As I said to the Northern Mudlarks 3 days ago, if I could subscribe a million times, I would do that for you, and for all the wonderful UA-camrs, who have helped me get through the loss of my beloved parents over the last two years. What you do is so important, and I thank you with all of my heart xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
I’m so sorry for your losses. I too have lost my parents over the last three years. Kate and Fluer do bring joy.❤️
Try not to feel the loss, people we love are there at our shoulder as we go forward thinking we are without them.
Thank you together out in the storm for the gift of this video. As always I’m looking forward to your next experience and the actual video make my day. This little red 🐞is so stunning…love that so much. Thanks for sharing and congratulations for your 30000 followers
Hello Kate and Fleur,
When you see a brass cartridge that has no projectile, and the cartridge is crimped at the end, its a blank.👍
May have only been a few finds, but they were pretty amazing.
That ladybird was stunning.
Awe your a trooper Fleur, for venturing out on such a windy cold day, when you weren't feeling 100 percent. Both of your dedication, is much appreciated. 😊x
Yes, I also adore this channel along with their brother, sister channels.
Northern Mudlarks,
Manchester Mudlarks, Si Finds, Nicola White, Mudpies etc. Just love the incredible passion put into their channels which makes each post so interesting.
I love the typeface. My grandparents met when they worked at our local paper where he was a printer and she was his type setter (pre WWII)
YIPPEEEEEEE!!!! There are my ladies!!!!!
There are only a few UA-cam creators that I can click the LIKE button before I watch the video. You guys are one of them. Great videos, ladies. You're one of my favorites. ❤😊
Makes my day when yall add a new video
My goodness. You both work so hard at finding the tiniest of treasures. I do love the history lessons too! Thank you!❤😊 ❤🇺🇸
It’s a ducks bottom! Lol
Hi ladies, that is a blank bullet..its a 22 caliber round. It contains gun powder, but no projectiles
hellos sure enjoyed this show,The Ladybird Bead😯oh my , stay warm 🙋♀️🌞👀💫
My two favorite ladies❤🎉
Much love and thanks from America ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Fleur and Kate, do you have jobs outside of youtube and crafting? Have always wondered. Love, love, love this channel and have been a longtime subbie! Also love your other channel!🥰🥰🥰
You two are my favourite people! The most beautiful souls who share such a wonderful view of nature!
There is also the seven-spot ladybird beetle. Coccinella septempuntata. They are found all over the world. There are other species of ladybirds that have various numbers of spots like the two spot-ladybird or the asian ladybird that has a lot of spots
"We think it is the back end of a chicken......" Oh ladies! That did make me giggle! lol xx
The IHS on the plaque is a religious monogram, it stands for Iesu Hominum Salvator, which is Jesus, Saviour of Mankind in Latin 😊
It can also stand for In Hoc Signo, or “in this sign”, used by Crusaders.
Thanks for these videos !
Looking forward to the Q&A next week. The question I would like to ask. When you took the witch bottle to the museum what was the outcome as I have never seen a follow up video and I watch every week.
And any news yet on the Roman icon?
I think that glass piece is from a thermometer but I don't think you mentioned that.
So happy for this video!! My happy place❤
Fleur & Kate 🦋🧶🪻another treasure hunt ☮️🇨🇦💝
I thoroughly enjoy watching your segments.
I lost my Mama a few years ago and truly miss her. Her best friend and i (together) watch the two of you❤
Good metal finds on that day girls. The little Ladybird is amazing. Stay safe all.
Thank you ladies!!
Lovely to see you! Thank you for taking us out on a windy mudlark.I would subscribe over and over if I could .you will definitely reach your goal. You are beloved! Nice find of the ladybird Fleur, and Kate,we know you love some typeface lol.
Enjoyed the video! Brr I don’t know how y’all can handle the cold! I hope you all make your goal and hit 30,000. My question is do you work outside of the home and if so what kind of work do you do? Also do you have a favorite find? Can’t wait for the next video!❤
I just thought of something-those pipe stems you find that have no bowls could be cut into smaller pieces to make beads! Would love to see you do that as a craft!
