However halfway through the production, the writers saw potential in the character and gave Steve retemption near the end of season one. That is why Steve became such a fan favourite and we had Billy in season two.
Steve has been trying to love another girl the same way he loved Nancy ever since they broke up but has failed continuously for 3 years. And clearly Nancy still has lingering feelings for him. I wouldn’t mind at all if they’re endgame.
The reason Steve has dated so many girls and can't seem to find the right one is because to him none of them compare to Nancy. As for Nancy he is her first love and she sees he's no longer the selfish guy he used to be. It makes me scared for writers are setting Steve up to sacrifice himself.
I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotionally intelligent, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind-hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women regulate emotion better. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Also, girls that are friends touch each other in ways that guys just don’t.
Nancy and Jonathan bonded over shared trauma and it was highly anticipated becos they seemed like the better duo. But in s3 I realized how Jonathan didn't even defend her when those goons at work were saying things to her and it made me realize maybe he's not the right one. Nancy is realizing that too I think and Steve has always been in love with her since the beginning so I'm guessing the writers just gave us jancy to create a bump in their relationship.. aw Stancy has to be endgame
But in season 3 my issue was that Johnathan totally dismissed her problems. Basically saying “well yeah but look at my problems-“ he was not supportive at all. I get it, he struggles to but they doesn’t make her struggles invalid. He compared his life to hers too much. Maybe shared trauma was all they had
on the other hand steve has always believed in nancy and would most likely do anything for her and if we wanna pull a jonathon and “compare whose life is worse” we can talk ab how if trauma bonding is all jancy had then sry now steve and nancy have that too LMAO
I don’t think the writers had any intention in bringing back Nancy & Steve because Steve was on suppose to exist for 1 episode and then that episode turned into 1 season with him suppose to have died at the end. But Joe was just to good in the role they wanted him to continue on the show. I think the show just started to feel burnt out on the Jonathan character and his relationship with Nancy. That’s why we are seeing the rekindling of Nancy & Steve because there’s more room for them as opposite to Nancy & Jonathan who’s relationship seems like I can’t go much further story wise.
I keep on remembering Dustin mention how Nancy used to be cool and fun and would hang out with the kids. Dress like a LOTR elf and play with them and makes me wonder if Steve saw this and this is what attracted him to Nancy. And then him hanging out with Dustin is making Nancy see him in a different light. Maybe she used to be to the kids what Steve is now.
Jonathan and Nancy had problems but could go through it, while Steve and Nancy had problems but couldn't go through it because they are not right for each other and they knew it. Jonathan didn't defend her because he needed that job, and she could have understood that. Stop trying to make a toxic relationship like Steve and Nancy's seem healthy
You can tell that Nancy is Steves big love, the love of his life. He told her she was always there in his dreams being basically his wife with their children. He would do anything for her and she slowly starts to feel the same way like it seems. PLS MAKE STANCY HAPPEN IN S5!
let’s be real. people saying that them getting back together will ruin their character developments is complete bull and don’t know how love works in real life. you never lose a connection or spark to someone you once loved, and with steve and nancy both being completely different people now, it makes sense that they can potentially fall in love again with the new, better versions of each other. right people, wrong time etc.
nah I agree with it & after reading all the replies here I just think that because steve is obviously one of the most loved characters of stranger things , that's why most of the people here are supporting him to get back with nancy. they didn't even speak to each other that much in the entire season other than "hi , ok , thanks etc" they were just acting casually with each other nearly all the time & there was no indication that they were coming close to each other so when did they fall in love with this new version of each other
they were even invest-gating separately & when he asked her to drive with him or make him the other student along with her at the prison, she reac-ted noth-ing like that so there weren't even many sc-enes of both of them together leave the ones where they showed that they've started lik-ing each other again

