Marianne is one of my favourite female singers of the 60s.Her stories fasinate me .she gone through hell and back and still alive to tell her stories.Marianne your one cool person 👍☯️☮️💖🦋🌻💖✌✊Love you.A True Fan💓
Fico feliz pela superação. Fiquei triste e curioso em saber sobre Marianne por ler um comentário sobre o envolvimento em drogas. Hoje dia 27 de setembro de 2024 fiquei feliz por saber que superou tudo. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Saúde e vida longa a Marianne!!! Desde Maceió - BRASIL.
She may be fading, but she still has one more voice to share: if the ''Ballad of Lucy Jordon'' somehow mirrors the life of Marianne, then the youth of today could learn from that experience. It is never too late to feel the warm wind in your hair. You may go off the rails, but you are an extraordinary being in a chaotic world.
I remember her for her song "Dreaming my Dreams", which was a huge hit here in Ireland, and as far as I remember did not make a big impression anywhere else, absolutely loved her voice in that song, her talent was largely overshadowed by her lifestyle, but she had some fantastic songs, Lucy Jordan was also a classic song, Wishing her the best
Her greatest accomplishment is getting her life back, after yrs of drug abuse.probably over at least 20 yrs sobriety! NOW THATS A ACCOMPLISHMENT a plus she wrote a book.Yrs ago I’ve it about her past…..WOW PUT THOSE BLINDERS ON!
I have loved her singing, as now also 77, and when I was able to buy her early numbers on CDs, I added to my library with those also. And I do hope the best for her.
I love her. she is so strong! I was so worried when she had covid. It's a sorry thing that it robbed her of her voice. I was so relieved when she escaped with her life!
I never knew much of her voice but as tears go by” and the hits of Broken English “ which was truly ahead of its time in my opinion! Hopefully she’ll return to singing. But not until she healthy & well for her age…..
I will always love maryann faithful born in 1948 i grew up listening to all the English rock groups i often listen to my very fav song this little bird i do cry it touches my soul love you maryann cathy Robitaille Dartmouth nova scotia Canada
Vinyl is still big and now would be a good time for her to have it all pressed and re issued!! All of her stuff specially, “It’s all over now, Baby Blue…” We are in a time where music like this will resonate with everyone…
Frankly, she was a mediocre pop singer in the 1960s. As an extraordinarily wiser singer in the 1980s she defined self-awareness, integrity, and honesty.
This is one poorly produced video bio on her. The narration could have been much shorter and more efficent instead of repeating things like " the Stones inner circle" blah blah blah. Respect the artist ! She lived a life few can imagine or endure, going from high to low to high to low and now survives still to give us more song and art.
Sister Morphine is not about her battle with addiction. As she has stated it is about a man lying in the hospital and dying after a car accident. This video is sloppy and rife with inaccuracies! Absolute rubbish!
I always downvote stuff that are not what the video title say. This should have been something like "a life history of Marianne Faithful", not a title about her singing again.
She had a beautiful face and voice when she was young. The voice changed to a raspy unpleasant sound. Her face and voice are the most disappointing changes in human history.
One of my favourite singer’s. The ballad of Lucy Jordan is her best. I admire her determination, a quality inherited from her noble ancestry.
What a gorgeous woman, talented.
I have always loved her music, Ballad of Lucy Jordan is pure magic, thankyou Marianne ❤

I have all of her original DECCA 60's LP'S and they are fantastic.

Her voice changed after her struggles.
Still a voice so beautiful. 😊❤
Love her. Been a fan from the beginning.❤❤❤. Her voice changed so much over the years. Still a fan

I always my idol I was obsessed with her and so many people comment on how I looked like her ..I am 75 yrs and fighting fit 😅 I still adore her ❤
Her eyes never changed....still the same girl all of us boys worshipped during the sixties and all of her life.
"As Tears Goes By" and "Summer Nights" are my favorites from that era, still great tunes.
She was young beautiful and talented. TEARS GONE BY was a classic .
I often channel Marianne and the lovely Summer Nights. The song, and Marianne are perfection.
Her singing voice was great to begin with and only got better as she matured.
A rare quality.
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
She weathered the storm, very well.❤ Marianne is still loved. I am glad.
We missed you Marian, can't wait for your return. The ballad of Luicy Jordan ... you are great!
I remember her for her song "Dreaming my Dreams", which was a huge hit here in Ireland, and as far as I remember did not make a big impression anywhere else, absolutely loved her voice in that song, her talent was largely overshadowed by her lifestyle, but she had some fantastic songs, Lucy Jordan was also a classic song,

Her courage to come back ,she is courageous! Thats a great thing that will let her get back in track ❤
She is Amazing! Kissing Time and Vagabond Ways are great albums which you should check out!

