprised it took so long to become an industry standardized tbh. Great job as always!
I agree. It's a real time saver to have the access like that. Thank you for your support!
Nice video. I'm doing a 2012 Escape 2.5 this weekend.
Thank you. It's super simple for an in-tank setup. Much better than dropping the tank! Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions.

Gotta be careful with leaky injectors. The Fox's aren't nearly as bad as my truck will be, lol.

@@nicksaroli2177 I put a link to the exact pump that I used in the description. It's been a great pump! Thank you for watching!