You don’t easily fall out of love, and those old flames come back almost instantaneously once you have more encounters together. It’s not hard to rekindle a spark that was once their, and anyone that’s loved someone like Steve loved Nancy knows.
@@rishi2738 All the hint were there but it's very subtle. Like when Robin mention Steve and her are just friends to Nancy and she gets rattle. Or when she saw Steve again at the crime scene after her co-worker disappeared. The look in her eyes of relief that she's not alone. The show hint another clue when they went back to Nancy's room in the upside down world and they discovered that it was of the past from 3 years ago when her & Steve were "studying" together back in season one. These are Nancy's point of views.
I absolutely love how they tied the stancy moments to the lyrics... "this love is good" for the old moments where their love was at a high, "this love is bad" for the moments where their love faltered, and "this love is alive back from the dead" for the moments where they're connecting again in season 4. it's a perfect representation of their relationship's growth
Jonathan was the good dude for S2, but in S3/4 he just didn't gaf. He didn't defend her at all at her job when those men were teasing her and wasn't really there emotionally.
I think the biggest thing is that Jonathan is not willing to go back to Hawkins for spring break but Steve was willing to stay in Hawkins for Nancy's senior year to be with her when he didn't know where his life was going.

I loved the little scenes between these two in the new season, all the little details.. like nancy removed the cobwebs from his hair or how she binds him when he was hurt. Even her look when she sees Steve after he got out of the car. I mean how she cared for him and wanted to save him no matter what! Also the fact Steve dated other girls to kinda forget nancy and move on, but... in his mind there was always only her. Steves speech to nancy about his feelings with this gentle voice and this soft eyes proves it. Beautiful video! I really hope to see more of them from you. i also love your stancy vid "belong". ^^
Tbh I’m really late. But the thing is I hate that people say “ Nancy doesn’t deserve Steve” and all that shit. They grew up, and they have both be come better people individually. Steve and Nancy have always been good, but when they had the falling out.. plus the grief from Barb… I feel bad for Nancy. She has to deal with loosing a best friend and get reminded of it daily. Steve became the babysitter and I love that. But Steve and Nancy in season 4… was shocking but they need to get back together. Jonathan and Nancy are having there fall out after being long distanced. Robin told Nancy “some old flamed that never should have been snuffed out.” And Eddie told Steve “That was unambiguous sign of true love, as these cynical eyes have ever seen.” Also the dream about the six lil nuggets! Went from Jancy to Stancy real quick. I’m sorry but it’s clear Johnathan and her are in different places. Both have changed and pulled apart. For Steve and Nancy they changed for the better. Steve realized the person he wanted to be and his priorities (especially with relationships he’s actually learning/trying to be a real boyfriend). Nancy stopped pretending to be someone she isn’t and establish her own identity as a woman. Both have matured for the better. They deserve another shot. I love this couple troupe… breaking up but becoming better people? And it’s clear since they broke up that Steve was never over her. He was always aware how much he screwed up in their relationship (she did too but y’all can’t lie that season 1- beginning of 2 was Steve). Now both are just… right for each other. Nancy sees him in a new light and Steve sees the real Nancy now and isn’t trying to change her anymore. That is a healthy relationship. Rooting for them!! Never switched gears so fast before on a ship
what are u saying when she was talking about Jonathan with fred at the newspaper's she clearly showed that she strongly loved him & exactly when did this they started seeing each other in new light happen in this season , they didn't even talk much the entire season or a conversation that showed they are coming closer , steve just dived in the lake & then suddenly nancy was shown to have started loving him again
@@rishi2738 not really. When she first saw Steve it’s clear she remembered the time they spent together. I think she also saw how much he’s changed. He’s not a douchebag… he’s good with he kids and unlike in season 1-2, is being himself/not someone he isn’t. And yeah maybe she realizes how much she still cares when she thinks he’s with Robin or when he’s nearly dead. I don’t think it’s odd though. Johnathan and her’s relationship wasn’t going the best and clearly she’s debating whether or not her and Johnathan are worth it (which is shown by her talk to Robin). Plus it’s very clear that both her and Johnathan are avoiding seeing each other, because they know it will end in a breakup. Johnathan even wants to go to the same school as her. It was a built up through season 4. And technically for Steve there’s nothing to built up, he always loved Nancy and regretted how things ended with them. Plus let’s not forget that Steve and Nancy never had any closure on their relationship. It was always a “what if…” and the one that got away.

