@@craigmccall583 the pleasant problem, if one can say, about Pet Shop Boys' songs is that with Neil's absolutely unique but highly focussed singing is that he makes even not so ordinary songs sound greater than great, he's that good. Quite unmatched. At least among British singers, if Freddy Mercury's vocal range is regarded as being among the widest, I am sure Neil Tennant too has his own place. And may be Robert Plant would also rank among the best.
The pet shop boys music is FANTASTIC. Good music to dance to. I'm black and i've always loved their music, I still do. Well done THE PET SHOP BOYS. People will still be playing your music for years to come.

No idea how old you are but you should have lived through the 80's 90's and early 2000's as a relatively young person like I did. Every day on the radio a new song would be released and they were all in their own way ground breaking.

Remember getting this xmas 88.....I was 12...omg 12... Loved the album all.their songs are just so good still are...only band I bought their stuff b4 you hear most of the songs you know they will be solid...even their B sides were quality Not many bands stick around 4 decades....

I always loved the Pet Shop Boys and a lot of other "alternative" music from the U.K. I don't know WHY others, here in the U.S. , never truly appreciated their talent. I have always been in my own little world of non-mainstream music. I am happy for that! The Pet Shop boys are so talented and this song, is truly fantastic and a true piece of artistic talent.
Neil Tenant used to be the editor of Smash Hits magazine in the 80s. They were based in Carnaby street and me and mates knocked on their office door one day and he and staff were incredibly lovely and they showed us around the office. Answered all our stupid questions like ‘what’s Simon Le Bon really like?’. They were lovely and patient. Such great memories
I hadn’t really heard this song before but the guy sitting next to us at the Hollywood concert absolutely loved it when they started playing it. We were touched by his enthusiasm and now I can’t get enough of this song. Rediscovering the PSB and loving it!

I have to admit, I'm a kid of the 80s and loved the earlier PTBs material.......BUT never really cared for this tune. It was a BIG club hit and had major play on USA radio, but still it didn't do much for me. NOW, listening to it again - MAN, what was I thinking!!! It scores an Aplus on all levels.....melody, lyrics, production, orchestration, etc. If only todays dance music artist were half as talented!!!
They started leaving fans behind in the late 80s early 90s with groundbreaking style I remember buying the behaviour album in 1990 and thinking it was crap but came back to it a couple of years later and thought it was amazing
