    This has to be one of my favorite builds ever. Absolutely incredible

    Amazing, your work should be in a museum, after its been used of course. The fuel cell sitting on the table was giving me 80s cartoon transformers vibes.

    Bowler were first to use a hydraulic jacking system it was fitted to the centre of the vehicle thar akso acts as the transmission skid plate it used just one ram thar pivots the jack which looked like two hockey sticks with cross braces and the skid plate and could lift front, rear or both it dropped from hinges to the front of the chassis so it lifts more or less centrally.

    The attention to detail, even at the "what-if"
    level. Such a boost to driver confidence. Amazing work as always.

    I get something huge just knowing a sheet metal video is coming, no pun intended. You're right when you said most builders enjoy that work.

    Tell Joey to hit me up. There are productive ways to do build updates differently that would convey the same info and not suck so much time to complete. Love these guys, keep em coming

    Absolutely beautiful metal work. Maybe in future you just teach the FUTURE how to do this lost artwork. I spent 7 years in sheetmetal learning. But nothing like what you do .truly artwork to look at

    You want to do as I have albeit I only build and modify 5th scale gas and 6th & 7th scale electric truck and buggy models I had 3D printed copies of what I want to use on each vehicle and scale as per your builds, makes life so much easier the shocks and bump stops are identical to 1-1 vehicles in type and scale.
    Yeaah love these run downs, thinking of doing the same with my builds.

    I love that time breakdown. The farther you get on the project the fewer options you are left with. Your envelope shrinks which makes it more difficult.

    How about putting the lower jack on a pivot pin that way you could slide it down pivot it out away from top mount and slide it back out. Similarly to how you inserted the ruler but in reverse. Just a thought.

    Awesome build as usual. I’ve been toying with an idea, of putting switches into the gear shift nob, like a joystick or throttle on a fighter plane. So the most frequently used switches are in there. You could also put a mouse control in there for your I-pads. When you’re holding something while shaking around on rough terrain your fingers are still pretty quiet. Just a thought. Keep up the amazing Work!

  • @NTK_FabWorks

    The craftsmanship on this incredible. I’m confused about the fuel cell though… you called it a “fuel cell” but showed the corner joints and demonstrated it leaking swimmers… Would it not be called a fuel bank at that point? Either way, absolutely killer work and the forethought that goes into everything is commendable. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🍆💦💦

    • @MorganClarkeDesign1
      @MorganClarkeDesign1  9 місяців тому +1

      I really have not figured out if that is even real life with how crude the design is. With Elons capabilities it bums me out that’s the direction he went. Usually some car design takes a bit of time to grow on us, this one is not like that. No for me.