What's your best ever find? Could you do a haul video with all of your favourite ever finds??
And perhaps a tour of all our your finds?
Thank you so much for your videos my daughter (9) and I love watching these videos as I braid her hair before bed,
Thank you so much for another wonderful video.🇨🇦❤️
It is a 'Blank' round, probably for starter pistol, q1uite legal in the UK. If you ever need to dispose of them a Police Station is usually the best bet nowadays.
Very nice finds ladies and kudos to you both for going out in such cold windy weather, it’s so disheartening seeing how much lead is found especially the PO bag seals, it’s good that you ladies pick it up thank you for that, tfs x Julie
Just joined Patreon. You have sparked such joy in my life. I love your dollhouses and actually purchased an old clock case. Thank you.❤️
This was lovely. I can not wait to party with you both for hitting 30K.❤👍
I love your mudlarking adventures. Always so much treasure to find. The ladybird was the best ever. Looking forwards to your next adventure ❤
Love being part of the adventure, thank you again ladies! Your channels are my favorites! I do worry though when I see you brush your bare hand over the pieces of sharp metal and glass on the shore.
I’d love to see a question/answer episode. 😊 As far as questions, it would be interesting to know what everyone does for work. Ive heard you mention Kate being at work. Also, some of your most fascinating historical finds. I only found/subscribed to your channel about 6 months ago or so. 😊
Congratulations on finding the Niger Brothers ladybird charm Fleur. Such an amazing find. Kate, the pendant could be something to do with Christianity. I've seen the vestments or altar cloths embroidered with the letters IHS. It's a shame you weren't looking for agates; I thought I saw some in the background while you were showing and looking for your finds. Fleur, I do hope you're feeling better now. You and Kate are so enjoyable to watch & listen to. Your voices are so soothing, gentle and kind, sometimes I find myself being lulled to sleep (in a good way 😊) while listening and watching your videos, so that means I get to go back and watch them again to see what I missed. Win-win!
Greetings and good wishes to you both from eastern North Carolina. ❤❤
Great little finds. Thank you!
Ooo, that curly piece might be great for the mushroom house!
Congratulations on getting to 30K subs! 🎉🎊
The piece of glass in the middle of the roundup, that wasn't mentioned, looks like part of a glass thermometer. Given the age of finds at this beach, it could have been a mercury filled thermometer. I don't know if there might be any residue from the mercury, but I thought I should mention it.
if you do stained glass, would you be able to melt all the lead down and reuse it?
Thank you! I love walking with you and studying, searching the ground for treasure! My question is. "How did you find yourselves becoming "mudlarkers?"
Hi fleur and Kate, you both get me so exited you find beautiful little gems.oh how great are your videos.thank you for keeping me company
Well you're at 30K now so CONGRATULATIONS 👏🏻🎉
Congratulations on 30,000 subscribers!❤️🥳🎉
Congratulations, Ladies, for reaching 30K subscribers. Love your video adventures.
I enjoy your videos a lot.
Wow 30K congrats. I started watching those 4 1/2 years ago and knew what you were doing was going to be fantastic 👏👏
Love you guys!😊
Looks like you hit 30,000 congratulations!
i love your excitement & pleasure in finding little bits to take home, treasure, repurpose & give new life to what other's would see as garbage still. i do wonder how the ocean sorts out bits from landfills. i'm guessing a rocky beach captures heavier metal pieces & keeps them from returning to the water? you deserve thousands more subs. i keep introducing mud larking to family & friends hoping they will join the adventure. thanx!
Thanks Ladies👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌹
Looks like the 30k mark has been reached possibly. Congratulations 🎉🎉 love all your films. Thank you Lovelies ❤❤🥰🥰
Wonderful finds it’s great to find things as old, but intact these days! Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
At 22:50, the longer piece of metal is screaming out to be turned into a miniature lamp post! Some great finds and if the little green glass flask is drippy lipped, then that's very nice!
Wow!!! Ladybird!!🐞 and a great collection of typeface!
