Morgan, this is John. I’m sorry our project didn’t work, after the passing of my wife, I do love your work to help James!, You are a good person and you are blessed!!
Most Under-rated channel, Ever... Started following a couple years ago. Thanks for putting out the content and hopefully once James starts ripping this Masterpiece the Terra Crew following will finally show you some love. Keep killing it Morgan.
Morgan Clark Designs is building some awesome trucks these days I see. Thank You for spending your time showing us your handywork! I drool for at least an hour a day over the trucks you build. I am really old LOL and still have yet to build a proper prerunner. I wasted all of my money on a 2017 Ford Raptor that breaks down all the time and wish I just had my 88 Ford Ranger "Gutter Truck" back. That thing would have run circles around the Raptor (what a joke). Anyhow give you props for the passion, hard work ethic, donating to James and his Frontier....Hit me up when you guys want to Dune it at PISMO..my closest sandbox. I will keep watching for updates to see the frontier, cant wait!
Thanks Nick. I don’t talk much about the sacrifices of this build. I don’t need to. When people wonder why it’s not done there’s a reason. It will be a beautiful thing to see ripping for years to come!
This has been my favorite build of yours to follow because James deserves it so much. Gonna be an awesome rig when she’s out in the desert doing her thing.
It’s gonna be awesome and huge when the frontier is done! That truck goes back for me just in the fact of the days of the early 2000’s when I would hear and see James romping around ocotillo in the truck! When the frontier was like one of only a few prerunners out there! Thought it was the sickest truck and it was just a long travel kit and deavers and glass! Dirt alliance was the crave! lol.
A build like this takes so much forethought and understanding of the process/how things will interact with each other. A lot of craftsmanship and it shows. James is going to have one hell of a ride when this thing is complete.
I love to see how you expressed your concern on figuring things out. You have the skills and knowledge and a lot of times you just have to start doing it and figure it out. As I start my rock crawler build there are new things I have never done before and I start stressing a mind getting in my own head about. I know I will figure it out. I love to see your work progress and though process on these builds.
That would be cool! We have a couple projects that would be interesting to show & an event like that. This truck will get the piss beat out of it, that’s a guarantee. It’s nice to see trucks shiny on the street, but there’s nothing better than seeing them be heavily used time after time in the desert.
No doubt. They wouldn't know what to think. Panel fitment _ Perfect. Tube work _ Perfect. Design _ Perfect. Honestly just Amazing craftsmanship all around. This level of skill, fab and execution is priceless.
Morgan your attention to detail and making things right is outstanding. The Car is a work of art you & your guys can be proud of. I wish the guys I work with took it as serious as we do. Keep up the good work can’t wait to see the finished product.
It’s all a journey & a process. Being grateful for the steps along the way, enjoying as many moments as we can, accepting the stress & anxiety.. all of it is part of the story. The story is what makes life worth living.
I know I'm not as excited as James, but I'm DAM excited for this to be finished. It looks huge sitting there, but we had one in the shop a while ago, and it's small. Fantastic work.
Killer video man. Your metal work is next level. These videos inspire me to go out and work on my stuff and take the time to make something I'm proud of.
When you first acquired JAMES NISSEN You stated that one of your important parts was PLUMBING and when the time comes to that section I think it’s so important to feature it a FabDiaries !! Please do so ! As I had late in the late 70s and 80s a company the service near all formula one car teams rally car teams and most drag cars around uk & Europe !! My passion ! Cheers Brian
you ever pimped out a Ford excursion with the 7.3 power stroke diesel into a runner 🤷♂️ Or a 96 jeep XJ by any chance So just a ballpark how much money we would be talking about And I feel like you’re booked like years
Awesome work Morgan I love looking at all the fab work done on that truck it’s and absolute work of art. As a fabricator of heavy equipment repair I wish I had those skills. I also have to stop watching this I’ve already been pricing coils and bypasses lol.
