She's not just any teacher on UA-cam who's videos i watch to improve my English but she's that person who inspires and motivate me to learn more and more about English everyday thank you so much ma'am 😊 keep shining 🌟🌟
Your videos have really helped me to improve my listening and pronunciation skill. I appreciate you from core of my heart. Stay happy and healthy forever.
Learning with you is always a pleasure, Ms. Lucy. Thanks immensely to you for putting in so much of honest efforts to make your lessons so interesting and easily understandable. Sincere regards and best wishes to you always.
Nice one Lucy. I got 5/5 but I have to admit I often struggle with that one, especially because I work with both English and American colleagues 🙂. Another one which I found tricky is whether to use singular or plural after every+noun and each+noun
@@geoffraygregoire3220thank you. English is not my native language so I thought it could be something else. You could edit your answer, then. Make it right. ;)
I'd like to admit that I'm still learning english and not sufficiently good at english. But,in my knowledge, you have to use singular noun after every and each.
Thank you for this video, Lucy! Maybe you can also do a video on the if-clauses. In AE it has become super common to say: 'If I would have known this I would have done it differently'. Also people tend to skip the past perfect saying something like: 'If I knew this I would have done it differently' instead of 'If I had known this I would have done it differently.'
(Native speaker from south USA), You explain things well. After I finish this video I will go looking for one on who/whom. I mostly get it right if it is obvious like the object of a preposition, but in some cases I'm not sure.
As American I am always jealous in how great the British English pronountation sounds! Well done Lucy, your presence (vocal and visual) on the screen rocks!
Thank you. It's a little complicated for my grade 1 to 3 kids, but I think they will get value from it. I have sent them the link via Google Class (with a suggestion the 'like' the video). This is the first time I've seen your work - It's nice.
Learning English with you isn't complicated anymore. Thanks for everything. And I got 5 out of 5 after watching your video. That was really helpful and useful. Waiting for you to respond me. That would be a great pleasure.
7:42 This always intervened with my confidence because I tend to stop and thinking when I realize 'ohh it's more than one, I should change it's - causing me to rephrase my sentence but most of the time, awkwardly. During school I learned British English but as I'm growing older, I realize I'm actually using American English 🤭

Not "who's videos', "whose videos"

I would say "Had I known this, I would have done it differently" - just a different way of saying it.
@steveknight878 I like yours better. The whole phrase implied a silent "if." It's just my thought.
