A WINNER. Amazing. I cooked most in glass casserole & addition in loaf pan which were crisp. My husband like them soft which the casserole did that. My advice is to watch the video & prep ingredients making it easy to follow. Jill. Thank you.
Thank GOD for your kindness to us who can't right now even afford the 5 dollar membership fee, I am going to join as soon as I am able, I want this for my BIRTHDAY
I love your enthusiasm for your recipes and eating the finished product. Tip my mum taught me to get all the tomato paste out of those little cans. Take the lids off both ends then use one of the lids to push through the entire contents!
I'm a little late to the party, but I have a suggestion. If you pour a little of the red sauce in the bottom of the pan first, it keeps them from sticking.
AMAZING. Will make again soon! I made this for my omnivore parents and we all loved it. Only changes I made - I added a little chili powder and pinch of cayenne to the filling and mashed the beans slightly. Also I had green cabbage on hand so I used green instead of red.
I wish there were a way I could just do a global “like” for all of your videos!!! I’ve been vegan/veg/high raw etc throughout my life and have used many cookbooks and recipes, I’m putting you at the top of my list as a resource! I especially like that my carnivorous husband likes the recipes too! Thank you!!!! ❤🎉
It turned out delicious and wholesome. I skipped on the wrapping the beans, and poured the 'cheese' straight over the beans and baked, and I loved it that way. I am enjoying it with the Quiche you also posted on the UA-cam. Updated. The chef knows the best. The dish is definitely better wrapped in the taco and baked (1-2-2021). Follow Jill's instruction.
These were delicious! I made the bean mix the day before. Absolutely LOVED the tomato sauce and the 'cheese' sauce tops it off perfectly! Jill, you've made plant-based eating exciting!!!
I’m Mexican and I make my own traditional red sauce but I stuff my enchiladas with diced cooked potatoes with a little bit of the red sauce, to add some flavor, and serve them with chopped lettuce on top and some vegan cream. 😋😋
These are so amazing! I made them for dinner tonight and my husband rated them 15/10! When I was making them I was a little skeptical about how watery the cashew sauce was, but they turned out perfect. Great recipe 😊
Hi Jill just signed for the 28 program and I’m super pumped. So glad I ran into your channel,I was running kinda blind with my vegan journey so thank you and I really appreciate and love your show☮️❤️
Best enchiladas of my life! Such a hearty delicious and nutritious meal. And my partner, who doesn't usually like cabbage, loved these! What a creative way to include such an antioxidant-rich and affordable food! :D
Made it this morning! It was better than I expected! I love the way the runny cheese sauce ended up firming into a thick but creamy layer, kind of like the ricotta layer in a lasagna. Even though it looks like a lot of cheese sauce before baking I think I may go with even MORE sauce the next time I prepare this to make that creamy layer a bit thicker. The cabbage did taste a bit vinegary (like sauerkraut) in the recipe which was okay by me, but others may want to leave that out for a more traditional flavor.
Thank you so much Jill. I made this yesterday and it was delicious. I had to substitute spinach for the red cabbage. I was a bit concerned as it smelled a bit weird, but the taste was out of this world
I am looking forward to getting my cookbook I ordered on Amazon October 23rd it arrives December 22 it was a wait but I am excited about jumping into it.
Since I am typically cooking for just one how would I go about freezing this or something so I can have this incredible looking meal!? I found you today and I have a feeling I am going to lose myself on your site and videos! I am pretty sure you're my new favorite!!
