I have a Pixel 6 Pro and after 3 years, it is still running really smooth. I am not sure I buy into the idea that the Pixel would not hold up as well as the iPhone in the future, but then I guess it depends on what you do with your phone. I do not play games on my phone, so for my simple use, the Pixel is fine.
People tend to forget the Tensor chip is a learning chip. I had my 4a for a couple of years before upgrading to a 6 and I upgraded close to when the 7 was coming out and it ran smoothly. The 4a was one of my favorite pixel phones
@@shark140i am using a Pixel 3a and it is now slow sometimes and i have to reboot it sometimes because it can’t update the emails. But overall i have been really happy with it and i am now debating between the Pixel 9 or the Iphone 16…
And I had the Pixel 6 Pro when it was released, probably the worst phone I had in recent times. People have different expectations for a phone especially when spending a $1000 for it. Most people would probably say their experience with Pixels were pretty crappy (Pixels have about a 25% loyalty rate after a year) and Pixel values hold up as well as milk left out in the sun.
It’s a tough choice because I want the best possible performance in both photos and videos on a smartphone. However, everywhere I turn, people keep telling me that the iPhone is the king of video, while the Pixel is the king of photography. It’s frustrating. Why isn’t there a device that excels at both, outperforming everyone else? It feels like each brand is perfecting only one area, leaving consumers like me having to compromise when what we really want is an all-in-one solution.
Got the s24 Ultra and the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I prefer the Pixel just for the hand comfort. My phones I want good cameras so these two phones for me just work. Love them both. Don't care about games, I leave that to my desktop.
Where they really missed the mark for me was that the base iPhone and Pixel had the better colors and format. Like the Pixel has the soft brushed metal feel on the edges, but the Pro has a shiny fingerprint magnet that feels terrible. It's also lacking the telephoto but I could live with that. The iPhone 16 has beautiful colors but it doesn't have a 120hz display or a better camera. I hate the Pro colors, they're so boring.
2 good phones and conclusion is interesting but i would say 3 Years : Pixel 9 Pro XL 5 Years: iPhone 16 Pro Max Major improvements for Pixel but the chip on iPhone is another level. It also depends how you really use your 1300€ smartphone: 1️⃣like a Pro or 2️⃣like someone who can afford to buy a Pro.
@@DisasterMaster3Keven the S24 FE smokes the Pixel except for the cameras. Of course their budget phones won't be better than Pixel, that's just common sense.
Half expected OnePlus to win the comparison 😂

Doesn't matter which chip is better on paper......both phones do their respective jobs effortlessly. The chip argument is getting old.
We got Ryan Thomas not glazing OnePlus in a video before GTA 6

I agree I bought the natural titanium and my wife got the aqua blue and I have become jealous of her color
If pixel had a better SOC I'd be dailying one hands down

Hey, what happened to OnePlus? Can't we begin to prepare for the 13?
I think OnePlus won this comparison
Nuh bruh
It definitely won if the camera and processor is not important to you..
The google pixel 9 pro xl is pretty fast. Just because the geekbench results are showing low numbers doesn’t mean its slow. It has 16gb of ram.
I dunno man, at a $1000, I WANT to play anything that's available, pixel is really bad value here. Rather go samsung
