I believe you were still in high school, and as I recall (I THINK, though hindsight doesn't serve me in a 20/20 fashion) you wore a Cephalic Carnage t-shirt as you absolutely shredded on your kit. You and your band killed it that evening, and you continue to kill it today with ATB. Congratulations on being able to play for a living; it's the real "American Dream".
Btw, the two hi-hat setup was pretty neat too, don't think I've seen anyone play with two hats side by side like that. Normally they're on the opposite side of each other.

It's just too bad they never play endless March. And not to mention they never play this live. Not sure if the record label makes them play just popular songs buts it upsets me a great deal to not see one of the most insane killer guitar work, fast pace drumming and two very impactful metal breakdowsn yet it's not played live... C'mon man please..I go to these shows and hope for the best to just be disappointed
And with this song he makes it literally impossible for 95% of drummers to play this song exactly due to the fact that he has 2 hi-hats and plays double bass with a closed hi-hat, then half open one later.

Jojo Mayer had a similar set up, although his second pair were on the opposite side, closer to the toms.
Josh Feeney Gene's been doing this on his kits since Fear Factory I think, I see a similar setup in a few videos
