I did notice that you did not have a pad lock on the release handle while towing . This is a great security feature and should always be used . We have had our pull rite super glide for 10 years and it has been awesome with our 35’ Toyhauler .

Great info & glad you still re assure me to still get one 15 years after I first discovered them, as we were always planning some day to get a Ram & 5th wheel & hit the road full time.
Am within a couple of years in doing so now ..
I was a Mechanic/ fabricator most my life,, & always thought these were supper slick & stout.
Weight is not a factor,, & can't beleve they are not on the current top 5 lists !
Must be just the price ??

We have the pull rite 2600 Really like it. Makes hooking up so easy.😊. Also it’s very lite.

Pull rite is the best out there. I have one on my fifth wheel and it works great.
Does the fifth wheel plate stick above your bed rails or would it work with a folding flush tonneau cover?
What are those bed rails? they look they you can unbolt them with 2 bolts each 1 on each side and like the nut could be welded in so no going underneath.
Quick question for anyone in the comments who have experience with this hitch. There's not a lot of info on this that I've seen. What's the clearance when turning and it's all the way back between the pinbox and side of the bed?
We just got one and a fifth wheel. Does it also slide when you are in reverse? Was hoping to take a small trip before our big trip, but a broken leg ruined those plans. Great informative video.
It does! The rotation of the hitch engages the sliding gears so it doesn’t matter if you’re going forward or backwards it will function the same. Hope this helps!
@@TexasYoungGuns awesome. Thank you for the response. We did a dry run yesterday, on hooking and unhooking. Seems much simpler and easier then hooking up a pull behind. Hopefully the pulling part is easier also.
@@aroundfloridaandbeyond376 you’ll have some bucking but overall it’s not bad. Just make sure and keep all the parts lubed up.
We have the Superglide for our 25’ fifth wheel. Do you find when backing up with the hitch sliding, that the trailer responds quicker and is more difficult to correct than a stationary 5th wheel hitch? Of course a “shorter 25 foot” trailer will respond quicker than a 30 or 40 footer. Maybe it’s just my driving skills or lack there of.