Ordering your cookbook now! Merry Christmas to me 😊. Those enchiladas look AMAZING! I think I just figured out what we’ll be having for dinner tomorrow night.
LOOKS DELICIOUS!! I TRIED YOUR RECEIPE FOR CHILI WITH SPINACH AND WAS IT GOOD!! I'M NEW TO PLANT BASED EATING HOWEVER YOU MAKE IT SEEM PAINLESS AND ENJOYABLE❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
My husband loves..loves..loves these. He came into the kitchen and counted them and said we are going to have each one ever day for 3 more days! He never really care and just eats what ever SOS item I make. You are fantastic thank you, thank you and thank you!!
It's your infectious enthusiasm that caused me to make these. You're right! They are super delicious!! I prepared the enchiladas as you did in the video, but if I'm staying away from vinegar, I could probably double the lemon juice and omit the vinegar, don't ya think?
I ordered your cookbook from Amazon, but looks like it will not arrive till mid December. Well worth the wait! Hoping that this recipe is included in the cookbook.
Just made them, thank you for the recipe. I upped the garlic and added potatoes to my cheese sauce. I thought it would be overwhelming, as it seemed like a lot of steps, but it really wasn’t. The only bummer was I used rice tortillas for half and when it was cooked, I could no longer tell which side was which. - my bad 🤦♀️
I am totally making these. I might be too busy (read: lazy) for the vegan cheese sauce, but I'll sprinkle on some sort of vegan cheese. I will probably top with tofuit sour cream and jalapeno slices.
I don’t think non Latin people realize enchiladas don’t have tomatoes in the sauce but chili sauce. I make vegan enchiladas with chili guajillo, vegan cheese, and my filling with mashed pinto beans. It really isn’t hard to change up. Sometimes no vegan cheese.
I have a silly question. Since switching to this healthier lifestyle, have you gotten calmer or have you always been a calm person? You have a peace about you 😌
I made these today! I used a cole slaw bag from the produce section and beyond meat ground beef. I also used my homemade Worcestershire sauce (sugar free, gluten free, vegan) because I love Worcestershire sauce. They were so good!! Btw, we ate all of them.
With corn tortillas you have to partially cook them in hot oil first. This makes them pliable and seals the tortillas so they don't turn into corn mush in your pan.
I really appreciate your show. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents. Was wondering what kind of flax tortilla you were you were using. What brand and where to get them. Thank you.
Hello 👋 New to plant based. Just started the 28 days. Cabbage has always been a problem for me. Is there a substitute? Or because I'm going plant based it will balance out? Thanks for any advice given. Also with tomatoes. But I'm learning to work around them. Wish me luck!
I think after a while your body will adjust. It takes a while for your boy to heal its gut biome if you haven’t eaten well in the past. You can always change out recipes for others on our website. The course is completely adjustable.
My family does tamales rice and beans for Christmas eve after mass how can I make everthing plant based for myself the rest of our family is not plant based I am ind admiration of your show Iv bean lant based for 4 months
Hi I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while now and I’ve noticed that you don’t use any salt in any of your recipes how do you get enough iodine?
A WINNER. Amazing. I cooked most in glass casserole & addition in loaf pan which were crisp. My husband like them soft which the casserole did that. My advice is to watch the video & prep ingredients making it easy to follow. Jill. Thank you.
Hi Jill, question about your wraps, where fo you find the Flaxseed wraps? Do they have oil in them?

