I have all three and the kne thing I love about the series x is the backwards compatibility plus there is some really good games

The backwards compatibility is pretty good. I'd check the list of compatible titles to make sure that the games you want to play are playable though.
I’ve really enjoyed the Xbox series X so far, I’ve had it since launch and haven’t regretted it at all. Only downside for me is they haven’t released enough good exclusives. I own all 3 platforms as well and try to switch between all three. Best feature for me is what you said is the backwards compatibility. I have a massive OG xbox and 360 library and it’s nice to just pop in a disc and play some of their older titles. Some of the games are actually visually enhanced and have the fps boost. I think you’ll enjoy it! Try playing Gears 5 if you haven’t yet or halo infinite campaign

I'm a big fan of the original Xbox and the 360 was my favorite console of that gen but I moved away from the brand myself for a while. Bought an Xbox One in 2014 and enjoyed a fair bit of games until 2016, including several exclusives, but was never impressed with the hardware. I got a Series X because owning every Xbox before I figure, 'what the hell?,' but yeah, like you and others, one of the main draws (maybe the main draw) for me was backwards compatibility. It plays a good majority of my 360 library and all the old Team Ninja games like DoA Ultimate 1-2, 3 and 4, Ninja Gaiden Black and some games I consider underrated like Star Wars Republic Commando. Wish there were more good current gen exclusives but this year I did really enjoy Starfield and the new Forza. Hoping Hellblade 2 will deliver.
I really feel like they fell off towards the end of the 360 gen with their Kinect focus and throughout the Xbox One generation but lately they've been a lot more interesting

Still haven't bought a Xbox Series yet, kinda waiting to see if Microsoft is making any changes next year before purchasing.
For me I think they have enough upcoming that interested me for the price, but I know the lineup isn't for everyone

I enjoy Xbox cause I play the 360 with my Childhood friends even though I grew up on PlayStation but Halo and gears of war are definitely fun
The new kojima game will be a game for sure. But also something different. It was confirmed by him. Plus he puts out weird great stuff and teases us with stuff that dont make sense till the game releases. He did the same with death stranding. Im sure whatever it is. It will be great and creepy. I have the Xbox series x, ps5 disc and the switch. Plus retro consoles also. The series x does pretty good with making games in 4k. Ps5 exclusive games are great in 4k but there are other games like the previous tomb raider reboot trilogy. 2 our of the 3 support 4k on Xbox series x and the ps5 doesn't for those games. So Xbox does really great on that. Plus they support 4 generations of physical xbox games which is fantastic. But I like all 3. Awesome that you got one

I just bought it too. I have an Series S but I sold it and upgraded. That deal is way too good to pass.
Series S is nice for the price but I'm wondering if it will be able to keep up as the generation goes on. They already scrapped Balder's Gate 3 for it
I recently bought the xbox 360 forza horizon disc because it was delisted digitally in the microsoft store I ordered it from amazon it came in perfectly mint condition for a used renewed game. I officially played all of forza horizon my favorite series I love xbox game pass ultimate as well I barely buy games on my xbox series x I put it next to my PlayStation 5 i’m enjoying both worlds.🥂😎

i have 3 360 and a gear of war 360 lol. plus 3 Xbox one s and one new x. I like Xbox if you can't tell. i was going too build a pc but i got a good deal on the Xbox x. the new call of duty is not playing well on pc right now. due too crashes when they play anything but pc. I'm sure they will get it fix at some point.

EA and Ubisoft have their own subscription streaming service so I wouldn't be surprised if Square Enix will eventually have one in the future 😂
I'd hope they'd be smart enough not to waste time on that, but they've been making some bizarre choices lately so who knows
