Just a tip, when I go rock hounding I do like to bring a long a tooth brush, a water spray bottle and drinking water bottle and a zip lock bag. I can use the a bit of the water in a ziplock to clean some rocks off to see their colors and such as well as the spray bottle. It helps a lot oh and I have a cloth carry bag i use as well a rather large one that goes over the shoulder. Just thought it might help you as well on mudlarks and maybe a scraper as well would help. to flip over objects that are muddy.
Should of taken those flat shells and make christmas wind chimes out of them. U can dip edges of shells in silver, gold, green and red paint. Lots of ideas.
Dear friends, hello from Lesvos Island Greece! So much mud, maybe a water spray bottle will make the mudlarking easier...Wish you all the very best for the new year! Happy mudlarking days! ❤
Definitely sounded like a duck. The ricochet finds are sometimes the best. Best to check out everything, you never know where or to what it will carry you.
I did'nt see the cod marble in the roundup but those stoppers were interesting. Its a wonder you find anything in all that mud. Nice scenes and the snowy picture. Stay safe. Have emailed you to thank you. ☃☃🎄🎄⛄⛄🎄🎄⛄⛄🎄🎄
Even if you didnt find much i so enjoy the history that comes with of your finds. I also enjoyed seeing snow. Love the mudmas ❤❤❤ happy hoildays to you both
looked like a challenging place to spot finds but you did and it looked like a beautiful day as well looking forward to tomorrows treasures Karl from eastern Canada
Well you got out in the fresh air. Hard to find anything in all that mud. I enjoyed watching just the same. Great luck in the new year ahead. Take care 😊😊😊
Wow, that was a very muddy Mudmas ! Not much to find but a beautiful day to be out. Lovely snow scenes too. Happy Holidays to all the family and big Mudmas hugs 🥰🥰 xx
You need one of these sprayer bottle you can fill up will clean water from the river. And when you go to muddy areas one of you can spray the things on the ground clean. The other looks and picks up. Just an idea I bet you could find more. Oh I would love one of those flat oyster shells. 😮
Hello, I have only just caught up with this video and was astonished to hear you mention an ancestor of mine, William John Talbot Croft. He was a Wine and Spirit Merchant at 179 High Street,Gillingham until 1938 I had never seen the photo you showed so thank you for looking at those bottle stops.
Thank you ladies for sharing such wonderful videos and the interesting finds you found. Also the history behind them. Merry Christmas to you both and your family 🎄🎁 Peace on Earth to All in the coming year 🙏🏻
Merry Christmas from Tennessee USA It seems like you two always have a great time mudlarking even if you don't find much. Thank you for the videos you make for us to enjoy
Mudmas is fun. Don't like watching the step-by-step on seaweed as small crabs and other wildlife use it for hiding til the tide comes in. Shame that. Oh well, I still watched.
Don't particularly like this location. Too mucky. Hard to see what your finding. But glad you got out before Hard winter hits. HappyHolidays and Merry Christmas! And HappyNewYear 2024!
Hindu offering rules. Once ritual performed, and water takes them. Ritual is over as blessing is now complete. All hindu offerings found later be broken or parts of the offerings are found, such as these bowls, which by the way are not the normal bowls used in Hinduism. As they usually use copper as it is a pure metal, which is to carry gangi or 7 bowls w food, candle, flowers or water for protection od dharma, ect. Once the bowls are empty, the ritual is over, example washed up on shore, or sunk to bottom, they can be removed. In india, thete is so many offerings in rivers, the indian govt has to used cranes to scoop them out and dump them in dump trucks, or ships where they dump w india trash farther out to sea. So please, pick them up. They are considered trash. I do not understand why christian nations are so afraid of offending hindus, by removing used bowls or other modeled dieties discarded in your waters. Hindus themselves think your silly for your over sensitivity.
Thank you for the information on this. I would have not wanted to remove it or interfere in case I caused offence. I think this comes from a lack of knowledge about it combined with wanting to be respectful and not knowing the best way to go about it. How would it be viewed if the bowls were re-used for something else rather than discarded? Would the use bother the original owner?
The scallop shells are beautiful. Anyone would love to find some like those.
Those shell would make awesome wind chime

I would love to see you girls pick up random shovels full into a bucket and rinse it out at home like a suprise unboxing from scoops of mud😂❤
Oh, those scallop shells would make a beautiful bed-end for a seafairy dolls house!
Yes! Great idea. Or, to decorate around the beds at their allotment.😊
@@vickinoeske1154 I thought that too.
Wistable oysters
Paint a scallop shell and it would make a great headboard for doll bed. Thanks for braving the mud!
It makes it all the more exciting to find something when you are searching in the mud.
It’s amazing that you were able to find anything with all of the mud and leaves. Really like seeing the snow covered trees and branches… beautiful
Best part of this lark, the beautiful snow scenes of the countryside and hearing your chat. Keep warm.
Should of taken those flat shells and make christmas wind chimes out of them. U can dip edges of shells in silver, gold, green and red paint. Lots of ideas.
So muddy.. 😥, maybe a bottle dump day?
I love to watch anything/everything you want to show me 👍❤ Thank you
This one put the mud in Mudmas!😊
Beautiful nature shots and I always love a bit of history xx Teresa❤🇦🇺
If you sew a ribbon on a rag then tie on belt loop you would have a handy place to wipe your Hands and things

When the tide is coming in I want to say run. Don’t get caught by the tide. Every single time 🥴
I would be like a child here, playing in the mud. We only have dry hot sand LOL
Definitely sounded like a duck. The ricochet finds are sometimes the best. Best to check out everything, you never know where or to what it will carry you.

Merry Christmas from Tennessee USA It seems like you two always have a great time mudlarking even if you don't find much. Thank you for the videos you make for us to enjoy
Such beautiful scenery. Happy Christmas to you all there😊
That A vulcanite bottle stopper reminds me of the old logo fro Anhiser- Busch (not sure is spelling) … a beer company her in the USA.
Thank you for saying what that was you were wiping the A vulcanite bottle stopper on. I didn't want to look stupid and ask what it was.
❤❤❤❤❤😊
💙
I thought it was a duck too.
I dont know how you can see anything in all that mud.😊
Mudmas is fun. Don't like watching the step-by-step on seaweed as small crabs and other wildlife use it for hiding til the tide comes in. Shame that. Oh well, I still watched.
I was a bit anxious about that too. I always avoid stepping on the seaweed as much as possible when I'm around it 🦀❤
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖
❤🎄❤🙋♀️
Your videos are always the first ones I click on ❤️I want to Mudlarks so bad but in the states I don’t think we have as good places to go ❤
Same here-I would LOVE to be somewhere where I could mudlark-meanwhile I’ll enjoy it vicariously!
I love your searching, but I wonder if you might have a better beach to mudlark.
What were those little dishes you found at the beginning? You mentioned them being for offerings?
We would love to hear the idle banter between you ladies. No need to edit it out.
Do you grow scallops easily in your area?
Don't particularly like this location.
Too mucky.
Hard to see what your finding.
But glad you got out before Hard winter hits.
HappyHolidays and Merry Christmas!
And HappyNewYear 2024!
lol, pop a squat here in the USA means to squat to pee lol
Did you say, “Pop a squat here.”?
