  • Welcome aboard!
    As you all know, I recently moved to the US for a legacy pilot job. I must say that after having worked here for 6 months, this is by far the best job I have ever worked! In this video, I explained my first impressions of working in the United States of America as a legacy airline pilot. This video is very informative for those who are willing to work in the US. I hope you will enjoy the video! As usual, you can send your opinion about the video through the comments. I would appreciate if you like and share this video as well as subscribe my channel.

    Merhaba Hocam, I am both a US and Turkish citizen. Currently I am at a crossroads on where I can continue for aviation. I am currently at 300 hours of TT and am about to complete my CPL in the US. I have a Turkish PPL, but because of COVID, I had to return to the United States because my school closed in Turkey and now my ATPL Theory training certificate expired.
    Would you recommend just getting my hours in the US as a CFI up to 1500 hours? Or go back to Turkey and redo my ATPL Theory examinations again and finish up with a ATO for CPL/IR/ME. Then join a Turkish airline, THY/SunExpress/Pegasus?

    Can you do a video on a comparison between Delta, United and American. I understand that Delta’s profit sharing scheme is worth about 60k dollars a year at the moment for Pilots which is massive in comparison to the other 2 but it would still be interesting to see the other major differences.

    • @djkwi
      @djkwi 9 місяців тому +1

      Assuming United’s new TA is ratified, they will have a similar profit sharing as Delta. American’s new contract is similar as well. However, due to Deltas cost structure (ATL lower per passenger fee and less unions on the property) they will always be more profitable than UAL or AAL.

    • @reeasx
      @reeasx 9 місяців тому

      That being said, looking at profit sharing alone over a span of 25 years. You could be better off by over 1 million dollars working for Delta rather than American or United. I know the actual salaries are very similar but the profit sharing over a career is a HUGE difference.
