I was a fresh baby nurse during Covid and volunteered for the ICU. It was when this awake and alert patient of mine started drawing crosses on his table and pointing to the rooms around his ( he couldn’t speak, since he was trached and still on a ventilator) when I realised that every single one of our patients will leave us either traumatised or in a body bag… It was unbelievably hard work physically and emotionally, but man, I learned a ton. About myself, about others, about life, death, my profession… I grew a lot during this time.

What an important documentary for us all. This documentary is simply amazing!! The one person whoever disliked it is simply not human. If you dislike this documentary, you are simply not human. This should get 5 million views. This movie should win an Academy Award. How could anyone not love this video? Our thoughts, and prayers go out to those who have died for 20 months. @@Sheila612Miller Yep. One thing that when Covid was the pandemic, you absolutely positively cannot bring back while you can bring back stores, restaurants, and life as we knew it, which it is back the one thing you absolutely cannot bring back are the lives that were lost. When Covid was the pandemic those human beings you cannot bring them back the ones that died when Covid was the pandemic will never come back because they are dead. You can bring back businesses, but you cannot bring back the lives that died. I know that when Covid was the pandemic the survivors are here with us. The survivors which is most of us survived when COVID was the pandemic, but the dead ones cannot come back. I know that that’s a hard thing to grasp but lives cannot be resurrected. You can replace everything else you can have survivors who live on but people that are dead are dead. They are not coming back. The ones that were lost. When Covid was the pandemic may they rest in peace. So many human beings in countries around the world from three years ago this very week, which is true until a year or so ago died in 2020, and in 2021 let’s not forget who they were however life goes on. They are in heaven with God if you believe in God, which I do, I believe that those who are dead in the grave of Covid from two years ago are in heaven. They are in a better place. My thoughts, and prayers, go out to their families, and their children who didn’t get to see their parents or grandparents who died two years ago or three years ago this month, and until two years ago when Covid was the pandemic it’s hard to fathom, but they will learn as they get older why they died they may not remember them as they get older but they will understand as they get older life goes on. Our grandchildren will study what we just lived through when Covid was the pandemic. It will be studied in the next generation in their history books. We will also tell our grandchildren about our experiences. When Covid was the pandemic. We will tell them about how we were staying inside exactly three years ago starting in the next week. We will tell them what we experienced exactly 3 years ago next week throughout 2020, and into 2021. We will tell them trust me we will.

Thanks to nurses, doctors and allied workers I survived my covid experience last October and November. In a coma and ventilator for one month and another month of rehab. Plus the faith of my family. I'm right there with you bro. The guy in the green top and long hair. I feel the same and went through the same. It doesn't leave you even after recovering.

I hope, since writing your comment, you have been able to be at peace with it a bit more. I haven't had the same experience but I know people that have, two of them are under 40, and it is still haunting them to this day with nightmares, anxiety,.... It has gotten a lot better but they still are far from over it. One of them told me that the worst part were the hallucinations he suffered from in the ICU, both while awake and when he was on a ventilator. He told me that for a few weeks, his mind had provided him with his very own scary movie to star in, with monsters, torture equipment and other scary things that appeared 100% lifelike. He was convinced it was real, for weeks on end. Afterwards he realized those monsters were the nurses and doctors taking care of him, and the torture equipment were the objects found in the ICU, but they looked completely different in his eyes at the time. It seems like it has traumatized them quite a bit. Know that you're not alone, there are talk groups with people that have had the same experiences. Seek them out if you need to, it really helped two friends of mine to talk to someone that could fully relate. And if you even think for one second that it might be beneficial, seek out a psychiatrist, better not to wait and let it fester further. In many cases it's not something you can overcome by yourself, not without risking permanent scars. You have my sincere empathy. I have seen what it can do to people and wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy

@BinaryBlueBull that is exactly what I went through with my nightmares and hallucinations. And you can't wake from them, so that is reality in your mind. Apart from the traumatic effects, it's really very fascinating. And thank you for your kind words. 🙏

I survived I feel for a reason. Not sure what it is but I don't wish anyone death. Its the only thing we all were given. Life. We need to cherish this miracle. So I will do everything to stay alive. I'm so grateful for those who work in healthcare...I did accomplish 6 years of medical courses. I have aspbetgers. I also have 15 illnesses. I was told I'm a miracle. I thank all the healthcare and hospitals who took care of me. The new variant omnicron I think it's spelled really scares me. Thank you for this excellent video.

I had 2 vaccinations and was awaiting my booster... ( the health center I belong to is very backed up with scheduling) and I take the normal precautions, but I am waiting on test results - I had exposure to someone who tested positive. Documentaries like this are heart- wrenching and all too real! It makes me angry when some people take this all like a joke and don't respect the health of others - they think it is their " right" to go about maskless - but if they are around the immuno compromised, elderly, pregnant women, children, etc. - they too, have rights... To life!

I wear two masks just in case. I have asked people to wear a mask they don't want to do it. It upsets me because they don't realize even if you are not sick, or showing any symptoms you CAN spread the virus on your hands ( shaking hands? ) or coughing expelling two billion tiny viruses into the air, closed space for three hours. So the more unmasked is a higher risk or non vaccinated. I can't understand why people are still going to crowed places. Only these trained professionals should be working until the Coronavirus can't spread anymore. Then they will have fewer patients dying and people getting sick. Stay home if you don't want to wear a mask.

Here I am a year after recuperating from my 2nd infection with covid19 and I am still bedridden with extreme covid long haul fatigue. I can't do even the most basic chores to clean my apartment.
Two years ago I was working a very physically challenging job. I was as strong as most of my male coworkers. I was killing it as they say. Now I'm almost an invalid who can't even wash my own hair and body without help.
I'm clumsy, I have brain fog, and I lost my beautiful thick waist length hair all due to covid19. Covid is real, it's not a conspiracy theory that some unbalanced immature ones who haven't had the virus yet, are in complete denial of.

"wearing a mask" really is a huge metaphor and is very symbolistic, I've seen so many videos so many blow ups of people refusing to wear them, getting upset when people wear them, people wearing them to hide there faces, hide there insecurities, and even today I know people who don't even worry about covid but they still wear a mask in public because it's a comfort thing and it's so socially accepted nobody blinks twice now seeing someone wearing a mask, where as 20 years ago I remember me and my friends used to make fun of people in China who you'd always see in those videos wearing masks with all the smog, thinking "wow, that's crazy they have to wear masks when they go out"

Me and my family have been very touched by our family members from not having their COVID virus vaccines , they all have been dying fast with out the vaccine, the very sad part to me is they were not ready to go , and went out pleading with doctors not to let them die , for many different reasons they were not ready to die , but the dr’s euthanasia’s them regardless if no vaccinations done previously, we just had a married couple die last week the husband and wife within one week, they got the symptoms of like a cold coughing etc and ordered the COVID test in which both came out positive at the same time and both died within a week, after being put into intubation at the hospital, whew omg ,