They don't really have much chemistry. They bonded over trauma and love each other, but they never really seemed like they LIKED each other or had much in common besides the trauma.
i love them tbh, I wasn’t expecting them to “get back together” but tbh I’m not surprised. Ppl who hate on it need to realize that I think the writers/directors don’t wanna add MORE people to the show, like S4 had a ton of characters and adding a love interest for Steve DIDNT really suit the storyline. Like I imagine them giving us a love interest but what would the girl provide in the group? Also this would be a nice ending because Steve hasn’t had an love interest since nancy because he’s never really moved on. He had interest in robin but since she’s lesbian, he lost that feeling. People hate on Nancy with the “she can’t make up her mind” what she did to Steve was heartbreaking but people change… Jonathan was literally thinking about breaking up with her, *she doesn’t know* but she’s had this distant feeling w Jonathan for awhile now and Steve is always there.
But why everyone need to have love interest? Steve became the most popular and liked after he stopped dating Nancy. I don't think they should make him date anyone just because he should have a girlfriend. They could just imply in the final season that he found someone if they don't want to bring new people.

@@alealexutza00 Steve and Jonathan were NOT perfect in season 3. She got mad at him because he didn't have her back at work and she felt like he didn't really understand her. They had a while fight about it, remember? And in Season 4 they are literally talking about their relationship problems even before Steve came back into the picture. And how can you say Nancy is pointless if she gets with Steve? She literally helped solve so many mysteries on the show, she deserves more respect than that.
Hear me out: So Steve always saves everyone Season 1: he saved Jonathan and Nancy from the demogorgan Season 2: he saved/sacrificed himself to distract the demo dogs from eating the kids at the junk yard and fought them off Season 3: he and robin let Dustin and Erica go by holding the door for the Russians, allowing them to get captured (also with the car and hitting billy to save the kids AGAIN) Season 4: Steve went to go check out the gate at lovers lake, then gets sucked down by vecna, him getting bit by the bats and the others coming to save HIM if the writers decide to kill him off that’ll be a waste of a redemption arc Bc time and time again he has saved EVERYONE but himself. I think Jonathan (or someone else) will sacrifice themself to save Steve. So I don’t think he’ll die. And finally get to be with Nancy. I hope I’m right.
I hope to God you're right. Really really really hope so. But the general feeling that I'm getting is that they will kill off Steve. It literally feels like they're building up all this emotion just so when he dies the dramatic factor is big. I don't know I genuinely hope it doesn't happen but I can literally see them giving Steve a heroic martyrdom and confessing his love to Nancy either seconds before or right when he dies. Even though I didn't really like Steve in season 1, it was quite obvious from the beginning that he was head over heals in love with Nancy... It was at that moment when they were having the fight at the party when I started to relate to Steve's character and started to root for him... And now the chemistry between Steve and Nancy in season 4?! I just really think that Steve had to grow to be the person that he is now, so that he could be Nancy's equal and I can't wait to see what their relationship evolves to in vol 2 ❤️