A survivor

Marianne Faithfull will sing again. She singing now.. She's working on a new album with her grandson Nicolas Dunbar and Nick cave and Warren Ellis,
❤
Hope this is true and it gets released!
Fuckin great
This os the best news ever ❤ Thank you for sharing. Love from South Africa
She’s in an exclusive celebrity care home for the elderly, in London, with mostly writers and visual artists.
Marianne has been in sobriety for the last twenty years now, what a courageous Lady! ❤
dias del recuerdo: gracias muchas por los mixes,.. You TUBE y Google y a todos los inmersos EN las músicas de antaño,... GRACIAS Mariane...........
She was the best of the best - a magic lady.
She has a voice you either love or hate!!
Beautiful 😍 loved this little bird

Blessings to Marianne -
I love you Mariane faithful!
She actually grew up in a tiny terraced house in Reading.
And seeing her now I fear she will ever again!
Vinyl is still big and now would be a good time for her to have it all pressed and re issued!! All of her stuff specially, “It’s all over now, Baby Blue…” We are in a time where music like this will resonate with everyone…
Why did you do what you did , best song ever .
Kár, hogy szétdrogozta, szétpiálta a gyönyörű hangját.
Igen, más lett, de igy is különleges, èn nem ismertem őt, csak pár èv óta. Igy szeretem! 👍
I feel sorry for her, poor thing.
Frankly, she was a mediocre pop singer in the 1960s. As an extraordinarily wiser singer in the 1980s she defined self-awareness, integrity, and honesty.
You didn’t mention her appearance in the 1980 floor show with David Bowie singing I got you babe dressed as a nun.
❤❤❤
I can relate. I fear I won't ever hang drywall again
I think it is okay to retire from singing at 77. All right, her ex Mick is still singing at 80, but he is in a known group.
This is one poorly produced video bio on her. The narration could have been much shorter and more efficent instead of repeating things like " the Stones inner circle" blah blah blah. Respect the artist ! She lived a life few can imagine or endure, going from high to low to high to low and now survives still to give us more song and art.
she did not appear in Performance,
Not a bit of truth in the headline Click bait as usual
She did not act along side Mick Jagger in Performance. Pretty sloppy.
Right, they are confusing her with Anita Pallenberg
It was Anita Pallenberg
And Mick Jagger wasn't in her Hamlet, either! (Can you imagine?)
Sister Morphine is not about her battle with addiction. As she has stated it is about a man lying in the hospital and dying after a car accident. This video is sloppy and rife with inaccuracies! Absolute rubbish!
Glad you said this. Damn narrators! Making poor Marianne look worse than she was even !
The song is hardly about a car crash she is full of **it.
❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

What the fuck.I thought this was going to be an interview Strewth!
Does she still smoke cigarettes ?
She could easily have ended up in the Club 27. Fortunately she didn't.
Cigarettes and booze destroyed her voice..
Csak más lett! 👍
AI BS
She had a beautiful face and voice when she was young. The voice changed to a raspy unpleasant sound.
Her face and voice are the most disappointing changes in human history.
Just like the rest of us then - you included.
What human history have you studied to make such a ludicrous statement?
Don't worry, she could never sing in the first place!
Yes she could and still can. She's actually working on a new album for 2024. 😝
@roderickcharles81 .Now Now Jealously Will Get You No where.☮️☯️✌👍🤞✊💖🦋🕊🌻👋
If you don't like her why did you even watch???
Let’s hope that that she stays silent…😂
I love you !!!! I love you !!! I love you !!!!cxcxv
