SuperGlide is the only true solution for safe fifth wheel towing with short bed trucks. SuperGlide automatically moves the trailer away from the cab while making turns - allowing up to 90° turning without stopping, slowing down or even thinking about the space between the truck & trailer - and then automatically returns the hitch and trailer to the safe towing position over the truck axle when the turn is completed.
It allows a fifth wheel hitch to be installed properly and automatically adjusts the spacing between the trailer and the pickup cab during turns, without requiring the driver to do anything other than drive.

If you already have an industry standard type rail in your truck and want to upgrade to a SuperGlide fifth wheel hitch, ISR Series SuperGlide's tabbed base feet install directly onto your industry standard rails. If you don't have a rail system, choose either our ISR rails that really are built better and stronger than any on the market, or choose our ISR SuperRail system. This mounting system gives you a clean bed when you're not towing. Four easy steps to install/remove the mounting posts with no tools required!
OE PUCK SERIES SuperGlide Fifth Wheel Hitches....
Our brand new hitch line of OE Puck Series SuperGlides mount directly into your truck manufacturer's underbed puck mounting system (click here to learn more about this system). If you have purchased a truck equipped with the OE (original equipment) fifth wheel and gooseneck mounting points, we have an entire line of OE Puck hitches for Ford, Chevy and Dodge. Our Traditional Series SuperGlide hitches were the forerunners to the entire hitch line and remain a good solution for older truck applications as they sit lower in the bed, accommodating the lower bed rails of older model trucks (mounts directly to the bed or the superrails.) Utilizing adjustable mounting rails and totally removable posts that don't require any tools for installation or removal, Traditional Series hitches are easy to install and are totally removable for a clean bed!
#3100 SuperGlide Fifth Wheel Hitch for Super Short Bed Trucks....
The #3100 SuperGlide is specifically designed for trucks with less than 6' beds. Super short bed trucks present a very challenging problem because their cab-to-axle distance are much less than 8' bed trucks. The system works the same as other SuperGlides but has to be able to move the trailer further away from the truck at a faster speed. With it's 22-3/4" of slide/travel, #3100 SuperGlide quickly moves your trailer rearward away from the cab during turns and backing up. In a class all its own, the #3100 utilizes SuperRail mounting systems that are unique only to this hitch...all of which feature Clean Bed Technology.

So when you go forward does that slide back towards the rear how does it not slide towards the back when u go forward?

Does this work the same going forward? I have a 12' by 8' bed and am concerned about making turns going forward and hitting the camper with the corners of the bed.

Is it supposed to slide forward on stops and slide back on take off ? It feels really violent!