I swear Nancy and Steve are so perfect and are soulmates I truly believe that even Robin and Eddie saw it. And I see a lot of people saying they would feel bad for Jonathan but I don’t understand why because Jonathan told argyle the plan was to slowly break up with her. I really hope they get back together they truly are the most perfect ship out there. I hope the duffers can also see that.
I don't like that Jonathan lies and not telling the truth about his plans and he was not on her side when she had "job problems" - I personally think steve is more protective and more honest with her.
It makes sense for relationships to burn out and end over time. Johnathan and Nancy had a good run but argued and don’t seem to prioritize the relationship or each other (which is fine! Just means the relationship has ran it’s course) I hope they can end on good terms and Nancy can heal, ONLY THEN she could ask Steve out again
Watching Stranger Things 4 I wasn't expecting this to happen, but now I am obsessed with the idea that they might get back together:) and I dont understand why people hate the possibility so much, in real life you evolve and grow up and reconnect with people you thought you had left behind for good.
Omg this is literally one of the best edits of all time. I always felt like Nancy belonged with johnathan just because they were more similar and they had shared trauma. It’s now opening my eyes how perfect Nancy and Steve are for each other. They have so much chemistry and they spent so much time together. Steve loved her first but Nancy loved him too late. I hope they get back together. Her and Jonathan don’t rlly have that much in common anymore.
You know what? I wouldn’t be mad if they were endgame and I used to love Nancy and Jonathan together but people can grow apart and life gets in the way. It’s obvious they have different goals so it would be realistic if they they don’t end up together.
At this point, if the duffer brothers don’t plan on them getting back together I will be quite mad. I mean there has been so many scenes where they were together and had moments. Steve confessed his love for her, told her all about his dreams, and more. Then, robin and Eddie both had scenes where they were telling Nancy and Steve that they should try to rekindle some old flames. So, if they don’t get back together, I feel like all of those scenes were pointless.
I never wanted them together until season 4, and then it was so obvious that it was right. They've both grown up, and along the way just feel like they've found their way back to each other.
I kind of want them back together. Part of Steve’s character development has been about him becoming the guy that Nancy always wanted and believed him to be. It’s come full circle and I think her and Jonathan’s relationship has run it’s course (but I do love them together too lol)
It's kinda like the right person, wrong time in season 1 and season 2. They both had character development and they both had their own arcs and stories that they needed to overcome. In the first 2 seasons, we see the chemistry and how much steve and nancy both truly love eachother, except nancy resents steve in a way, and steve still hasnt really matured out of the "i gotta be cool" mindset- not even in season 3. Season 4 jonathan and nancy very heavily parrallel nancy and steve with all the disagreeing, steve not trusting nancy when she said that jonathan comforting her wasnt romantic, (which I think it was a cute moment i ship jancy and stancy but it wasnt really strictly romantic as a lot of ppl after something trumatic happened will need comforot and likely would have anxiety if alone.) jonathan not believing nancy that there was something more up than a rat, etc. Now that theyve all had character development, jonathan and nancy are going to different colleges, jonathan wants to break up with her, (i dont think because he lost feelings i think he belives it would be easier if he never gained them.) and nancy and steve are both still in hawkins and are now around eachother, going through something that, in any other season would be being faught by jonathan and nancy instead. Now its very much right b]person, right time because they are ready for eachother, but theyve always had that spark.
In my experience, it's rare to find a video with an overused song that doesn't look/sound like all the others, but yours is BEAUTIFUL. You didn't just put scenes over the song; you matched them to the lyrics (my fave way to edit/tell a story). I especially like how you paralleled scenes from earlier seasons with bits from S4. I've added it to my "faves" (and that's a small list). I didn't realize how much I hoped Steve and Nancy might get another chance until this season. You can tell throughout the season she was starting to fell for Steve again, and I think she just didn't have the courage to tell John off, yet. She clearly didn't seem all that excited when she told John they were still good. By season 5 they're clearly done. Season 4 was just setting up for it

I'm honestly a little upset because I'm mainly on twitter and everyone seems to act as if Steve is the worst choice for Nancy while I think them ending up together would be great cause Steve changed. He clearly loves her and I think if she gave him a chance they could be happy together.
I've been shipping Jancy since I've first watched the series. I'd look up edits of them and replay their scenes and all but Steve and Nancy are just something. For some reason, after Jonathan and Nancy got together, I thought I'd be satisfied- well, I was when they first got together but after seeing them as a couple, I feel like something is missing like I was looking for something? After watching s4, I swerved HARD. I really think they can get back together. Jonathan has been thinking of breaking up with her while she's also feeling emotionally distant towards him (idek if I worded that right). With Steve going on million dates and still not able to find a love interest, I really think there's a chance for them.
SAMEEEEEEEE 💔 Jancy in S3 lost me, they weren't an awful couple but there were no chemistry between them (plus Jonathan didn't support or trust on Nancy when she was writing her article for the newspaper) Gosh I have moved from Jancy to Stancy so quick.
I just rewatch season 1 to 3. Already in season 2 we see that Steve evolves and that Nancy still has feelings for him. I remember two strong moments (in my opinion): In Season 2 when the Mind Flyer possesses Will, Joyce and Jonathan want to bring him away from the others. Nancy refuses to go with them and says that she has to protect Mike. Steve tells her that he will watch over him and she decides to leave with Joyce and Jonathan. I think it's a great proof of trust. She trust him with his brother's life. At the end of Season 3, Nancy shoots Billy's car as he drives straight into their car and Steve crashes his car into Billy's and saves Nancy. I sincerely hope that they will survive in part 2. I believe the producers want us to be scared, but I feel more like it's Eddie who's going to sacrifice himself. He said that he never did anything brave in his life so I think he's going to do one last act of bravery.
My heart was hurting for Steve. He grew a lot during the whole show, and the way he never stopped loving Nancy was just heartbreaking. I like Nancy a lot, but he deserves so much better, he deserves to find someone who will love him as he deserves :(

Didn’t like them season one, hated that Nancy ditched Barb to be with Steve. I honestly didn’t think he loved her and just wanted to get laid but now in the past couple seasons I’ve realized he really did love her. Steve had grown on me and Jonathan may not be the one for her after all. So I’m open to seeing these two develop in season 4. That said, lovely video! It’s perfection! ❤️👏🏻

However halfway through the production, the writers saw potential in the character and gave Steve retemption near the end of season one. That is why Steve became such a fan favourite and we had Billy in season two.

