Dear Rebecca. I can't believe what a great teacher you are!!! Could you please explain what to use when you use a few or few with there is or there are and also by themselves in sentences? I have few time ? How about a lot. Is it always there are? I've heard people saying, there's people who don't want to be nice for example.
Collective nouns can be both singular and plural. The difference *between collective nouns and other countable nouns is that after a singular group noun (especially in British English) there is often a choice between a singular and plural verb, for example: 'The crowd was/were delighted by the actor's performance.
Could you make a video explaining the difference between there is and it is, please? Specifically my question is: if we use “it” when we’re talking about the weather how come the sentence like “There was a storm last night “ is correct? If this sentence is about the existence of storm, isn’t the following sentence about the existence as well: “It was a nice day yesterday”, but in this one we use “it”, not “there”
Thank you so much, Teacher Rebeca I took the lesson ten minutes per day do you have another program like that? Let me know thank you again God bless you.
Thank you for video, could you explain this one. What do you think about there is and there are number of, which one is correct. One teacher said it’s there is a number of , because we look at the first word “number” , another teacher said there are because in sentence there are a number of beautiful places, places is plural
Teacher, excellent class, Thank you por Teach us. I didn´t understand one thing: In the irregular nouns, when you tell about the fish,: There are some fish ,why don´t put at the end s, fishes ?
Thanks for watching, everyone! Make sure to watch my video about IS or ARE: ua-cam.com/video/eqg0STvbp1g/v-deo.html
