This jet very well could be one of the best jets out there right now. Its payload and speed are unmatched, incredibly maneuverable, insane radar, the only thing it lacks is stealth.
Yeah the technology gap between its peers were massive at the time. Which i mean good on the engineers who made them. But the 104 is not as massive as some people make it out to be. Still impressive for an aircraft tho.
It's cool to seen an F-15 doing maneuvers with 12x 120s. Hopefully in a few year we get to see F-15EXs zooming around with 22x 120s now that the are finally showing up in National Guard units.
As cool as that loadout is, it is all for show and nothing that would be lugged around operationally unless jets with Red Stars started flying overhead.
@@yxeaviationphotog The idea is that F-15EX act as missile platforms for F-22s (and F-35s); they can datalink with the F-22/35s and use their targeting data to launch against enemy aerial threats at long range. And yes, the idea is for many of the F-15EX to actually carry up to 12 x AIM-120D+ missiles into combat for that purpose.
@@wmiller1000 That's what the Boeing brochure says. Operationally, you're not carrying 12 AMRAAMs at one time. I can almost guarantee you will not see an active or guard unit sitting alert in the US with 12 missiles. Like I said, you won't see that kind of a load operationally unless the Russians decide to pay us a visit. Again.....what Boeing says and demonstrates, does not reflect actual doctrine and tactics, unless things really went south.

@@ХаттабычИсламов The F-15 Eagle air-to-air record is 57 ATA kills with ZERO ATA losses so far....tell us, what is the Flankers record so far? Russia has lost 47 SU-27/30/34/35 models so far in Ukraine, and that is just the ones we have solid photographic evidence for!
Totally useless demo. If you know anything about this version of the fighter, you know it's NOT meant as a maneuverable fighter by any standard - it's not a close in merge fighter. It would not do well in a merging dogfight. It's meant as a bomb truck: carry a lot of weapons, along with a super radar system to fight targets from long range. All this airshow flying and maneuvering wouldn't happen on its primary mission and if it meets anything above an SU 30, it'll likely be shot down. All to say airshows, while cool and all, never demonstrate the true ability or purpose of the plane itself.
@counterair173 It's a damn good weapons platform and a big improvements from its origins, no denying that. I remember an F15 poster on the walls of the Air Cadets building when I joined in the 70's. Coolest plane ever at that point. Amazing it still has a purpose 50 years on but that doesn't compared with the B52, of course. My point simply was that despite its mean look and seemingly incredible ability, there's even better fighters out there that would eat it alive, depending on what it's up against. I'd worry about it going against an Su-34. But it's not made for that. I think most people are wooed by the display, and of course these things bring support from the community. But insofar as showing what the airplane is actually capable of in a real scenario, against a determined enemy, displays can't do that, nor would it be practical. But praise to the old warhorse for having a purpose for many years to come.
@@MasterBakerVideos The point of the demo is to show the public what it can do, not what’s it’s going to do in a combat scenario. As you mentioned, the strengths of the Eagle are its radar and weapons load. The audience can’t see radar waves and external loads limit physical performance which is the reason the average airshow attendee shows up in the first place. It’s why every single USAF/USN demo team but the Growlers fly clean.
F-22 isn’t built anymore and has far less mission variety. F-15s have better range and are much easier on the upkeep end of things. Ironic the very plane the F-22 was supposed to replace…is taking its place instead. Lockheed better come up with something good soon, their F-35 has been nothing but trouble for the past 20 years. Still can’t fly in bad weather and the C model still has tail hook and fuel line issues. Waste of money through and through.
6:13 is video of the second F-15QA
Thanks.
The AOA, nose authority, and maneuverability are outstanding for a plane that lacks thrust vectoring. This is a terrific jet! 🇺🇸

Nicely done bud, you film amazingly, that wasnt easy to capture and it was still as could be and doomed in when it should have, aces!
That’s awesome! Hopefully this demo performs at more Airshows in the future!

This is not a 15EX
@@drewjames8594 Yeah but the EX is directly based on the QA.
Why dou you want to hide when you are flying this beast? XD
(Joke)
This is what the eagle was always meant to be!!
There's a reason the F-15 is 104-0 in combat.
Yes, because all the fighters it went up against were long ago, and from long range thanks to its superior radar. In a merge fight, it's a loser.

amazing airshow video
Not sure I have ever seen the air brake come up before touch down.
No markings on the jet...anyone know if factory demo crew (pilot/RIO) or military pilots?
CIA...
The paint scheme is that of the Qatari Air Force which flies the QA predecessor to the USAF EX version
You got alot better footage than I did 😅
When can I order mine😛 2A says I can have one😁
They need to put folding wings on it and make it Marine and Sailor proof.
That Jet with missiles is no joke. What I mean is the F-15 Eagle is a jet that enemies should not be messing with!

Surprised it's a smoker, not like the F-4's I worked in the day, but hope they'll have a fix. Good coverage.
Looks like it smokes only during acceleration... ie... when the pilot shoves the throttle forward to high power.