Steve has been trying to love another girl the same way he loved Nancy ever since they broke up but has failed continuously for 3 years. And clearly Nancy still has lingering feelings for him. I wouldn’t mind at all if they’re endgame.
I loved that scene where Nancy breathes a sigh of relief seeing Steve. I think that says so much about how she too feels for him.

The reason Steve has dated so many girls and can't seem to find the right one is because to him none of them compare to Nancy. As for Nancy he is her first love and she sees he's no longer the selfish guy he used to be. It makes me scared for writers are setting Steve up to sacrifice himself.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.
Women tend to be more emotionally intelligent, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind-hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women regulate emotion better.
Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Also, girls that are friends touch each other in ways that guys just don’t.
Nancy and Jonathan bonded over shared trauma and it was highly anticipated becos they seemed like the better duo. But in s3 I realized how Jonathan didn't even defend her when those goons at work were saying things to her and it made me realize maybe he's not the right one. Nancy is realizing that too I think and Steve has always been in love with her since the beginning so I'm guessing the writers just gave us jancy to create a bump in their relationship.. aw Stancy has to be endgame
But in season 3 my issue was that Johnathan totally dismissed her problems. Basically saying “well yeah but look at my problems-“ he was not supportive at all. I get it, he struggles to but they doesn’t make her struggles invalid. He compared his life to hers too much. Maybe shared trauma was all they had

I don’t think the writers had any intention in bringing back Nancy & Steve because Steve was on suppose to exist for 1 episode and then that episode turned into 1 season with him suppose to have died at the end. But Joe was just to good in the role they wanted him to continue on the show. I think the show just started to feel burnt out on the Jonathan character and his relationship with Nancy. That’s why we are seeing the rekindling of Nancy & Steve because there’s more room for them as opposite to Nancy & Jonathan who’s relationship seems like I can’t go much further story wise.
I keep on remembering Dustin mention how Nancy used to be cool and fun and would hang out with the kids. Dress like a LOTR elf and play with them and makes me wonder if Steve saw this and this is what attracted him to Nancy. And then him hanging out with Dustin is making Nancy see him in a different light. Maybe she used to be to the kids what Steve is now.
Jonathan and Nancy had problems but could go through it, while Steve and Nancy had problems but couldn't go through it because they are not right for each other and they knew it. Jonathan didn't defend her because he needed that job, and she could have understood that. Stop trying to make a toxic relationship like Steve and Nancy's seem healthy
You can tell that Nancy is Steves big love, the love of his life. He told her she was always there in his dreams being basically his wife with their children. He would do anything for her and she slowly starts to feel the same way like it seems. PLS MAKE STANCY HAPPEN IN S5!

let’s be real. people saying that them getting back together will ruin their character developments is complete bull and don’t know how love works in real life. you never lose a connection or spark to someone you once loved, and with steve and nancy both being completely different people now, it makes sense that they can potentially fall in love again with the new, better versions of each other. right people, wrong time etc.
nah I agree with it & after reading all the replies here I just think that because steve is obviously one of the most loved characters of stranger things , that's why most of the people here are supporting him to get back with nancy. they didn't even speak to each other that much in the entire season other than "hi , ok , thanks etc" they were just acting casually with each other nearly all the time & there was no indication that they were coming close to each other so when did they fall in love with this new version of each other
they were even invest-gating separately & when he asked her to drive with him or make him the other student along with her at the prison, she reac-ted noth-ing like that so there weren't even many sc-enes of both of them together leave the ones where they showed that they've started lik-ing each other again

You don’t easily fall out of love, and those old flames come back almost instantaneously once you have more encounters together. It’s not hard to rekindle a spark that was once their, and anyone that’s loved someone like Steve loved Nancy knows.

