I am a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force with a total of 37 years as an aircraft mechanic (21 Active Duty, 16 as a Civil Service civilian employee). I was a dedicated crew chief on the F-15 for 16 of those years and worked on it off and on for the majority of my 37 years. My completely biased opinion is that the F-15 is the best airplane and fighter ever built. I was lucky enough early in my career to receive 2 back seat rides. Best roller coaster ride you ever will take. It was a privilege and honor to work on this magnificent aircraft. I absolutely loved working on it and seeing one fly still gives me goose bumps.
Back during my time as a KC-10 tanker pilot in the Air Force, I was able to arrange a backseat ride with this unit for a member of my crew who was retiring from the service. He had a blast flying with the "Coonass Militia" as they were called back then!
abs fantastic footage & flying, certainly miss watching F-15C's flying out of Raf Lakenheath sadly replaced by F-35's but luckily still 2 squadrons of F-15E's with the 48th FW
Somehow, you and I always seem to be close by to each other, you were about 40 feet further show right than I was lol. Well, see ya in November at NAS Pensacola :)
So much cooler and badass than the Angels. Dont get me wrong. They are awesome in a different way, but the F15 and A10 are just so amazing from my own personal experiences in combat
As a proud Vietnam ERA Air Force veteran, what I really want to is why the hell is music playing at EVERY freakin airshow when the aircraft are performing. I didn’t know there were music playing aircraft during dogfights!!! Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe there are any veterans who enjoy bands playing and drowning out that beautiful sound. Jets or piston! Especially when the airshow announcers say “Just listen to that jet noise” or “listen to the rumble of those big radial engines”. Ya can’t fkn hear anything but those massive speakers placed right in front of you!!!!!! WHY?????????
That's the Louisiana Air National Guard (LAANG) 159th Fighter Wing. They're stationed right there in New Orleans, set to receive the F-15EX in the future. So hopefully in 2026 (the next New Orleans air show) we'll see the new Eagles from the Bayou Militia.
Man i cant even remember the last time i seen the F-15 fly. the air show here in pittsburgh is HORRIBLE! Ever since they moved it from 911 air lift wing at pitt international years ago to the county air port about a hour from the city. Been to it once that was enough 😑
why would anyone think it a good idea to put those speakers on scaffolding right in the eyeline of the runway, just to have annoying music spoiling the real sound.......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first jet demonstration I ever saw was an F-15 C. Forever my favorite demo.
Some of those low approaches reminded me of the old eagle demo takeoff
Soon that will be me someday with the 159th Fighter Wing hope to be working on their aircraft and hope to eventually get lucky and fly them!

Thank you
Always difficult seeing beautiful aircraft taken away.
@@noreengarcia definetley i watched Phantoms leaving the Raf,F-111's leaving Lakenheath in 92 & F-15C's leaving ao sad
Love those low flying passes… So cool!😎The F-15 is a awesome looking Fighter🔥
Such a beautiful jet!
Very impressive performance especially the pull ups with full afterburners 😊
The F-16C is the only demo that’s in the same league as the classic F-15C demo as far as speed and climbs!
And takeoff!
The new F-15EX will blow your mind at what it can do and will be around for approximately another 50 years!
Agreed. Hope they are allowed that future.
@@noreengarcia . I'm a fighter pilot and you have nothing to worry about, it will be around for a long time and we couldn't be happier!
The F-15 is what I think of when I think of fighter plane.
I do, too. Whenever I see one, I think to myself, FAFO...
FOREVER MY BABY!!!;
THE MIGHTY F-15!!!.
I LOVE HER DEARLY!!!.
♠️THE VANITY ADDICT♠️
I dont care what anyone says!! The F15 is the best looking attack aircraft ever!

Haha
The "Eagle!"
The F-15C Eagle is the purest air to air fighter ever, sad to see them being retired, but the new EX will continue the bloodline.
Pilot of #36 is top notch!
I really like how thy pilots come in showing the audience a landing, but then raise the landing gear and suddenly jet upward.
Like right beside me
What is the country song the played during their demonstration? Been trying to find it.
I’m not sure

I think I might have seen you at the show
They flew the same demo when they were in Cleveland
That plane is FIFTY YEARS OLD
Are you planning on going to the Maxwell AFB Blue Angels show in about 2 weeks?
Yep
Even for a demonstration at an airshow, they don't take the tanks off.

Methinks the time has come for the Thunderbirds to upgrade to the F-15 platform!
Everybody is coping or F18,F16, F35, F22 and more. But we copied the MIG 25 to design the F15
Maybe the MiG 25 designers took a look or two at the RA-5 Vigilante?
F16 ก็ยังจูบไม่ลงเลยหาที่ไปไม่มีหนี้หนักไปกันใหญ่
Retired in 2025😢
Are they flying demos again or just flying because they're from there?
Nah, theres no traveling F-15 demo.

@@BullGator-kd6ge dang, I wish they would bring the F-15 demo back, it was the best.
@@YurrickLamhfhada that’ll be pretty awesome to see.

Ok how many times they gonna approch with the landing gear and break right tho 😂