The 'primer' is a blank and used as a starting pistol or for training gundogs.
Starter pistols have them too. They have a small explosive charge but no projectile(bullet).
A blank. Noise but no shot.
@@ericalbany Exactly.
sending much love and appreciation from new mexico
Question: What is your favorite mudlarking lunch/meal? ❤ Love yas!
Hello lovely ladies😊
Thank you for braving the elements to bring us such lovely content!! 💗💗
Your voices are so soothing and you definitely have the Victorian aesthetic of always being so smartly turned out for your adventures even though where you go is usually mucky
I so admire your efforts in being smartly dressed 👗 ❤ I wish American women would follow your example in always being smartly turned out❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for your efforts on a bone chilling day. Keep well.
Thank you for your lovely video yet again. I always look forward to your adventures and finds. The seven dots on the ladybird are there in reality as well.
According to my screen you are at 30k! Congratulations! 😃💖x
It is clear that you both love Mudlarking (to be out in such bad weather).
congratulations on your 30.000 subscribers!
A lovely video, thank you!! And I love the sound of the sparrows going mad in the background! kindest regards to you both, k
I always appreciate the craftsmanship you put into editing the videos to make them so lovely.
How you must have laughed when you realized you'd filmed yourself hunting vainly for something the camera was showing quite clearly!
When you go to the seashore, do you ever gather seaweed for your allotment? Free fertilizer!
An afterthought…the decorated metal disc looks like a bicycle emblem, don’t know if that’s the right word, but let’s say a makers mark. It would’ve been painted.
I love the beaches you lark that have so much metal.
❤Luv ya bunches @Kate and @Fleur ❤
That primer is used to shoot nails into concrete and wood . I have two tools that use them. Love your channel and all the creations you two make.
The Cartrage was a 22caliber Blank. Harmless to handle
Cool bits and bobs always enjoy your videos
I think it's the back end of a goose rather than a chicken.
I love watching you guys find wonderful treasures! Keep them coming please. 😊😊😊
So fun! Thanks ladies!👍🏼💜
Love a Q&A!
30k 😊 woo hoo !🎉
Yay! Can’t wait until next week!
I had to look up "ladybird" because in Texas, the word ladybird makes me think of the nickname of a former presidents wife. She's got a lake over here named after her "Ladybird Johnson lake" and a wildflower center. But mostly we just call a ladybird a ladybug. Congrats on the wonderful finds! Cant wait to see your collections and favorite finds. Here's my question: if someone wants to start muslarking, how do they find places to go? Google is not very helpful with this! Ha!
there is definately gunpowder in it but no projectile
This channel is hypnotic!
I H S is a christogram for Jesus - often seen on gravestones, bibles etc.
I think there ARE uneven spots on some Ladybugs 🐞!
Those mail bag seals and bits of typeface would make for interesting jewelry 🤔 such as earrings or pendants or bracelets
My question is do you ladies have professions/jobs that you do most days? What are they?
Hello Fleur and Kate!! So excited to see another video from you wonderful ladies!! As I’m watching Kate pick up so much lead, I’m hoping next time you go to that beach you might take a magnet to help clear out more of that awful lead. You two are amazing!! Thank you so much for all you do!
💝💝
All that amazing seaweed! Good for Lottie! 😉
You two are great I love watching you mudlark and dollhouse
In the US those bullets are called rat shot for a. 22 caliber gun.
Still some nice finds guys, I would love to swap weather with you right now, it’s over 40 degrees right now and even hotter in the sun lol. Can’t wait for winter to come. Take care and thank you for sharing. Next week sounds like a great idea, fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞for reaching 30k by then 👏🙏❤️ ps i just checked and it reads 30k i think you did it 👏👏🎉🎉

Not a bullet but a blank.
Blast from the past, nib from a dip pen.... we used them at school to learn 'double writing' ... we got school tubby biro's later on
Happy belated birthday to Kate!
Lovely finds Ladies, I love type set pieces and the ladybug is beautiful. Thanks, I hope you feel better Fleur!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