Or when she saw Steve again at the crime scene after her co-worker disappeared. The look in her eyes of relief that she's not alone. The show hint another clue when they went back to Nancy's room in the upside down world and they discovered that it was of the past from 3 years ago when her & Steve were "studying" together back in season one. These are Nancy's point of views.

I absolutely love how they tied the stancy moments to the lyrics... "this love is good" for the old moments where their love was at a high, "this love is bad" for the moments where their love faltered, and "this love is alive back from the dead" for the moments where they're connecting again in season 4. it's a perfect representation of their relationship's growth

Wow. This is the first steve and nancy edit that actually, TRULY made me bawl my eyes out. I'm not exaggerating. This is a masterpiece.
Jonathan was the good dude for S2, but in S3/4 he just didn't gaf. He didn't defend her at all at her job when those men were teasing her and wasn't really there emotionally.
I think the biggest thing is that Jonathan is not willing to go back to Hawkins for spring break but Steve was willing to stay in Hawkins for Nancy's senior year to be with her when he didn't know where his life was going.

every time Stancy look at each other, omg that full of love. Im glad that they didn't cross the line like hug or kiss in ss4 cuz Nancy has to clarify her feeling first, she couldn't make the same mistake as ss2 when hangout with Jo behind Steve's back. I loved the little scenes between these two in the new season, all the little details.. like nancy removed the cobwebs from his hair or how she binds him when he was hurt. Even her look when she sees Steve after he got out of the car. I mean how she cared for him and wanted to save him no matter what! Also the fact Steve dated other girls to kinda forget nancy and move on, but... in his mind there was always only her. Steves speech to nancy about his feelings with this gentle voice and this soft eyes proves it. Beautiful video! I really hope to see more of them from you. i also love your stancy vid "belong". ^^
Tbh I’m really late. But the thing is I hate that people say “ Nancy doesn’t deserve Steve” and all that shit. They grew up, and they have both be come better people individually. Steve and Nancy have always been good, but when they had the falling out.. plus the grief from Barb… I feel bad for Nancy. She has to deal with loosing a best friend and get reminded of it daily. Steve became the babysitter and I love that. But Steve and Nancy in season 4… was shocking but they need to get back together. Jonathan and Nancy are having there fall out after being long distanced. Robin told Nancy “some old flamed that never should have been snuffed out.” And Eddie told Steve “That was unambiguous sign of true love, as these cynical eyes have ever seen.” Also the dream about the six lil nuggets! That was adorable, and that Steve mentioned Nancy was always there. They are endgame and nobody can change my mind.

Went from Jancy to Stancy real quick. I’m sorry but it’s clear Johnathan and her are in different places. Both have changed and pulled apart.
For Steve and Nancy they changed for the better. Steve realized the person he wanted to be and his priorities (especially with relationships he’s actually learning/trying to be a real boyfriend). Nancy stopped pretending to be someone she isn’t and establish her own identity as a woman. Both have matured for the better. They deserve another shot. I love this couple troupe… breaking up but becoming better people? And it’s clear since they broke up that Steve was never over her. He was always aware how much he screwed up in their relationship (she did too but y’all can’t lie that season 1- beginning of 2 was Steve). Now both are just… right for each other. Nancy sees him in a new light and Steve sees the real Nancy now and isn’t trying to change her anymore. That is a healthy relationship. Rooting for them!! Never switched gears so fast before on a ship

what are u saying when she was talking about Jonathan with fred at the newspaper's she clearly showed that she strongly loved him & exactly when did this they started seeing each other in new light happen in this season , they didn't even talk much the entire season or a conversation that showed they are coming closer , steve just dived in the lake & then suddenly nancy was shown to have started loving him again
@@rishi2738 not really. When she first saw Steve it’s clear she remembered the time they spent together. I think she also saw how much he’s changed. He’s not a douchebag… he’s good with he kids and unlike in season 1-2, is being himself/not someone he isn’t. And yeah maybe she realizes how much she still cares when she thinks he’s with Robin or when he’s nearly dead. I don’t think it’s odd though. Johnathan and her’s relationship wasn’t going the best and clearly she’s debating whether or not her and Johnathan are worth it (which is shown by her talk to Robin). Plus it’s very clear that both her and Johnathan are avoiding seeing each other, because they know it will end in a breakup. Johnathan even wants to go to the same school as her. It was a built up through season 4. And technically for Steve there’s nothing to built up, he always loved Nancy and regretted how things ended with them. Plus let’s not forget that Steve and Nancy never had any closure on their relationship. It was always a “what if…” and the one that got away.

