First season I hated Steve. He was a douchebag and I didn't ship Steve and Nancy at all. I was rooting for her and Jonathan but then season two changed everything. We had this whole new facet at Steve's character. He'd changed for love, for Nancy. He left his friends, he left the popular crowd, he lost his "king" crown, all for Nancy. You could tell he really loved her. I felt so bad for him when he told Nancy that it was okay for her to go with Jonathan. That look in his eyes was heartbreaking. He so didn't deserve that. When I ship Nancy with Steve, I feel really bad for Jonathan and when I ship Nancy with Jonathan, I feel really bad for Steve. I JUST CAN'T FUCKING BEAR IT LIKE DAMN IT, I'M SO OVERWHELMED. THIS IS TOYING WITH MY EMOTIONS

I actually think that's why they work best. Her and Jonathan are too similar for a working relationship where as with Steve , he teaches her to laugh and teaches her to enjoy life.

this vid is truly beautiful and makes me so emotional!! i don't necessarily ship them, but i love my baby steve and feels really sad for him. also i'm not very happy with the way the triangle has been handled this season, though i think nancy and jonathan have a very strong connection, i feel they were rushed when i really loved their bonding in the 1st season. anyway, this vid is amazingly edited, and brings out all of this sadness for steve that i've had since season 1... oh well! now i'll just go and cry in a corner!