Well done!

Yum ❤️
making this tonight. smells so good.
Tomato paste hack: if you open BOTH sides of the can, you can actually push out the paste easily from one side. Much easier than spooning it out.
These are so amazing! I made them for dinner tonight and my husband rated them 15/10! When I was making them I was a little skeptical about how watery the cashew sauce was, but they turned out perfect. Great recipe 😊

Wow I love ya recipes and the way you cook them oil free cause I have to avoid oil
I make these frequently! Making them tonight
Tried this tonight and two of us almost ate the whole pan. Excellent recipe! Thanks again for another oil free plant based recipe.

Thanks for giving a shout-out to my little sister!! She was so happy when she heard this video!
You’re so welcome! ❤️
Thank you so much Jill. I made this yesterday and it was delicious. I had to substitute spinach for the red cabbage. I was a bit concerned as it smelled a bit weird, but the taste was out of this world

This recipe was my Christmas dinner. Jill, it is very good. Thank you and have a very merry Christmas.

Looks delicious
I'm actually prepping this delicious dish right now. The bean and cheese enchiladas were amazing, i cooked that dish yesterday. Thank you. ❤
Since I am typically cooking for just one how would I go about freezing this or something so I can have this incredible looking meal!?
I found you today and I have a feeling I am going to lose myself on your site and videos! I am pretty sure you're my new favorite!!
You could split up the enchiladas into bread pans and then bake.👍
LOVE vegan enchiladas! I can't wait to try this one...looks absolutely delicious!
Ordering your cookbook now! Merry Christmas to me 😊. Those enchiladas look AMAZING! I think I just figured out what we’ll be having for dinner tomorrow night.

Oh that looks soooooo good.
I ordered your cookbook from Amazon, but looks like it will not arrive till mid December. Well worth the wait! Hoping that this recipe is included in the cookbook.

I will make this tomorrow! 🫔🫔🫔🫔 🫔 You forgot the "open both ends of the tomato paste can" hack.
Thanks for this new recipe! I look forward to trying this. Peppers aren't in season here, so I need to think of what to use instead

I think this is more of an entomatada. It’s like an enchilada, but it doesn’t have Chile and is made with tomatoes. Looks great though!

I think it has helped my emotional state to be more level and consistent. ❤️
Ikr she does I feel like she’s like the best mom
Never had enchiladas in my life... It looks amazing! I actually wanted to see how you pull one out of the big tray, it seems kind of tricky... 😅
What is the name brand of your blender?
I made these today! I used a cole slaw bag from the produce section and beyond meat ground beef. I also used my homemade Worcestershire sauce (sugar free, gluten free, vegan) because I love Worcestershire sauce.
They were so good!! Btw, we ate all of them.
Would you mind sharing your Worcestershire sauce recipe. Thanks so much.
With corn tortillas you have to partially cook them in hot oil first. This makes them pliable and seals the tortillas so they don't turn into corn mush in your pan.
This recipe is not authentic, but is awesome since you used the entire can of tomato paste. No waste!
HEYYYYYY it's me elisha naomi's sister and I LOVE YOUR FOOD (we made your oreo cake)
Can you tell us what kind of food processor you’re using with that easy lid please?
I am new to your channel and to the wfpb diet and this looks amazing!! As I’m typing this, I am printing the recipe. Lol! Thank you for sharing
I really appreciate your show. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents. Was wondering what kind of flax tortilla you were you were using. What brand and where to get them. Thank you.

@@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow thanks. They looked so good, but are not glutenfree.
I will definitely be making this. What is the appliance you are cooking on please?
It is just a hot plate so I can film on the counter. It works better on the stove 👍
I really need to try this recipe! Thanks, Jill. 😉
😇💞💞💞💞💞Thank you so much.
This looks really good. Can you tell me where you get the wrap from?I want to buy some.
The wraps are from Whole Foods 👍
Enchiladas sauce is made out of dry red chiles, if we use tomato sauce instead are entomatadas.
What brand of tortillas do you use please?
What can I use in place of the nuts??
You can use tofu

What kind of blender do you use? My old school Ninja cant get things like cashews smooth. Honestly, it can't get greens blended down much either.
I have a Blendtec Professional 800 and a Nutribullet Pro. They are both work horses👍
I have a high speed Vitamix, Blentec and Vitamix are both high speed blenders. They make everything very smooth.
I would add sweet potatoes.
Can you replace the nuts with beans. If so how much?
Yes, same amount
OMG I am drooling here at 7am!! well done chef Jill you did it again. I am making this for sure, I will add rice to mine if you don't mind :-)

What temperature

Hi I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while now and I’ve noticed that you don’t use any salt in any of your recipes how do you get enough iodine?
I take sea moss capsules and I use kombu in some of my vegetable broth. I also make California rolls with nori occasionally.