They don't really have much chemistry. They bonded over trauma and love each other, but they never really seemed like they LIKED each other or had much in common besides the trauma.

i love them tbh, I wasn’t expecting them to “get back together” but tbh I’m not surprised. Ppl who hate on it need to realize that I think the writers/directors don’t wanna add MORE people to the show, like S4 had a ton of characters and adding a love interest for Steve DIDNT really suit the storyline. Like I imagine them giving us a love interest but what would the girl provide in the group? Also this would be a nice ending because Steve hasn’t had an love interest since nancy because he’s never really moved on. He had interest in robin but since she’s lesbian, he lost that feeling. But ever since that they have had this storyline of Steve trying to find a girl. People hate on Nancy with the “she can’t make up her mind” what she did to Steve was heartbreaking but people change… Jonathan was literally thinking about breaking up with her, *she doesn’t know* but she’s had this distant feeling w Jonathan for awhile now and Steve is always there.
But why everyone need to have love interest? Steve became the most popular and liked after he stopped dating Nancy. I don't think they should make him date anyone just because he should have a girlfriend. They could just imply in the final season that he found someone if they don't want to bring new people.

Hear me out: So Steve always saves everyone
Season 1: he saved Jonathan and Nancy from the demogorgan
Season 2: he saved/sacrificed himself to distract the demo dogs from eating the kids at the junk yard and fought them off
Season 3: he and robin let Dustin and Erica go by holding the door for the Russians, allowing them to get captured (also with the car and hitting billy to save the kids AGAIN)
Season 4: Steve went to go check out the gate at lovers lake, then gets sucked down by vecna, him getting bit by the bats and the others coming to save HIM
if the writers decide to kill him off that’ll be a waste of a redemption arc Bc time and time again he has saved EVERYONE but himself. I think Jonathan (or someone else) will sacrifice themself to save Steve. So I don’t think he’ll die. And finally get to be with Nancy. I hope I’m right.

It literally feels like they're building up all this emotion just so when he dies the dramatic factor is big. I don't know I genuinely hope it doesn't happen but I can literally see them giving Steve a heroic martyrdom and confessing his love to Nancy either seconds before or right when he dies. GOD I HOPE I'M WRONG.

Even though I didn't really like Steve in season 1, it was quite obvious from the beginning that he was head over heals in love with Nancy... It was at that moment when they were having the fight at the party when I started to relate to Steve's character and started to root for him... And now the chemistry between Steve and Nancy in season 4?! I just really think that Steve had to grow to be the person that he is now, so that he could be Nancy's equal and I can't wait to see what their relationship evolves to in vol 2 ❤️

And I see a lot of people saying they would feel bad for Jonathan but I don’t understand why because Jonathan told argyle the plan was to slowly break up with her. I really hope they get back together they truly are the most perfect ship out there. I hope the duffers can also see that.

It makes sense for relationships to burn out and end over time. Johnathan and Nancy had a good run but argued and don’t seem to prioritize the relationship or each other (which is fine! Just means the relationship has ran it’s course) I hope they can end on good terms and Nancy can heal, ONLY THEN she could ask Steve out again

Watching Stranger Things 4 I wasn't expecting this to happen, but now I am obsessed with the idea that they might get back together:) and I dont understand why people hate the possibility so much, in real life you evolve and grow up and reconnect with people you thought you had left behind for good.
Omg this is literally one of the best edits of all time. I always felt like Nancy belonged with johnathan just because they were more similar and they had shared trauma. It’s now opening my eyes how perfect Nancy and Steve are for each other. They have so much chemistry and they spent so much time together. Steve loved her first but Nancy loved him too late. I hope they get back together. Her and Jonathan don’t rlly have that much in common anymore.

You know what? I wouldn’t be mad if they were endgame and I used to love Nancy and Jonathan together but people can grow apart and life gets in the way. It’s obvious they have different goals so it would be realistic if they they don’t end up together.
At this point, if the duffer brothers don’t plan on them getting back together I will be quite mad. I mean there has been so many scenes where they were together and had moments. Steve confessed his love for her, told her all about his dreams, and more. Then, robin and Eddie both had scenes where they were telling Nancy and Steve that they should try to rekindle some old flames. So, if they don’t get back together, I feel like all of those scenes were pointless.

