I was shocked with the performance he put on. Knowing there is no official demo team, I was expecting flybys. Most definitely the highlight of the show for sure.
I was shocked as well in the best possible way. The F-15 is my favorite, and I had given up on ever seeing a demo. I was just excited to see one fly by, but this made my day for sure.

@@RolleiPollei Same here. As soon as I saw an F-15 on the schedule nothing was going to keep me from this show! I am in NJ, but would have driven a few hours to see an F-15 fly in person.
Don’t worry, everyone involved with approving the F-15 participation got in trouble. None of this performance was planned, practiced, or approved. These guys went cowboy
Wow! I'm surprised they were allowed to be this aggressive! Wish I was there. They really should bring back the F-15 demo. I don't even care which model. Just get eagles back at airshows more regularly!
You reminded me of the Snort Snodgrass show. At first it looked a little tame but then I noticed how much precision there is in his flying. Although, that's not my favorite 14 demo. My favorite is one that starts with a takeoff rotation into an immelman with a 90° turn away from the crowd and a dirty double immelman later on. Oohhh you gave me some homework finding these videos. I almost forgot about the in cockpit video from Ft Lauderdale with audio!
Holy shit! The turn at 3:30, that is sooo F-16!! No wonder F-15 still rocks, very impressive considering its so much bigger and heavier than F-16. As for the demo, this has got to be more aggressive than the F-15E demos from few years back. Hope MA-ANG does more like LA-ANG now. Thanks for sharing!
Eye watering!!!!! Dammit i knew i should've went to the show..just seeing this alone wouldve been the highlight for me. He definitely threw that bird around the skies!
2:00 Heard a double boom when it flew right over us on this pass. I guess at a certain view point it did break the sound barrier? Didn't hear the double boom in this video.
GREAT CAMERA WORK. This old machine has some cards in her sleeves. 360 turn in 21 seconds. still better than the LIGHTNING. Very elegant performance. the pilot pressed the machine in some corners. awsome
I’m going as well can’t wait to see the F-22 when you see the F-15 in this video kinda fuzzy in the sky you can definitely tell that a lot of angles on the F-22 took inspiration from its big brother
Love the Mass F-15s! They fly over my house almost everyday. They had their home base airshow a few weeks ago and it was awesome but this is like a full on aggressive demo! Even more aggressive than then old F-15 demo team. Wonder how he was approved to do that.
Between 1974 and 2006 almost every official McDD and USAF F-15 demo was the same. Almost. Maybe the very early Farnborough and Le Bourge demos were more agressive and had more high AoA elements by the 70's factory test pilots. But out of this, the USAF Eagle demo was same in 1991, 2003 and 2007, when I saw it. Yes, the regular USAF single ship demos always have a strickt coreography where the safety first is the main rule. But because of this, if you saw one, more or less, you saw all of them. And now, here we go this ANG guy, who really shows the true capability of this old bird. It reminds me the famous and one and only F-15E demo from the Seoul Air Show 2001, managed by Joe Felock. Raw power and almost a continous 27-32 deg AoA trough the whole show.
Agree, other then the recent display with the F-15QA / EX in Dubai this display the pilot was pushing it a lot harder in the slow turns at high alpha and change of direction.
When the sad day comes when the last F15C has been replaced by the F35 ‘ctrl+alt+del’ jet this is the video we’ll come to to remember the good old days😢 I am still missing the F15C/D jet after it left the U.K. and the USAFE for the last time 14 months ago . This pilot put on a memorable demo, he must be the FCF guy and certainly an instructor pilot . Well flown ‘Sajak’ 🫡 I’m wondering if this tail is headed to AMARG soon hence the spirited display? Thank you so much for uploading the video👍🏻
definetly when the F-15C's from the 493rd left Lakenheath it was so sad def not a F-35 lover,i was at Lakenheath in 1992 when the F-15E's were in the process of replacing the F-111F's,thankfully there is a F-15A on display in 493rd colours in the memorial park at Lakenheath with a F-4D & F-111E from the 20 TFW in 48 TFW markings
My dad retired from the 104th FW (26yrs) when they had A-10s…He was Aerospace Chief…these guys fly over my place every time they fly…also the C-5Ms from Westover…great video!
@@mopar1524 I worked the F15C/D for 5 years at Tyndall and then they brough the first Raptors in. They launched 5 highly experienced Eagle pilots against one and it destroyed them all in minutes, they said they didn't even see it. Just retired from the Air Force and got to attend multiple Red Flags and other exercises and saw the debriefs. The Raptor smashed everything it went up against, when they fight against foreign planes they even restrict the maneuevers it performs so as to not give away any secrets. it absolutely can and will dogfight, in fact they use AT38's as aggressors against it mainly because it is the only fighter that can handle the turn radius
@slappymcgillicuddy7532 The Raptor is always started off with an advantage in exercises and it's been beaten many times in mock dogfights when it doesn't. it's far from unbeatable and many 4th Gen fighters can and have won in mock dogfights with the raptor. Thrust vectoring is good for airshow maneuvers and little more. The weight and complexity it adds simply isn't worth it when a jet that has a high thrust to weight ratio and a far better more aerodynamic design like pretty much every 4th Gen fighter can end up doing the same things. Stealth is the only thing it really has going for it. That can be negated these days. There's a reason they already stopped making it and are going to start phasing them out soon.

Well looks like an F-15 will be performing at the New York Air Show in Orange County next month so that answers my question.
Most likely this same demo! Some of the maneuvers seem to be from the old f-15 demo. Wonder if the pilot was one of the old demo pilots.
The power to weight ratio is incredible when it's unloaded and light fuel load it's awesome.
These guys did an awesome 2-ship demo at their home air show a couple weeks ago
