Recently, I have been getting lots of questions about being pilots. These questions arise from the fact that people cannot predict the future. The economic situation combined with the possible recession, single pilot operation threat, and expensive flight training are only a few reasons why people hesitate to start flight training nowadays.

You stated a piloting career perfectly. I am 68 years old, retired major airline captain. I loved every day l was at “ work”. Flying was always a joy, no matter the up’s and down’s of the company.

Hi Caner Abi! I look at your education background and I see a good milestone in your career that is inspired me( you have a PhD degree 🤩). I am a fresh graduate engineer and want to become a pilot throughout a cadet pilot program, and also I want to take a PhD degree too. 1-) Bu sene üniversite sınavına hazırlanıyorum, pilotaj bölümlerinin puanları çok yüksek olduğundan (eskişehir teknik üni. uçak gövde-motor bakımı veya uçak elektrik elektroniği) bölümlerini yazmayı düşünüyorum. yanlış hatırlamıyorsam siz de bu bölümlerden birinde lisans eğitiminizi tamamlamıştınız, bu bölümlerle alakalı rica etsem düşüncelerinizi paylaşabilir misiniz?
2-) Ayrıca bu bölümlerden mezun olduktan sonra pilotajda yüksek lisans yapma imkanımız var mıdır, varsa bunun nasıl bir faydası olur, bu şekilde üniversitede uçuş eğitmenliği yapılabilir mi? yoksa pilotajın teorik (yer) derslerinde akademisyenlik şeklinde mi olur?
3-) Uçak gövde motor bakımı veya uçak elek. okumuş olmak mezuniyetten sonra thy uçuş akademisine başvurduğumda bir ayrıcalık veya diğer havacılık dışında bölümlerden mezun adaylara göre bir artı sağlar mı? ilanda herhangi bir bölüm sınırlaması yok ama merak ettim, bu konuyla alakalı tecrübeleriniz varsa paylaşabilir misiniz?

We keep working. Monitoring the flight path, communication duties, managing the autoflight system are only a few stuff we are doing during cruise phase of the flight.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. No you can’t join American with zero hours. In the US unlike rest of the world, there is a 1500 hours rule.
Can you talk about what you know about EB2 NIW for pilots?
I don't know anything about EB2 NIW. However, I'm talking with professionals to get a good knowledge about it. Once I feel comfortable, I can record a video about EB2 NIW

You are still working. Communication, automation management, monitor and cross checking are only a few descriptions of what we are during cruise :)

Hey, I was not a cadet for EFTA. I came to Emirates from Turkish airlines.
I am 35 years old so rationally is it possible to start flying school and start a career as a airline pilot with this age limit.........??? Appreciate your response in this regards.....thank you

Salary depends on how hard you want to work. It's not fixed here. Therefore, hard to say a number. I've recorded a video about it. I'll publish in a month.

That was for EK. They are not watch a lot. Also, It consumes too much time to create these videos. In the future, I may consider if there is a demand about it :)

Yes, It's absolutely possible! When I was a ground school instructor, I had a student who started his journey at the age of 42!