Dude insane work as usual. How there isn’t more views on this stuff is unreal to me. Every video is such a highlight. Thanks for taking the time to make stuff like this. I know it takes so much time to make these and you have so much going on everyday. I know this probably isn’t something you want to share maybe or maybe is better for a fab diaries or something but maybe some finish weld technique and filler type and sizes and stuff? Either way
Thanks Mitchell! At the end of the day we are still a niche genre… if it’s not a running driving vehicle or drama it just won’t attract as many viewers. We are essentially just getting started. The channel is a passion project to share the story of MCD1 & the process to the projects. If it grows it grows. If it doesn’t that’s okay too!! It won’t detour us from sharing our story. Thanks for the support!! We have a fab diaries scheduled for finish welding & info on technique/material. I have no secrets… we will share everything we know with you guys
Preach about the family stuff! Like everything before kids is just practice and life levels up with kids! Also what about routing the air filter inside behind the com’s?
Thanks Scott!! Air filter inside would take up more room than we have. It also won’t be getting too much air flow with the cabin being sealed. Something to also note, interior air filters in non race applications are extremely loud. Not the cool loud, the annoying loud
Hey man hope life is grand. I came across an article about supporting streamline tubing (aero) with square tubing slipped inside and welded to each end. Not sure if they did plug welds along the length or not but just wondering if you have seen, heard or used this method before. Cheers dude thank for all the info as always.
Hey Greg. very interesting concept there. I don’t know what the purpose of that would be other than to aesthetically but an aero tube somewhere it maybe shouldn’t be. If constructed properly, aero tube does not need any secondary support. You must understand & engineer the orientation & layout of the part/project it’s going in.
@MORGAN CLARKE DESIGN yes the research article was trying to exceed the standard stress limitations of the aero tube without failure...thanks for the reply. Any areas of research you could suggest for a noob to aero tube? coming up short with my googling. Cheers
Looking good Morgan! 👍🏻 I know a lot of guys thought this was going to happen faster but as some of us know these take time. I think you’re doing a good job explaining all the details of why it takes so long. I am curious is that throttle cable is in its final home? Wondering if it could be hidden or rerouted with linkage to better hide it?
Morgan, this is John. I’m sorry our project didn’t work, after the passing of my wife, I do love your work to help James!,
You are a good person and you are blessed!!
Sorry again for your loss John!! I know your up there!! Hope all is well!! & thank you for the continued support
Hands down one of the best craftsman of our time!
Those are big shoes to fill. Thank you. I feel like I’m operating at 58% right now. Maybe 63%.. can’t wait to get up in the 80-90% range.
MCD1 is giving this truck a soul and it's no easy feat!
Thank you. I feel the same way. We have a thing for putting soul into these things.

Fantastic commitment. Very impressive engineering and thought throughout this build. Thanks for taking the time to shoot these updates.
Thank you. I love sharing this stuff. It’s worth the investment..
Such a beautiful truck. Love the homage to the Hardbody hoods, like Roger Mear and Spencer Low's back in the day.

Amazing job with the packaging on this build 👏
It’s a get in where you fit in kind of space! Thank you
It would be amazing to enter this into a high end roadster show. It would blow some minds.

@2:22 😊 Best Part of the video ! 😊
Next level as usual! I’m surprised you don’t have 2M subscribers but at the same time glad you don’t. Keep up the good work man!

Brian! Absolutely! It’s a time consuming process (as most of this is) & a very satisfying process. We will cover it for sure with fab diaries as well.

Could go into more details on the mounts for the winch please. All 3 mounting points. Thank you! Great videos 🤘🏽
Yes. The back was so blown apart I left the winch mounts out of it. The next episode will cover them👊🏿

Very nice work. One thing did stick out to me and that was the throttle cable. Is that temporary or permanent? Seems like a pretty good snag hazard
That’s where she lives. The interior is raw dog. If it seems like a snag of any sort we will shield it.
And thank you!!