I never wanted them together until season 4, and then it was so obvious that it was right. They've both grown up, and along the way just feel like they've found their way back to each other.
I kind of want them back together. Part of Steve’s character development has been about him becoming the guy that Nancy always wanted and believed him to be. It’s come full circle and I think her and Jonathan’s relationship has run it’s course (but I do love them together too lol)
It's kinda like the right person, wrong time in season 1 and season 2. They both had character development and they both had their own arcs and stories that they needed to overcome. In the first 2 seasons, we see the chemistry and how much steve and nancy both truly love eachother, except nancy resents steve in a way, and steve still hasnt really matured out of the "i gotta be cool" mindset- not even in season 3. Season 4 jonathan and nancy very heavily parrallel nancy and steve with all the disagreeing, steve not trusting nancy when she said that jonathan comforting her wasnt romantic, (which I think it was a cute moment i ship jancy and stancy but it wasnt really strictly romantic as a lot of ppl after something trumatic happened will need comforot and likely would have anxiety if alone.) jonathan not believing nancy that there was something more up than a rat, etc. Now that theyve all had character development, jonathan and nancy are going to different colleges, jonathan wants to break up with her, (i dont think because he lost feelings i think he belives it would be easier if he never gained them.) and nancy and steve are both still in hawkins and are now around eachother, going through something that, in any other season would be being faught by jonathan and nancy instead. Now its very much right b]person, right time because they are ready for eachother, but theyve always had that spark.

In my experience, it's rare to find a video with an overused song that doesn't look/sound like all the others, but yours is BEAUTIFUL. You didn't just put scenes over the song; you matched them to the lyrics (my fave way to edit/tell a story). I especially like how you paralleled scenes from earlier seasons with bits from S4. I've added it to my "faves" (and that's a small list). I didn't realize how much I hoped Steve and Nancy might get another chance until this season. Now, I'm a Stancy shipper for life. *fingers crossed for S5* They had some great moments in the final two episodes of S4. I hope you're working on a new video that includes them. I can wait. You can tell throughout the season she was starting to fell for Steve again, and I think she just didn't have the courage to tell John off, yet. She clearly didn't seem all that excited when she told John they were still good. By season 5 they're clearly done. Season 4 was just setting up for it

I've been shipping Jancy since I've first watched the series. I'd look up edits of them and replay their scenes and all but Steve and Nancy are just something. For some reason, after Jonathan and Nancy got together, I thought I'd be satisfied- well, I was when they first got together but after seeing them as a couple, I feel like something is missing like I was looking for something? After watching s4, I swerved HARD. I really think they can get back together. Jonathan has been thinking of breaking up with her while she's also feeling emotionally distant towards him (idek if I worded that right). With Steve going on million dates and still not able to find a love interest, I really think there's a chance for them.
SAMEEEEEEEE 💔 Jancy in S3 lost me, they weren't an awful couple but there were no chemistry between them (plus Jonathan didn't support or trust on Nancy when she was writing her article for the newspaper) Gosh I have moved from Jancy to Stancy so quick.

I just rewatch season 1 to 3. Already in season 2 we see that Steve evolves and that Nancy still has feelings for him. I remember two strong moments (in my opinion):
In Season 2 when the Mind Flyer possesses Will, Joyce and Jonathan want to bring him away from the others. Nancy refuses to go with them and says that she has to protect Mike. Steve tells her that he will watch over him and she decides to leave with Joyce and Jonathan. I think it's a great proof of trust. She trust him with his brother's life.
At the end of Season 3, Nancy shoots Billy's car as he drives straight into their car and Steve crashes his car into Billy's and saves Nancy.
I sincerely hope that they will survive in part 2. I believe the producers want us to be scared, but I feel more like it's Eddie who's going to sacrifice himself. He said that he never did anything brave in his life so I think he's going to do one last act of bravery.

Didn’t like them season one, hated that Nancy ditched Barb to be with Steve. I honestly didn’t think he loved her and just wanted to get laid but now in the past couple seasons I’ve realized he really did love her. Steve had grown on me and Jonathan may not be the one for her after all. So I’m open to seeing these two develop in season 4. That said, lovely video! It’s perfection! ❤️👏🏻
